Saffron in Cheshire West and Chester

Had a lovely family 14 piece banquet from saffron. Hot, delicious and plentiful. Delivery was on time, although somewhat confusing as the order completed before the food arrived. I did call the restaurant who confirmed it was on its way. The only criticism I have is the sides...they are on the cheap side (catering gravy) and warm coleslaw. Could also do with being a bit bigger, so wouldn't order extra next time, for the price, hence the 4 star review.

Usually OK pizzas. But tonight we waited for almost two hours for a pizza and a portion of chicken popcorn. The pizza arrived stale and cold and the chicken was grey inside and tasted awfull.. full of grease. I didn't ring as I just wanted to go to bed so I just binned it.

Normally enjoy the food but my food came late, but also arrived cold, not freezing but luke warm, I ordered a pizza and the cheese had hardened up already

We have ordered from Saffron for years and have always been impressed. But tonight when there was a mix up with our order, they went above and beyond to put things right and absolutely blew us away. We had just got back from holiday, had a herd of hungry kids and were pretty stressed and tired, so when half our order was missing, we were a bit upset. However, the team were incredible. They got our full order resent to us and were so lovely. Couldn't be more impressed with the customer service.

Can't fault this company....five star service...always fresh and fast delivery....

I've used these guys a lot over the past couple of years. Normally the food and service are great, but recently it's been terrible. The delivery times have been well over an hour each time, and the food portions and quality has really slipped. Whenever ive called up to enquire where my order is, I get half arsed excuses from some rude chap, constantly being snappy with me. Despite the above, gave them a few changes since, but ultimately have now reached a point where I'm no longer going to be ordering with them. Definitely avoid!

Be careful when you order a 9" pizza for a£5 they charge you £7 not be going again

They say they're open till late. That's a lie. I work till midnight/1am. They call it quits before the time stamp on the menu.

Used to be good. Everytime recently wrong order or something missing. Taking nearly 2 hours. Looking at the reviews all seems to be the same lately

Have used for a year or so now. The last four times for the food has been late and cold. Tonight was the last chance, won't be going again unfortunately....

Kept calling and going to voicemail. Finally got through to make order and everything came cold and also got order wrong. Product of lazy incompetent staff. Will not use again - 30/08/21

I don't like leaving bad reviews but that was a poor kebab. Nan bread was very thick and dry, meat chewy and barely any salad. Oh well.

I could have laid an egg, grew and raised a chicken and cooked it in the time its taken to come.

Delivery was late by 25 minutes, food was cold, chips were soggy, kebab came with no salad ? Was dry and cold.

The best around in the area. Everything under one roof. Love the new desserts and ice cream menu. Top notch

Had a bit of a mix up because my friend put the wrong contact number down and the takeaway we think was stolen from the door step. We have been in contact with Saffron and they have been brilliant about everything and have even agreed for us to make another order, free of charge. They could have quite easily told us no but they didn't. I'm very happy about the way they have been. The food itself I have always found brilliant, value for money. Looks like they get a bit of a bad wrap on reviews and I genuinely don't know why, I have never had any problems and the food is always spot on. Would highly recommend.

I ordered a nutella waffle with banana which turned up almost cold, hadn't been cooked fresh, banana was off, and the sauce wasn't nutella just standard chocolate sauce. Also, ordered the rainbow cake which smelt disgusting and had obviously been sat in a fridge for a long while. Finally, ordered the kinder milkshake which was watery and had very little kinder actually in it. Definitely the worst takeaway I've had in northwich, will not be ordering from here again.

Always been ordering chicken kebab but this time iomg!!! s just 4 tiny pieces of chicken for 6.50!!! My girlfriend have onion allergy and they put onion in it!!! I will support busines how want to be in business, unfortunattely not you guys. Try to call and resolve it but without any result. Will not order anymore!!

Best takeaway in Northwich . Had the chicken and pizzas both were delicious. And at a better prices than Kentucky and dominos .well worth trying .

Order was ment 2 be delivered by 00:10 but didn't arrive till 00:45 with no call and the food was stone cold won't be ordering food from there again

Horrid place people and service also incorrect order and refused refund or correct food.

Went to order tea therr were 2 men working it took 40 mins just to make one order they had no other customers or no food orders. The attitude of them was rude and snatching the money from our hand. I am very disappointed in the service i recieved from them tonight

Spent 15mins trying get through as user busy and when I did they answered and told me they was closed at 12am yet on here it says open till 12.30am advise you Change your opening times on here. Poor!!!!

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! Well if that's the case can we please have the old management back! The food we've had from here in the past was delicious and plentiful. Today's effort fell far short of that, the chicken and donner kebab was bland, the chicken was tasteless. The naan bread was tough and covered in black charcoal off the oven. The small donner wasn't really small, more microscopic. Literally 4 small pieces of donner, and 2 tiny strips of lettuce! The pitta bread was also hard and really quite inedible. Such a shame as it's been so good in the past, won't be going again though.

Best Indian Takeaway by far in Northwich.Food is always first class.After being a customer of Saffron for the last twelve months I definitely wouldn't go anywhere else.Highly recommended.

Ordered food at 6:20 and it's now 9:51 and still not received anything. Been on the phone twice and they made no effort at all.

I ordered food one Saturday night at midnight after I came in from meeting up with friends. Me and my partner were really hungry! The wait time was 45 mins. We spent just over £15 on food. At 1:15am the food still hadn't turned up, well over an hour later. I called the branch which then tried to get in touch with the driver. The driver then called me and said he had already delivered the food? I said to the driver it was odd as there was no food outside my house and no one had knocked on the door. He advised me he dropped the food off at No2? When I lived at No 10! I told the lady on the phone this at least 3/4 times my address when I FIRST MADE THE ORDER. I called the branch back up to say id spoken to the driver, and he has delivered it to the wrong address what are they going to do as no my fault their driver delivered to the wrong address. Spoke to the lady I first made the order to, you told me no2 so it go delivered to no2. I advised I had been to no2 the house was in darkness and no one was in so I don't know how that had happened. Lady insisted MY FAULT I gave wrong address, don't know how as I was starving after seeing friends and having no tea I surley wouldn't send my food to the wrong address after pre paying on my card for the order!! Lady passed my manager who basically said NOTHING he can do, Wouldn't give me a refund and wouldn't re send out my order, basically that it was my fault and they wouldn't and couldn't do anything for me. Eventually I had to ring my bank and despute the funds which I got back a few weeks later!

Had a delicious food @ Saffron, worth trying it.

Very poor service. Ordered on a Monday night and had to wait 1hr 40 mins for it to be delivered. Once delivered we were missing 2x naan breads, 2x rice & a bottle of coke. So I rang the restaurant who stated that they have given me free popadoms, so it's okay that I don't have the other items. When I demanded the delivery of what I ordered the gentleman was rude to me & tried to negotiate down on what he'd send me. I stood my ground and said that I would claim back the payment from my bank and they can come to collect the delivered items, this made him agree to send me the rice and naans. 40 more minutes later they delivered the naans. The food quality was good however the service they gave was awful.

Best Pizza in Cheshire. No cheddar mixed in. All done properly. Their food is amazing.

just got the most crappy kebab i have ever had the meat was burnt and salad and sause was missing i rung them and they brought more and that was exactly the same SHOCKING DONT EAT HERE ITS AWFUL u want a nice kebab go to zal the indian AMAZING KEBAB FROM THERE . this is so bad my cat wudnt touch the meat AWFUL !!!!!!!
