Saffron in Kirklees

The curry I had last night was expensive and very poor, really disappointed, I'll not use them ever again

Great food, not too oily, as with other Indian takeaway establishments in the area. The portions are a good size with a good quantity of meat and not too many green peppers, onions, or tomatoes to fatten it out !! The staff are always friendly.

Never had a bad meal yet. The staff are very polite and have a very good kitchen set up.The food is well cooked and presented to the customer as though they care about what they do and just not thrown in a bag .Parking has never been a problem ..

Went in ordered a piece of chicken for £1.80 got into the car was size of my finger utter rip off to be honest!! Won't go again! Was dry and over cooked! Clearly poor Tweetie missed leg day!

Tried it once and that’s enough for me.. absolutely starving and wouldn’t of eaten it if my life depended on it.. can’t comment on all the food but the few things i did order (donner meat, pizza and burger) wasn’t fit for a dog.. The food was that bad it’s put me off pepsi (the can of pop i had whilst I opened the coffin they delivered!). It’s fair to say i didn’t order much / try everything so can’t fully approve the 1 star (because i can’t give any less) but if you can sell road kill then i dread to think what other bits of concoctions are hidden with sauce & spices..

Amazing, my go to takeaway, very speedy delivery and easily the best option locally! nothing but respect for the staff who are polite time and time again. wonderful food👌

Got a tandoori lamb tikka it was awful very dry the curry sauce with it was cold and tasteless, I then called to complain and was told it was cooked 3 days ago then re grilled which is disgusting at the prices they charge....go elsewhere guys.

Just moved to the area tried these for 1st time never again dry n taste less and not even a full portion terrible

Best kebab I've had in a long time, definitely recommend the mixed grill kebab!

Never had a bad takeaway, Loads of topping on pizza's, juicy burgers lovely curry's, grate kebabs, and the chocolate bar milkshakes 🤤 it's are go to takeaway.

One star 🌟is too much, would give zero. Reheated chips 🍟not fresh.curry not freshly made.. Phoned to complain and they admitted and apologised for food not being fresh 😒😡

No mayonnaise on burger, burger also apparently no longer comes with chips. Chips stuck to the bag and very soggy. Portions are alot smaller with larger prices. Also a 50p charge for using a card which is illegal. Gone massively down hill.

Not a clue what their food tastes like because i was completely ignored. I ordered two kebabs THREE TIMES from a girl on the counter who was only interested in the phone. No one wearing a mask either. Apalling.

By far the best Pizza in town!! Quick delivery and always amazing quality. Sad to be leaving town in a few weeks and missing out but may have to pop back just for one of their amazing Hot Shot Pizzas! Cheers guys 👍🏻

Since moving back to the village 4 years ago I have struggled to find a decent curry which I can enjoy. I have tried all of the local curry houses/indians etc. and none of them compare to Saffron. I had Keema Masala and I have to say it was absolutely divine! I will definitely re-order. We had a bit of a mishap with my sons burger but credit given where credit due, I phoned up and they brought a freshly made burger within half an hour, along with a sincere apology. I cannot fault the service from ordering over the phone to delivery. Amazing. Thank you!

Good takeaway. Plenty of choice. Take card payments which seems to be a rarity with takeaways around here. Will be going back.

Disgusting. Rang to complain and was told by a very inexperienced member of staff I should of chose something else. Never will return. Waste of money . Do NOT go
