I ordered all the time really tasty food

Never Again. Watery Madras Curry was just water and barely any chicken tikka in either. £7.50 per curry and nothing to it, absolutely disgraceful. The meal was all cold despite us arriving 10 min early than the set 9pm collection time it was already ready so who knows for how long... £25 quid we spent, never again.

First & last try Safa..only thing that seemed freshly cooked was side order..starter dried up & tasteless Vote wth feet

Very nice and autentic food. We ordered about 10 different dishes as a take way and they all were very delicious.

The worst onion bhaji I have ever tasted - the texture was basically solid and impossible to eat . I ordered chicken tikka saag and the chicken was overcooked and basically tasteless - the sauce was watery and again basically tasteless. The egg rice was better - although again overcooked - the tandoori roti was very good and the only reason for the one star review. Not to be revisited - certainly if you are sober ☹️

Tried this Indian for the first time after ordering off ubereats and I must say this is the worst Indian food I have ever experienced. I order a chicken tika dansak, pilau rice, onion bhaji, pompadums and a parata bread. The Dansak was absolutely not a dansak and looks to have just been thrown together in a pan. The onion bhajis were soggy and not cooked properly. The parata bread was under cooked and resembled a pancake in look and taste. The only thing I can honestly say was OK is the rice and pompadums. When called back to complain the man was very rude stating "if you don't like dont come back" I would not recommend this place to anyone and I would advise the owner of the establishment to review his chefs skills because 1 star rating is still to much for this place.

Excellent food, superb service, all at a reasonable price, took our own wine, excellent portion sizes, early when we went so no problem getting a table. Restaurant and toilets clean. Will definitely be back.

Despicable. Food poisoning symptoms and cramps a few hours after visiting. Butter chicken and makhani tasteless and bland.

Just Excellent! Cash only though. Food very good indeed, portion sizes are above average. Vegetarian options are available and lovely, especially the paneer dishes. Service is excellent, very welcoming and attentive. Atmosphere is relaxed. Parking spaces are available.

Ordered for collection, ready for collection in reasonable time very friendly staff and the food was excellent there wasn't a single thing I could have complained about no small potions, nothing over/under cooked very nice A++++ on all acounts thank you to the staff at SAFA

Ordered takeaway and food was lovely but felt the king prawn ‘kurma’ could have had more prawn in for the price but was still lovely.

What a lovely meal we had tonight. Little one loved his meal chicken nuggets thank you for accommodating for him. The food was amazing. Curry lovely spice to it. Mixed kebab was amazing huge had to bring a doggy bag home. Service brilliant so friendly.

If I could give no stars I would .I will never order from here again. The food was cold , they forgot the nan bread and had to wait 40 minutes extra whats point when already eaten. All poppadoms were broken and the sauce lid was not on properly so the sauce went all over the food and bag. Their excuse was sorry we're busy that's why the food came like it did. You have lost a good customer. Not the delivery drivers fault it was whoever packed the food. No refund offered or extra food if their was they wouldn't have received this bad review.

First time order today, got recommended, absolutely beautiful food, great portions, this is now my number one place to go too. Highly recommend. 10/10 can’t fault anything. Just ordered again today and absolutely blown away; it was perfect.

Avoid complete rip-off!!. Korma was like water with a couple bits of small chicken in. Samosas were like asdas small frozen in a bag. Fish pakora were feeble. Buna was swimming in oil. In total for our takeaway it came to £42! Phoned to complain and came out with replacement items. But were exactly the same as previous. Won't be ordering again.

Food arrived medium warm at best, and the butter chicken was really bland. 😞 Wouldn't recommend and won't be ordering again.

First time ordering after friend recommended it was good, will be last time, food came bag had sauce spilled in it so much so the menu absorbed some, very watery a few pieces of meat, for the price you pay you would expect better than that, my daughter said it was like having soup and chips as said before won't entertain this place again.

I cannot tell you how fabulous Safa are. I've ordered a few times now and the food is sooo good. Huge portions, piping hot and they are usually early with delivery also. The delivery team are always polite and friendly. This is my favourite place. Love it! ❤️

To be totally honest when we first got the food it look good, but once I started eating I then noticed something wasn’t right and it ended up being food poisoning from the food and had serious issues:/3days later I am still very unwell. So personally wouldn’t Oder from here again.

Shocking had more spice in a bowl of cornflakes. Food was flavourless and the nann bread was from the shop warmed up wouldn't recommend or be using again

To be honest pretty let down. The reviews are brilliant so had high hopes. Our usual Indian was closed so ordered here. The order arrived over an hour late so ordered at 6 and received at nearly 8! They also lied at 7 saying it was on its way but the place is literally 8 mins away. One of the curries was missing and I found everything very bland. Literally not one indian spice in anything. Not sure where the good reviews are from but I certainly wouldn't waste my money.

First time in the Restaurant as we have always had takeaways and it did not disappoint . The food & the staff were fantastic, would highly recommend and will definitely be going again .

STAY AWAY... Food is so bland. Never been a curry house.

1st time ordering from here and it was discusting chips and rice was under cooked, onion barji tasted like rubber Marsala chips was slimy! Never again.

Tried this place after some decent recommendations. Not the best takeaway I've ever had. Food was OK but a bit bland. Poppadoms weren't cooked properly. Will give it another go as it may have been a one off bad day.

Just had our second takeaway to see if it was as good as the first one and it was. Well done SAFA for not over spicing medium dishes, too many places are over spicing at the moment. We also had a Korma which wasn't too sweet, a rare thing at the moment. Ordering and delivery were very good, the only gripe is that there is no lime pickle on the pickle tray

Another new restuarant which has some authentic Indian dishes with some specialty fusion dishes such as the Safa box, a delicious selection of your favorite Kebabs and nan bread.

We went as a family for a meal in the restaurant and it was delicious. I’ve had a few Indian take-always over lockdown and always been massively disappointed, but Safa’a onion bhaji were fab! Curries were tasty, bread was lovely too. Had a few take-aways since and all been really good, hence me writing the review.

First time we had tried Safa and nothing could be faulted. The food was excellent and good portions. Safa is definitely on our list for future orders. 100% recommend.

Went with the girls for a meal out and wasn’t disappointed. Couldn’t do enough for us, do not sell alcohol but let us bring our own and from start to finish very attentive service. Great menu with lots to choose from. We all had Poppadoms, followed by onion Bhaji and shashlik starters which were served hot and very tasty! We had a variety of curry’s, rice and Nan and all were the best we had ever tasted….one of us had the curry apna style and she said it was delicious. Can honestly say cannot fault the food or service, we are a rowdy bunch lol and they were really so good with us. Can’t wait to go again and will definitely be using the takeaway service. Thanks for the tasty food and excellent service.

Wow!!! Fantastic Quality Meal for really fair price, after seeing all the great reviews and recommendations on facebook, i had to give this new place a go! So today 2 of us went for a meal, from popadoms to deserts!, we had a different mix of starters and dishes to try them, all dishes stood out with their own unique flavours and spice, a absolutly great meal overall, cant fault anything, the service was very good, meals was spot on! We asked the dishes to be made Apna Style as i tend to like food to be spicy, well done guys! Will be back soon! I recommend this to anyone!😋👌🏻 and seen some other reviews, please give them a chance as they are new and im sure if asked they would be more than happy to help fix any issues and give the best food and service, because thats what we got👌🏻

Ordered an hour and half in to opening time and was told they had run out of onion baji’s, found this a bit strange as the establishment is also a restaurant. Received my order and was extremely disappointed, madras is supposed to be spicy but the curry was bland and flavourless. I wouldn’t even say it was on par with a regular curry, more like a tomato sauce with no spice what so ever. I’ll stick to Chutney in future. Gave 1 star as the rice, popadoms and naan bread were ok.

First time order. Had a meal deal with starter main side and rice or naan. Seriously most bland curry ever. Chicken tikka Madras is meant to be spicy. Ive had spicier boiled rice. Very disappointed and will not recommend I'll just keep going to Bay of Bengal or chutney. At least there Currys ain't cold and bland. My nine year old son ate some my Madras. He laughed when I told him that it was meant to be spicy. He even said it was boring and no flavour also chewy

Ordered a take away your supposed to get something knocked off with the opening offer but we didn’t the starter was average the rice was ok the main was tasteless I tried my partner s and it tasted the same as mine even tho it was supposed to be different the pashware nan wasn’t very nice either.£30 order won’t be doing it again

Ordered for the 1st time very disappointed asked for onion bhaji had none left that’s fine so ordered my main chicken madras and vegetable madras unfortunately the madras was not spicy what so ever flaming hot monster munch was more spicy so disappointing

Hour and half wait on food. Tikka had half of the chicken very chewy, just chicken pieces in sauce - tomato soup. No veg. Cold dishes and naan had to warm up in microwave. So disappointed. Naan had no filling but starving so ate it. Two bags of salad and raita free but no poppadoms ...? Needs work on its recipes and food management.. what a flop. Sorry guys.
