Ein sehr schönes Lokal mit einer beruhigenden Stimmung. Der Name passt allemal: Es hat sich wie eine kleine Oase im eifrigen Stadtleben angefühlt!

Came here on a Sunday for brunch and the ambiance is amazing. The lighting from the sunroof, plants and wooden furnitures, oh and did I mention ALL of the foods are vegan?! The egg was made of silken tofu, and it even comes with "egg yolk"! The service was great as well. Looking forward to returning for a coffee and another round of food.

Me and my partner have loved this place for many years and we always go when we travel to Exeter. We took our friend the other day who had never been and she loved it just as much as us! Always so welcoming and friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble. Love seeing them so busy as they deserve every penny. The food is another level, with every detail and care put into each ingredient and the drinks are always so refreshing and special. The atmosphere is always so cosy with the service always being 10/10. We also treated ourselves to little sweet treats at the end. Highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed!

Always a 10/10 experience, a local spot for me & as a vegan I feel very lucky for being so close. The food is amazing, their changing menu across seasons never fails to disappoint and the service is lovely - always kind & very helpful, even when I’m taking 10 mins to pick what to have (because there are so many amazing options on their menu). Their drinks are also very good & their matcha specialties are always insanely yummy. I have even been to one of their evening supper clubs & it was fantastic, their food is thoughtful & always delicious. All in all one of the best places around & so grateful that I live close by & get to visit on a regular basis x also sorry just an additional shoutout for their baked goods the raspberry & maca brownie is to die for xxx I could go on but I shall stop now, basically a must visit x

Really lively cafe at the end of this small shopping area. Great vibe, very hipster, eco themed, a lot of repair shops, recycling stores in the area to browse. The food is all vegan and what I tried was delicious. The healthy milkshakes all sounded a bit "healthy" to me, but I tried their chocolate one and it was delicious (and maybe even healthy for me). The soup was a generous size and the bread that came along with it was very tasty, good crust on that. I can't say enough good things about this place - I just wish it was nearer to where I live in Manchester. We visited on my birthday. My boyfriend isn't vegan but really enjoyed the food and especially the award winning vegan egg. We did pick the brains of our server on how it's made as I'd love to be able to eat something like that at home. All I will say is that you need to try it and I thought it was better than how I remember eggs. Big statement! Then I had possibly the best cake I've ever eaten. It was a strawberry/raspberry blondie. It was absolutely divine! The chef said that it had been made especially for an event - my feedback is that it needs to be a permanent feature on the menu so that everyone can try it. Staff here were so friendly and I just loved seeing a plant based venue being so busy! Will definitely return next time I'm in the area - and will hope for a blondie!!!

The coffee was nice, I had an almond flat white. The atmosphere and setting is cool. The breakfast bun I thought was too soft throughout, and a lot of contrasting flavours (mustard, sriracha and spinach) which I thought would work. I unfortunately didn’t like this or the texture and had to return it. The waitress was lovely and happy to change it for something else. I was questioned if I am vegan, which I didn’t think was needed- I eat a lot of vegan food. Following this at the till I was asked for feedback, again, I explained the texture was just too soft. I was told this was a ‘personal’ preference and that they normally ‘fly off the shelves’. Again, I didn’t think this was appropriate and felt embarrassed to give honest feedback. I feel bad returning food anyway as I am pretty tolerant, but this just wasn’t my cup of tea. If you would like feedback, at least be willing to take it on board.

Has to be one of the best vegan restaurants I've visited - the decor, the staff and the food was so so wonderful. Can recommend the reuben sandwich and the solar cheesecake!

If you looked up "perfect cafe experience" in the dictionary you'd find Sacred Grounds. The food is excellent, the coffee and cake are worth making an excuse to stay for and without exception, the staff are friendly, welcoming and thoughtful. I could recommend it more highly. Personally, I would endorse the Avocado Toast (more avo than a ground sloth can shake a stick at!), the Mineralist smoothie and a smooth Oat Latte.

A little chilled haven with awesome food! The taste & presentation of dishes is proof itself of how much the chefs care. It’s the perfect example of why I’d rather pay to support an independent business, who uses quality ingredients, than the many chains the city offers. Staff are really lovely too! Not a place to go if your short on time, particularly if it’s busy (which is great to see)- but it’s worth the wait.

Visiting for a lunch social with colleagues. One of their regular places to eat by the Quay and came highly recommended. Had a freshly prepared shredded tofu wrap and the house blend black Americano with a vegan apple and blackberry flapjack to finish. Everything was delicious. 100% would return!

Coffee delicious and made exactly to my specifications and a gorgeous bacon bap at a good price, no wonder it’s so popular.
