My first time tasting this cuisine outside of my visit to Xi’an and I was pleasantly surprised. The flavors definitely suit my palate more as a non-local visitor. The Steamed Wheat Noodles with Seasonal Veggies & Wheat Gluten may look red and oily, but don’t be fooled! It’s not spicy at all. It pairs perfectly with the cold veggie appetizer! There was one male staff member who was genuinely professional—polite, attentive, and carried himself with such great etiquette. I’d honestly come back just for the service. Truly exemplary.

I work nearby. In the past few years, I have taken my colleagues and many friends here to eat hundreds of times. It is very authentic and satisfies the Chinese appetite of our overseas friends. I once got a free ice cream for my birthday! Today's lunch was served by the manager Grace personally. To express her gratitude, she gave me a shopping bag and free iced coffee, and no VAT was charged👍 Thank you, I will often bring friends over to dine.

A very nice hub in Piccadilly Circus that offers various delicacies of Chinese cuisine. Very fast service and quality food, generous in both taste and portions. Prices meet the correct balance between quality and quantity: in 2, with a starter and 2 portions of biang biang noodles for 49 £ in total I find it quite reasonable, considering also that we left the premises full and satisfied. Recommended.

Took 10 of my colleagues there for a quick dinner before heading off to an evening event, the food and service was both great and I'm so glad there is another authentic Chinese food place that actually offers services. Price was very reasonable, we all had main and drink, with a few snacks to share and the bill was just over £20 each. Reservation was quick and easy. And beef rib noodle is certainly the one with highest rating tonight among the different murger, noodle, and pots we ordered.

The only thing we tried was the Biangbaing noodles with ox tripe, but MAN were they good. Totally different than any noodle dish I've ever had, and I eat a lot of Asian food. Very attentive, friendly service. Would definitely recommend!

Had an amazing meal at Murger Han in London! The braised beef rib noodles were incredibly tender and packed with rich flavor, and the crispy pancake was perfectly flaky. Every dish felt authentic and comforting. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. Definitely one of the best places for Xi’an cuisine in London—can’t wait to come back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We ordered biang biang noodles as a 3 in 1 which comes in an incredibly large plate and it was delicious. Try the 5 in 1 for extra impressive size of a plate. MURGER IS BASICALLY A CHINESE SANDWICH. Spicy beef is OK but really spicy. Also they don't really serve alcohol apart from one beer.

I like beef rib noodles and Rou Jiamo very much! It's authentic. I love it！

In the past, every time I came to Hanji, I would go straight for the **Yangrou Paomo (lamb stew with flatbread), Liangpi (cold noodles), and the Terracotta Warrior ice cream**. Today, we used a **BuyMee go £19.9 discount for a two-person set meal**, so we decided to try the **Beef Tendon Bone Noodles**—and it was absolutely amazing! This dish is now officially on our must-order list. The owner also secretly told me that **they’re giving out free "Roujiamo" keychains** to diners—limited quantity, first come, first served!

The food was very tasty (3 in 1 BiangBiang noodles, Duck Murger, crispy chicken), and the portion of the noodles was quite large. The service staff was quite nice. However, they forgot our crispy chicken dish order (it came after we finished all other dishes, after reminding them 2 times) and forgot to bring us cutlery, as well as tap water. Even though we booked a table well in advance, we had to wait upon arrival and they had to rearrange the table situation to free a table for two for us. They finally found a table in the basement area, which doesn't look very inviting, which wouldn't be a problem if we didn't book a table in advance, but when booking a table i would like to experience a bit better service in that regard. Still the service was very friendly and the food was super tasty.

The noodles are authentically Xi’An style, with a rich and flavorful broth. I highly recommend the spicy Liangpi, the original pork murger, lamb noodles (dry), and beef soup with glass noodles for a truly satisfying meal.

If I had this place next to my house I’d eat here all the time. The clear soup lamb noodles in particular (“slow cooked lamb noodle spring onion lamb soup”) — man that was a lovely warming bowl of broth on a cold night, deeply savory yet not oily or heavy. The roujiamo weren’t bad either, but that lamb soup was a little bowl of heaven.

The taste is far below the average. Service and atmosphere is better than taste. Overall, not recommended.

Props to the gentleman that served our 10-person reservation tonight! He really went above and beyond with topping up our soy bean drinks, taking care of us, and making sure our experience was good by getting plates and cutlery straight from the dishwasher, even right before closing. He even took the time to get a really good photo for the table. Thanks so much for making our night special with your wonderful service.

Absolutely love their food especially the cold noodles and the bun. But it was no longer as delicious as about in 2019. Back then the cold noodles are even better. Is just slightly less tasty than before but still very delicious

Delicious food. We had the meal for 2 and all the recommended dishes. The bubble tea is a decent size too. We got in at 12 but then people were queuing

The food was mainly cold, their ordering system is faulty and they blame customers for it. Half of our table was served 2 min after the order, the other half 20. Out of 5 people, 4 orders were wrong and they didn't acknowledge it. Forget about the spicy, extras veg etc, noodles will be all the same. You feel pressured to finish and to leave, it was definitely an unpleasant evening. Plus, they charge you 14% for cover charge, when the service is easily one of the worst I have ever experienced. Unfortunately , went downhill pretty quickly...

The menu was a little weird and I could not understand what they were offering. I made the mistake of ordering something too spicy and too greasy, I could not eat it. Thank God for Sandi, who noticed I was having a hard time with the food and brought me a new plate more to my liking. That man deserves a raise.

First time going to Murger Han, food was great with crazy portion size. What surprised me the most was the excellent service, waiter was super friendly and helpful.

Away from the Chinese quarter and the crowds, a good place for Biang Biang pasta. Large bowl well served. The crispy murgers are better than the classics. The service is almost too fast.

Delicious, gluten is very Xi'an

I’ve never seen someone come over there three times to chat fifteen minutes after the checkout without bringing the POS machine. The place was very empty, and two couples had to squeeze in to share a seat. At this level, you still have the nerve to charge service fees

It's a malatang-style food eaten in Korea. A mugger feels like a tortilla with meat in it. I think it's worth coming here when you want to eat spicy food.

Food is very tasty! Huge portions and noodles are one of the best ever tried.

Staff were very polite and always making sure we have everything we need. Food was served quickly and was very well presented, delicious and portions were generous. Seating is very comfortable and lighting is soft, just the right amount of brightness great for photos but not too bright. Background music was at the perfect volume, you can hear it but still hear your table mates speak and the playlist was immaculate.

I got their youtiao from YOHOME supermarket in Hammersmith, its the best youtiao i've had so far. Heated it in the air fryer, dipped it in some sweet soy milk, HEAVEN

The three-in-one and mutton steamed buns are both authentic. I really burst into tears. It's from the affirmation of Xi'an people. I really recommend it.

We had the biangbiang with dried beef and the LaTiaoZi noodles with lamb soup. Both amazing. The two of us shared and frankly we fort over the last bites. Amazing

Incredible food, this is probably the best Chinese food in London.

Very little vegetarian options and even that was plain and boring. I had tomato and egg sauce noodles. It was scrambled eggs on top of pasta and with spinach and tomato. No flavour at all. Gyozas were nice. My friend enjoyed her meat soup. Service was not great.

The food at your restaurant is excellent, but unfortunately, the service is far below expectations. The new manager has been extremely rude, which is disappointing for loyal customers like myself. As regular patrons, we believe we deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy. This is not an isolated experience, many of my friends who also frequent your establishment have encountered the same behavior. I strongly urge the higher management to address this issue promptly, as it risks tarnishing the reputation of an otherwise wonderful restaurant. I hope to see positive changes soon.

My friends and I have been loyal customers of this restaurant, and we used to dine there often. However, ever since they changed a new manager, the quality of their service has plummeted. The new manager has been very rude to us, giving us very bad attitude every time we visit. It has made our experience very unpleasant, and we will never go there again.

Came here yesterday and was already welcomed with lovely service by the waiters and staff. We had not reserved a table but the staff kindly allowed as to dine as long we didn’t overlap with the people who reserved . The biang biang noodles were soft and it was an amazing experience trying it for the the first time . I would definitely recommend. My daughter was pleasantly surprised by the spicy diced chicken and said it tasted amazing like a more expensive KFC. A big shout out to one of the lady staff whom we had a great and warming conversation as she gave us advice around central London . Overall I would definitely recommend being my first time to go out of my way to write a review !!!

I'm rating this place so high and will definitely come back mainly because of Grace, she made the whole experience enjoyable even though when we first got there we had to wait even though we booked because of some kitchen delays. Honestly she was helpful, kind and interesting.

The thickest longest noodle you will ever eat, I pulled the noodle out the bowl and transcended into a different dimension, a better world where noodles rule and the streets are paved with chilli oil

we were there for breakfast and ordered traditional Chinese food. Everything is kept as their original taste. My daughter took the wonton soup and she loves it. The deep fried dough stick is quite big and tasty.

The breakfast was delicious and Helen's service was great! Will come again~

This was a true hidden gem. The homemade Biang Biang is to die for, we couldn’t get enough of it. Great value for money. If it were twice the price, I would still go. We got the mild spicy level of the dried beef Biang Biang and the spice was just right. The meat was spectacular, melts in your mouth and juicy. My husband and I went in for a Saturday night dinner, super crowded, but the staff was friendly and efficient. Fully deserve the 5 stars 👌🏻

Handmade biang biang noodles were excellent. Noodles were bouncy and chewy, and went well with the spicy tomato broth. Duck Murger was slightly on the drier side. Friendly service !

it was okay. the murgers are just fine. my friends had the noodles, though, and really enjoyed them, so I'd recommend going for the noodles over the murgers. the staff did get our orders wrong twice, but they were incredibly busy so it was understandable. would recommend if you want large portions of noodles. wouldn't recommend the murger.

The most authentic Chinese street food place I’ve had in london. Amazing flavours and great variety with a very genuine ambience! Loads of exotic stuff to try! Beware of the spice levels!

My husband and I used to visit this restaurant often after shopping nearby. However, yesterday will be our last visit. The service was very disappointing. First, despite there being plenty of empty seats downstairs, we still had to wait for a table. Secondly, it took a very long time for our drinks to arrive, and we asked two different staff members for a fork, but no one brought it to us. Lastly, when we asked for the bill, we had to wait another 15 minutes before it was brought to our table. The service at this restaurant used to be very efficient and friendly, but it has gone downhill now. Perhaps there has been a change in management, as I no longer recognize most of the staff.

The staff are lovely but it gets so busy that it's difficult to get their attention especially when you are requesting noodle refills. Food here is tasty and you get a decent portion. I ordered the biang biang noodles and the murger. Whilst the noodles were yum, I found the murger a bit unmemorable. It's a hot spot with a lovely atmosphere - expect to be seated close to the next table...could barely get my thighs in between.
