Excellent vegan options. Friendly staff! Service was a little slow but nice experience overall.

The service was absolutely horrendous and rude. We had left our table for 2 minutes to have it completely cleared by staff who had decided we had left without paying despite leaving our handbags and full glasses of wine and prosecco on the table. There was no apology after they rudely confiscated my handbag and got rid of our drinks. I used to recommend this place but will certainly be warning others not to go. Unbelievably rude and the horrendous service in all my experiences at restaurants.

A disappointing evening. We ordered fish tacos and beef and chicken burritos which were good, but no better than you would get from a place like bar burrito. The real let down was the atmosphere and service. There were only two people serving the whole restaurant on a Saturday night. Despite booking, I wasn’t asked for my name upon entering just sat down with menus. We were served quite quickly with drinks (but they had no beers on tap that day and the bottled beers weren’t good) and the cashews (also not good) and then left there for quite a while before our food order was taken. We then had to wait a long time for our food, we were sat there nearly an hour before getting anything to eat. We were ready to leave straight after eating but again had to wait to get the bill and pay. The staff were very apathetic and not once were we asked how anything was. The music went off halfway through the evening and was never put back on. It just didn’t feel like being in a restaurant at all. Maybe it’s ok if you just want to call in for a quick, informal lunch, but don’t go for an evening out.

Informal restaurant, relaxed atmosphere, in truth more of a cafe feel, but that was nice it added to the feel. We all enjoyed our food, the fried jalapeno are gorgeous, the loaded fries are definitely loaded, the best I've seen anywhere. The beers weren't too great, but that's personal taste. Would reccomend a visit.

Food amazing, the added message saying "Good Luck It's Spicy!" Added to their charm - loved it!! I will be coming back, but I'll go a step hotter next time. Would definitely recommend!!

Take my opinions with a lump of salt because I grew up on Mexican food in Texas BUT I was disappointed. Little flavor in burrito, rice seems microwaved. Loaded fries had more toppings than fries and the bean chili had off putting flavor. Fish tacos were the only part I enjoyed but the salsa was also nice. Food took ages to arrive like more than 45 mins. Service was okay but we struggled to get our bill in the end. Overall, not for me.

They catered a wedding I recently attending and the food was incredible but what stood out was the amazing service. They were attentive and positive and lovely throughout the entire night. Can’t recommend them enough.

Awful experience. Do not go here. We were served dirty glasses of water twice… Ignored for over an hour and a half… Served tasteless microwaved food. Served cheese for my partner who has a dairy ALLERGY after stating this beforehand… Overall, we should have left before we ordered because it took 30 minutes to be given glasses of water…The restaurant had 3 tables the entire time..

Great little Mexican spot in Farsley which caters for all - we had a vegan in the party and options weren't an afterthought. Recommend anything with the salsa verde, fish tacos and battered jalapenos.

Ordered on Uber eats, My partner said it’s the worse takeaway we have ever ordered, was really bland and cold, soggy. Had to pick out bits to eat. It wasn’t great and unfortunately won’t be ordering or recommending.

Saltiest burrito and dry beef. Stale tortillas. Anything that has cheese is like a mature cheddar and over powers the whole thing. Worst Mexican I've had

My favourite restaurant in Leeds, usually visit once a month with a friend. The food is absolutely amazing.

Delicious food, great portion sizes and good value for money. Has a nice, casual atmosphere and the best mexican food I've ever had. Has veggie and vegan options, both of which are just as good as the meat version - the vegan loaded fries were gorgeous!

I had the lamb kofta meal. Excellent value and cooked fresh.

We went as a larger party and pre ordered food, it was all very nice and tasty. The only let down was that we had to keep going to the bar to order drinks, rather than getting any table service.

Very dissapointed with the size of the Burritos. I also ordered Buritto fires thinking they would be something other than just a very small portion of cold fries. Ordered a kids meal and there was meal to it, just a taco. Also the chicken crunch burrito was not crunchy at all. Chips were nice, just not hot when we got them. Very dissatisfied

A little bit of an enigma. Been twice and both times the atmosphere/attendance has been a bit lacking (though this might be because it's a little walk from the 'centre' of Farsley) but both times the food and service has been great. The regular sized burritos appear quite small but they are densely packed with flavourful pulled meat. A couple of interesting beers on tap too!

For me, the food is not worth the price. I absolutely love mexican food but this didn't quite hit it for me. On the plus side, the serving staff are very friendly and attentive.

Just ordered and whilst the food tasted okay it is definitely not worth the price, especially the single burrito you receive which is described as a "Large portion" for £15 (no bigger than my hand). Very disappointed overall, far too much money for what you get. My order was placed through Uber so its likely the prices are slightly higher but still wont be ordering from here again.

Had takeout a few times from Sabroso Street which were always good, and ate in for the first time recently. Would gladly recommend them both for takeout and dining in. We were a party of 12 but booking in advance was easy and we were well accommodated on the day. Waiting times were very good for the size of our group, and all the food was excellent. Will definitely be returning!

What a let down! This is no where near an authentic Mexican. The food is bland, the atmosphere is dead and the service is just as bad.

I think the waiter was high as a kite. Took an hour to get served a very poor corn chowder. Only two other people dining. Empty at lunchtime should have been red flag.

Oh my word!!! The food and service are absolutely amazing. Perfect for veggies (the jackfruit burrito and firecracker cauli are yummy but so are the nachos and deep fried jalapenos!!). Defo recommend. We'll be back!!!

We booked for a big group table for a family gathering. There were lots of toys for the children to play with; the food and service were fantastic and the menu is really reasonably priced. We had a great time; the atmosphere was relaxed and loved the Mexican music ☺️ highly recommend!

Was ordering online for four guys £111 four burritos beef four nachos four nuts fair enough then we get to cokes £3.45 each now I don’t mind paying and the price was fair enough for the food but a 40p coke £3.45 !!! RIP off so went elsewhere and won’t be back

Just ordered a burrito take away from them! Worst burrito I've ever tried. That bad I've thrown the whole thing in the bin as that is not edible! The chicken tasted disgusting. Not burrito seasoning. It was all shredded and horrible. No salsa, no sour cream, no salad. They literally just added bad chicken and horrible rice! Spoke to the man on the phone and he said he would speak with the chef. I am worried they are serving food this bad. I will never eat from here again

Friendly and welcoming atmosphere, excellent food with staff that genuinely seem to have an interest in what they have to offer. Will definitely be visiting again.

We booked Sabroso Street for our wedding and they were absolutely fantastic. On the day sadly some of their staff had to call in sick, so the owner single handedly managed to cook and serve all of our food on his own! The horsebox that they use looks so brilliant, and the food was amazing. All of our guests commented on how tasty it was - I just wish I had room to eat more of it! We highly recommend booking Sabroso Street for your wedding :)

Fantastic service, small error on the food but was sorted out straight away. Shredded chicken is very flavoursome and great choice of salsas on the table and menu. Lots to love, only reason for a star less is the food error and a chunk of the tortilla chips were kinda stale. Would like to see Modelo on the menu, but they did have some good local beer choices as well as a couple of classic Mexican ones. Still, I would (and will if I’m in the area) eat here again.

Sabroso provided us with a fantastic food for our wedding evening guests. Delicious food and fab service. Would highly recommend

Sabroso Street is great. Better than those Mexican chains you get in city centres. Good choices on the menu. Great locally brewed beers available. Friendly neighbourhood restaurant.

Food was excellent. Could do with more staff as they didn't get around to ask for additional drinks. They seemed very stretched.

The menu had a good range for vegetarians and I chose the loaded fries and fire-cracker cauliflower - really flavourful with decent portion sizes than left us really full and satisfied. Really enjoyed our food and staff were super friendly.

Went last night for the first time and to be honest disappointed ! I’ve been to many Mexican restaurants and never seen chicken all shredded up ? The crunchy chicken burrito was just a mush of chicken and rice and everything was overpowered by coriander ?? Again not seen coriander in Mexican food before? Sorry! Also the Horsforth Brewery Mexican pale ale which was described as good with Mexican food tasted far too floral and just a weird taste generally . Not a good first impression at all I’m afraid . Manana Abersoch , N Wales . Thanks for your reply , but I also worked in a Mexican restaurant kitchen and never saw coriander ! Maybe you should give us the chance to try something different ? Maybe we chose wrongly ? Were trying to replicate fajitas ? Also I’d love to know the ingredient in the beer that tasted so floral ? Not being critical , just constructive. May I add that the tables were very sticky and didn’t feel clean, we were not asked if we wanted another drink and despite the fact you were quiet our plates were left on the table until we paid ! How you got an Oliver award defies belief !

Having been here before last night's visit was extremely disappointing we were placed on a table up some steps in a back room and quite frankly forgotten about. We had to get up to find someone to take our order then after an hour and 45 mins we went to pay for drinks an leave just as our order appeared from the kitchen. Two of the party still wanted to leave there were 4 of us but we talked them into staying convincing them that the food was worth it. We stayed food not that brilliant last night had better there. My chilli was tepid at best. They did apologise and knock 12 pound off the total bill however its our last visit.

Great staff and very welcoming. Meat for the tacos lacked flavor but there are multiple great salsas and hot sauce bottles to use at your will. My criticism comes from an extensive Mexican restaurant experience in America. But for the UK this is superb. Please open another location in Harrogate 😁. There are zero options in Harrogate.

Excellent small restaurant on the High Street in Farsley. Really good food at a reasonable price. Wine list not extensive but more than adequate. Comfy seats - tables well spaced. Will definitely visit again

Came for lunch last week as we live in a neighbouring town and have dined in/ordered in before. Great menu - I ordered the pork tacos with the fiery cauliflower as a side and both were amazing. My partner got the chicken torta which he loved. Recommend if you’re local to Farsley or visiting!

The food was amazing but let down by the bad service. After 25 minutes we'd still not received our drinks, so flagged one of the servers down who said our order has been misplaced. I asked if it would affect our food order and they said no. In the first hour we'd only had our starters. I asked how long our mains would be and they said its the next cheque to go through. After eating, there were no staff to be seen on the restaurant floor so we had to find a member of staff to ask for the bill. Granted, they did take our 2 pints off the bill but seriously, Sabrosa Street, sort your service out

First time here, what an excellent experience, food was lovely and reasonably priced. The staff, young man and young girl were lovely and very obliging. Smiles on their faces and a joke or two from the lad. Definitely reccomend and wine was good for £17 also. Thanks guys. X

Nipped in for lunch with my husband and we had a great sharing platter which was substantially more filling than expected. Young blonde haired waitress, working her cotton socks off and doing a great job.

First time visit. Popped in during Queens Bank Holiday so service a little slow but food was really good.

Ate here about a year ago and left a bit very good review put really pleased to say that the food is so much better. The service is really good and the staff were lovely. The best not reason I’m saying 4 star is due to the fact the Cauliflower tacos was really watery and hard to eat, that been said very tasty. The churros were great! The fish tacos lovely. The jalapeños starter and cauliflower starter also very good . Would definitely come back!

3 stars is for the food which is was beautiful, however having to wait an hour after going to ask was the big downside. The place was a mess, dirty tables sat there for the length of time we were in there. No apology for waiting, nothing. Shame the service doesn't back the food . Will put me off returning.

Once again the food from Sabroso Street was absolutely delicious, I find that it travels surprisingly well as I usually Order it on UberEats. The food is so fresh I recommend it to all my friends and have even arranged for them to come into my workplace because they are so good. I would highly highly a visit or a delivery. I usually have the pulled pork burrito and the sabroso nachos with pork. Having said that the portions are very large so a burrito would do one person fine.

I came last night for an early birthday meal which my partner had booked. I'm a firm believer in first impressions and when you are left waiting by the door for 5 minutes to be seated it doesn't set you off in good stead. Everyone seemed to be fumbling about and they didnt seem to know where they were sitting their customers. We then had to wait 15 minutes for our drinks order to be taken and at the time of ordering drinks I asked if we could order food to save having to wait to order this but we were told that our food order would be taken separately. While waiting for someone to come back to take our food order me and my partner actually debated leaving and discussed between that this service just wasn't acceptable. We had seen other people leave before being served drinks who also must have felt the customer service was diabolical too. Just as my partner was abouts to go to the restaurant next door to see if a table was available our order was taken. Nobody approached our table to ask if we wanted further drinks and anything we needed we had to ask for. The girls who were serving looked rushed off their feet which may explain the poor customer service. The lady who appeared to be management looked to be giving the girls no direction. This lady gave off a 'moody' vibe, didn't give customers eye contact, she never asked how our food was and when the food arrived it was almost like this was thrown on the table. She just didn't look happy at all. I found myself just watching what was going on around me the whole evening in complete shock at how this place functions. I witnessed one of the young girls servicing ask the lady in charge where to sit a certain set of customers and she shrugged her shoulders and completey ignored her. I felt really sorry for the two young girls working. A couple opposite us advised they waited an hour and half for their food. When our food did arrive it was nice and it is a shame the customer service was so diabolical that we won't return. There appears to be a few reviews with a similar vibe and I would really urge the owners to take these on-board as it's such a shame.

Travelled from outside the area due to recommendation. Ordered the sharing platter for two, the chicken and mini wraps were lovely. Could have done with more cheese and jalapeños and the nachos were missing salsa! We were told to let them know of any more extras were needed however staff were sparce and no one ever come to ask if our food was ok and if we needed anything else. Mexican rice was very bland, dry and undercooked. Disappointing visit overall.

This place is absolutely sensational. I was there for the turning on of the Farsley christmas lights. The restaurant is immaculate with brilliant staff who are very attentive. The food is out of this world. Personally, I LOVE the pork tacos. So smokey and good. But the fish tacos got mega reviews from my group. Oh, and the battered jalapeños are ridiculously good. Top marks to the chef and kitchen team. Well impressed. Will be coming back here for years to come!

Basic food !! Hot food served within five mins of ordering, did not finish my Burritos reason why ? went to the toilet which was unclean and untidy 🤔 in our opinion the toilet says a lot about the kitchen.

Visited this place about 6 months ago. Enjoyed it, so thought we would try again. Often, when you go back to a place, it is never as good as the first visit. However, once again, we weren't disappointed. My major problem was choosing what to eat! Good range on the menu, and reasonable prices too. I went for the burritos and my better half had a vegetarian dish. We both found our meals truly delicious. Staff were responsive and courteous and service was great. Place was spotlessly clean too. We will be putting this place on our regular list now. Keep up the good work!

Every time I eat at Sabroso Street, I have been delighted with the experience. Not only is the quality of food excellent, but the staff are friendly and professional, and will always go out of their way to help. I've eaten here with my family a couple of times, and they have always catered to the various tastes and requirements that we have. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
