Sable d'Or in Camden

Everything is so fresh and flavorful and the staff is very friendly. This was our first time in London and we were blown away!

Stopped in for a quick coffee and cake. Limited options available. Portion sizes were ok, but both cakes were a bit dry. Coffee was hot though. Staff were friendly and efficient, but probably will try some other cafes in the area next time.

I used to be quite a fan of Sable D’Or but after two bad experiences recently I will never return. The first was buying some croissants that were clearly not fresh and made the day before. The second was being given caffeinated coffee after ordering decaf. The waitress even confirmed decaf as she served me, but in a manner that made me suspect she was lying. I was quite ill for 24 hours as a result of this. I suggest this place is avoided at all costs, try the excellent Englands Lane cafe instead.

I have been to this cafe twice and both times have been a really lovely experience. So many nice sandwiches to choose from with lots of vegetarian options. The smoothies are also really good. Nice little seating area too. The staff have also been so lovely and friendly both times I’ve been. Out of all the cafes on England’s lane this one is definitely the best!

We were staying around the corner at the HAVERSTOCK HOTEL and went to look for some "brunch" in Englands Lane. A local resident who we chatted to in the street suggested Sable D'Or. This is one of three such establishments in the London Area offering quite a wide variety of food. We were attracted to the Artisan Style of breads, quiches etc. and what we had was most enjoyable and pleasurable to eat. The coffee and smoothy drinks were very good indeed. A good place for a liesurely snack or maybe something more substantial.
