We went for breakfast. The service was great. The staff were all friendly and helpful. When one of our party wanted to take something out of the order they offered to swap it as opposed to just removing it. Food was all really tasty and well cooked. It’s an American diner so they don’t serve cappuccino/ latte but the bottomless coffee made up for that and they do have tea. Definitely worth a visit

I had high hopes for this place but unfortunately it was not great. The servers did not seem bothered and we waited ages for our order to be taken. When the food came out it was luke warm at best, the potatoes (home style fries) were hard and not crispy and the egg was barely cooked. I highly doubt I’ll come back

The food tasted like it had been sat out, had chicken and waffle, chicken was hard breast, waffle cold and hard, bacon soft. Nothing like the original diner food in Soho. Also a paper straw with a thick milkshake does not work

We turned up and the place was half empty, we hadn't booked and asked for a table but they said they were fully booked at 6 on a Tuesday. We asked if we could have a table before one of the bookings turned up and the server didn't know so had to get the manager. The manager came over very aggressively and told us to come back at 7. Very rude and wouldn't try again. Definitely go though if you like rude staff and kids birthday parties.

We had booked and on entrance we welcomed. It was calm & less busy for the time we booked but got busy as we left. The staff also accommodated our request to move seating. The staff were polite and professional. The service was quick. We both ordered The Hatch Chicken Burger with fries, the diner slaw to share & a milkshake each (Oreo & Snickers). The food/ drink was really good however a negative was that a 1/3 of the chicken in the burger wasn’t cooked and was raw. This was fedback to the staff, who was going let the chef know. Also, the communication between the staff could be improved, as a request was made to staff for more cutlery and we never received any until asking another member of staff, who provided us with it (and this was when the diner wasn’t busy at all). This was also the case when we highlighted the raw chicken in the burger, which we had to mention again when paying the bill. As a result, they deduct some money off the bill in view of this. Overall, a positive/ negative experience. Would come again and try other foods but will be make sure to check all is cooked well.

Had a great family meal. Good food and not too pricy for London.

Not sure why overall TripAdvisor rating is only 3 1/2. Excellent breakfast burrito and breakfast hash. Nice diner atmosphere and very good service. I would recommend, certainly for breakfast after a heavy night in Camden. One small bit of advice for management, would have liked decaf coffee, but not a criticism.

Food and service was lovely. The place was also very clean. Just shame about the small flies around us when we ate. (We ate by the window)

I visited Camden Diner around 6 years ago, I was in Camden for the first time since and thought I’d stop by again and I’m so happy I did. The staff are helpful, happy, welcoming and friendly. They make out they want the best for their customers! We had a mimosa which was great. We also ordered one of The Full Monty and one of The All out American breakfasts. Both breakfasts were amazing quality, well portioned and tasty! Will always make sure I visit this place when I go to Camden.

Disappointed with our visit here. The food was cold when it arrived, the girl who served us wasn't friendly at all and a service charge of £4.15 was automatically added onto our bill which I wasn't happy about because the service we received wasn't great at all. The table was clean but it was so cold in there that I couldn't properly get comfortable and most people were sat in coats. For the amount we paid I don't think the food was worth it at all. Almost £40 for two mediocre breakfasts. Don't recommend you to go here.

The service was friendly if a little slow. It has a mixed bar/diner vibe with some high tops and some booths. The food was disappointing. We ordered pancakes and bacon (fine, although the bacon was inconsistently cooked and the maple syrup was already drizzled on top rather than you being able to put on what you want), and the avocado and eggs on toast (the avocado wasn’t fresh and had the taste and consistency of pre-packaged avocado, which was hugely disappointing when it should have been the star of the show). The filter coffee was authentic to the diner experience… bottomless and weak.

First time dining there, Staff were wonderful especially after dealing with a customer who had some rather rude views towards other customers. The manager checked everyone was ok after the incident had been dealt with. Will definitely be coming back here in future

Fantastic service and excellent food, it looked so good I was half way through before taking the photo. Restaurant manager was fantastic and definitely a place to visit if you’re in Camden.

Went in here for dinner and can understand why it wasn’t so busy now Husband ordered a burger and I ordered all day breakfast Food came out and mine wasn’t even very warm and toast was stone cold and had only been toasted one side I said it was only warm and waitress didn’t really believe me but then took it back. My husband finished his meal on his own and I had to wait 15 mins for a new dinner which I thought was as ok as meant it was as being cooked. It then came out with a plate you could not touch and everything was baking hot but had no taste and I had to eat on my own. There wasn’t even an apology Defo would not go again

They where short staffed but still everything was good.polite happy and food was yum ,

Usually love The Diner but to be honest my burger was really disappointing. They forgot to put the pickles and onions in it and then just lobbed it on top when I mentioned it, which wasn’t cooked with the cheese so tasted weird. And I know I’m greedy but I used to love the extra milkshake that used to come with it but it’s gone. A real shame. Used to love it and think the portions and menu have changed, and so not as good value. Won’t be going back in a hurry!

I had the Big V Dog and the home-made lemonade, which was good. Decent portion sizes, so good value. I liked the decor and atmosphere. The service was slower than it should have been, especially when a 12.5% service charge is automatically added to the bill.

Vinimos a comer durante un viaje en Londres, y decidimos entrar aquí porque el resto estaban llenos o no tenían lugar donde sentarse. La comida estaba muy bien y el precio era acorde. El ambiente del local era cómodo y acogedor. A destacar el servicio del camarero, muy amable y muy atento. También se mostró muy paciente a la hora de repartir la cuenta, con la que tuvimos algunos problemas y nos ofreció ayuda. Recomendable si buscas comer por la zona. Cuando fuimos no había mucha gente.

Cute diner right in the middle of Camden Town. Lots of decorations, which make the atmosphere really nice. The service was good even though there was only one waitress for the entire restaurant. The food tasted good but was unfortunately almost cold.

Had lunch here (3rd visit) and was impressed again, but was really busy and seemed like the staff were stretched thin as service was average with no check ins at all or offer of dessert so paid for mains and left

On first glance the place looked great! Very nice setting and a various menu of American food!! We all ordered burgers, the hatch and the regular one. Everything looked okay, and we were very exited to take a bite. But as we ate some, the only thing we could taste was dill. Everything from the burger bun to the chicken and even the onion rings- everything tasted like dill. So if you come here, you have got to love dill!!!!

Terrible service mediocre food. Restaurant was dirty, staff seem unbothered and food was bland. Only one member of staff seem to be interested in doing her job the others stood around looking bored . The girl that look like she was left in charge for the night seem to be very abrupt and ignored customers.

Comfortable atmosphere and good food. I specifically sought out the English Breakfast and was not disappointed. Friendly and attentive waitress. Affordable prices overall. It's also a nice place to go for tea with friends and have a chat. I recommend it.

Nice range of vegetarian/vegan options! Food was cooked well, and the service was great. A tad cramped and a bit expensive for what you get, but overall a pleasant experience!

Group of 4 - we stopped for breakfast on Monday 11th December - menu looked good and catered for our whole parties dietary requirements. Service was slow and we ordered drinks whilst looking at breakfast options. Tried to order a cappuccino and a latte but were told they only did filter coffee, so ordered 3 white coffees and an ice cream float (the float was the best part of the whole experience for me). The coffee was rough and lukewarm when it arrived. One of the mugs had a crack in the top and looked dirty so we asked if it could be changed - this was not well received by the serving staff and the waitress was visibly not happy when she brought the coffee back (transferred into another cup and her manner was quite rude). We then ordered breakfast - we all got different items and unfortunately they all arrived lukewarm with items like the bacon undercooked, which didn't help matters. When collecting the plates the staff didn't ask if it had been okay which the fact that they were all only half eaten should have prompted them to ask what was wrong. The only speedy service received was when we asked for the bill which arrived immediately with a 12.5% service charge applied which I was appalled at as the whole experience of the waiting staff did not equate to that percentage of tip!!! Would not recommend this establishment to anyone wanting a decent start to the day. Very disappointing end to a fantastic weekend in London.

Visited Camden Diner with friends for dinner and had a very pleasant experience! The staff were very friendly and the wait for food was very short! Good selection for my vegetarian/vegan friends, however it would make things easier if there was the classic green 'V' indicating veggie meals on the menu. I got the chicken and waffles - the portion was huge! Very nice waffles, although the chicken was slightly dry and under seasoned. Would return!

Delicious. Proper BIG food. Took my son and 8 of his friends there for his 13th birthday. Kids had their own table and staff looked after them brilliantly. They all left in food comas. Highly recommended.

The food was very tasty was dissapointed with service we asked if we could swap the mushrooms and tomatoes for a egg as on the menu it doesn’t state the amount of items you get the lady serving said no it will have to be extra which we agreed to and when the food came out there was two eggs on the plate and another plate with two eggs on which is a bit excessive and the bill it was £5 for two extra eggs which we only wanted one hopefully next time the server will let people know they would be getting 4 eggs. The diner is clean and the food is lovely would definitely be back again .

The food was alright, it is not like going to an American dinner in terms of cost or taste. It was fine but forgetful, also pricey and small based on their chosen theme. However the staff were great, really nice and helpful. My main feedback for the restaurant is there is a overall smell of damp, that and the food means I probably wouldn't go back

Good service and food. The wings roulette was fantastic. The whole experience was let down by the overriding smell of a blocked sewer. We would have left if I didn’t have my autistic son with us as finding somewhere else for food would have been too disrupting for him. Couldn’t fault the staff but cannot recommend this place.

Ich war spät abends hier und wurde noch sehr höflich bedient, obwohl in 30 Minuten geschlossen wurde. Der Burger war tatsächlich frisch und sehr lecker. Alles war sauber und ordentlich, das Personal sehr freundlich. ich kann das Diner auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Das Frühstück soll übrigens sehr interessant sein, ich werde es später auch einmal probieren.

We had the breakfast hash. It was really flavoursome but it wasn't what I expected. The dish was mostly made up of peppers with just a few cubed shaped potatoes and chorizo mixed in rather than the home style chips that it stated in the menu. It also said served with eggS sunny side up but only came with one egg. I believe a hash should be mainly potato based rather than pepper based. However, as mentioned, it was still a tasty dish.

Had the Breakfast Hash which looked appetising from the description and when it arrived it was a very well plated dish that looked attractive to eat, but was lacking in the main ingredients. Had the equivalent of 2 whole peppers sliced with a very small amount of Chorizo and potato hash. The flavour was amazing and we finished the whole dish but that's easy when the cheapest and lightest ingredient on the plate is peppers. Also, on the menu it states "Sunny sides up egg(s) but was 1 egg. Need to be clearer about the description as I could have ordered something else and enjoyed it more, especially for our first visit. Hopefully next time will be better!

On entry into the Diner I thought there was a musty aroma. I ordered a combo of wings and ribs plus a Camden Pale Ale. The ribs were nice however the wings weren't great and the Ale tasted a bit flat. I didn't complain about this. Service was OK.

I now understand why the rest of the branches were closed! Never come back here again. Would rather sit at Burger King.

I tried this American's dinner place in Camden, and it was pretty good! The service is very quick, and the food was delicious. They also have beers, but not a huge selection. The place has a nice vibe and cool atmosphere with some NBA games from the 90s on TV.

Plenty of dairy free options aswell as gluten free and vegan, excellent quality food, friendly service and a very tidy and clean establishment. Highly recommended 👍🏻

Bit of a tasteless burger. Mediocre

Just moved to London about 2 months ago and were craving some good ol' diner food. Found this joint online and came out to check it out. The vibe/atmosphere/decor inside is amazing...immediately got us smiling. There was only 3 staff members on duty (on a Sunday afternoon as well!) so they were definitely understaffed. We got the bottomless coffee but because they were shortstaffed I only ever got a second cup. And when I asked for milk it took about 10 minutes before that came so I never finished the second cup. The food was pretty good - the burger was AMAZING...but everything else seemed to be plagued with the British stereotype of not being seasoned enough. We got the chicken/waffles and the full monty - all of it needed more salt. If they were properly staffed I could imagine the entire experience would've been super awesome...

The food was amazing but the women with the glasses on very rude and disrespectful, seen me standing there waiting to pay my bill but just ignored me and served others, then got very rude and argumentative when i pointed out i had been waiting before them, shame because i wont be back because of that poor service

Myself and my wife visited the Diner Friday 15th September and had a lovely meal and I had a fantastic Snickers Shake which was awesome. It was very clean and staff were professional and polite. Highly recommend you visit this diner if visiting Camden Town. 10/10

The food was scrumptious, burgers tasted fresh and flavourful. The waffle fries were cooked perfectly, crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Will definitely return here, especially for the prices as they are affordable!

Sadly we had an less than nice experience. We were grunted at by the member of staff who greeted us. We than shown to a dirty table when most of the tables were empty. After 20 minutes of waiting we got up and left as we were leaving we told the greeter… who responded with not my problem! Awful experience

Dirtiest eating place in London. Disgusting. I do not recommend this place because it’s just dangerous to eat there. We were served with dirty glasses, the chicken burger was prepared with not well cooked spoiled chicken breast. Their bathrooms are 🤮. Avoid this place and stay safe.

Ah, the faux pas of sitting down at an empty table outside (there were several) mid-afternoon on a Sunday without first having gone in to announce our arrival and be seated.. I think the waitress kind of relished giving us a ticking-off, but never mind. It's Camden, I'm sure they get busy. Menus were provided, including kids menus. It took a while to order, but our server was pleasant enough. Odd to have to pay upon order (they can't get many tips with that system!) but it is understandable (and confirmed sotto voce by the waitress) as too many people no doubt do runners without paying in this part of the world. It took a while for the food to come, but drinks were brought promptly, so there was no issue. Cutlery took even longer, however, and we were therefore asked how our food was (as per the script) long before the first bite. On asking for hot sauce, a whole new condiment basket was brought (as per the script, no thinking involved), which didn't really fit on the table; we moved it to the (empty) table behind: another faux pas! So, the food.. decent, but nothing to write home about. Tasty enough, I guess. However, the burger beef patties and chicken fillets were dry, and some of the fries were cold and undercooked. It is expensive, for what it is, but it is Camden and a place like that will never struggle for custom, whether returning or new.

Dirty with slow service and terrible food which NO American Diner would survive serving. The vegan sausage tasted like polenta. Even the bread was bad. The shake was watery and the table next to us were served pancakes twice the size of ours. Maybe because they are teenage boys? Doesn’t matter as they tasted like premix and the syrup was fake. Everything was served cold. Absolutely the worst meal in Camden Town.
