Popped in for a coffee and loved the homely atmosphere. There’s a lovely warm ambiance sitting amongst soft furnishings and enjoying good coffee.

We popped in after we needed somewhere to go while we were waiting for our car tyres to be changed. What a great find in Apsley – we had the Vanilla Sky coffee and borek pastries which were cooked fresh for us! We also liked the addition of the Turkish delight. You can tell there is a great passion for food here and it is coupled by a warm friendly service too. Definitely worth a visit.

We had just had our vaccinations a couple of weeks ago & on the way back to our car we spotted this new cafe so popped in for a quick coffee & ended up staying for over 2 hours! Lovely food and such nice & interesting people with a real passion for food. We’ve been back several times now & are looking forward to a Mediterranean themed evening with music on valentines weekend. Great food, meat, fish & vegetarian / vegan. If you’re in the area give it a try & support a new local business.

108 High Street The Dower House
Pleasant coffee shop on the high street with a lovely range of home made cakes. Allergies and special diets including gluten free and vegan well catered for. We really liked the carrot cake! Friendly and prompt service from staff. Its also an interesting adaptation of an old building.

8 High StreetWe were looking for somewhere in Flamstead where we could meet some friends before walking to Markyate and back. We spotted this coffee shop and were very pleased to have found it. It is obviously enjoyed by locals but we were also made very welcome. The various coffees we had were of excellent quality and flavour. The biscuits we had (including gluten-free for one of our party) were very good. The cakes looked delicious. The lady running it was very friendly. We'll be happy to return.

Chesham RoadWhat a lovely place to come across after a day's walking! Good local cakes and excellent coffee. The friendliest staff I e come across for a long time. I noticed a previous review criticised the cafes bathroom. I have to say how refreshing it was to find a shop/cafe who allows the use of the facilities even to non customers.
