Amazing . I found this place on the last day of my visit to Manchester last year and had been looking forward to returning. I arrived on Monday and ate here every day. The tuna melt is outstanding . Only one thing the cheese could be more melted but it was awesome . Thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait to return .

Simply very tasty with high quality ingredients. Menu is straight forward but caters to anyone's taste buds. You could do so much worse! Ideal for visits to the palace theatre as well 50 yards away.

Visited here on the recommendation of a friend. The only way I can describe it is like a grown up, upper class subway - perfect for a little lunchtime treat. Similar to subway, it offers a range of breads and filings for various prices but, the quality is exceptional. I opted for the New York on Sourdough, toasted ( costing me £7.10) and it was incredible. The employees were all very friendly and attentive despite it being busy. The service was quick and the sandwich are made fresh so I am sure there are options to customise the fillings if needed. Prices ranged based on the sandwich, bread and extras but they started in the region of around £5. Yes, a little more than your supermarket meal deal but it's more than worth it. I'm not from the Manchester area else I'd be here most lunchtimes!! So my only complaint would be that there isn't a R&V in Stoke.

Found this gem through Tripadvisor and will definitely be returning. I would usually have food pics but my Brie and apple was too delicious to faff with that! It was so incredibly fresh, crisp and downright yummy. The ladies were fabulous and I heartily recommend this place. FYI- I was ready with cash as per a previous review but luckily I paid by contactless this time.

Perfect sausage and bacon ciabatta which was toasted so it was super hot! It was paired with a great flat white for a very reasonable £5.75. Cash only.

My go to place for breakfast and lunch. I’m very much for supporting local business’s and when these guys opened a couple of years ago, I made it a mission to try everything on the menu. It’s a fab place, clean and very professional. Defo try ‘Something Spicy’ - Fave!

The sandwiches here are exceptional and full of flavour, this incudes the high quality fresh bread. Will be going back regularly.

Beautifully made sandwiches, incredible taste, lovely atmosphere in the cafe and the staff are super friendly and efficient! Perfect for a lunch out! I would highly recommend the Spanish chorizo, pesto mozzarella or chicken Caesar! Perfect for a catering event too! Will definitely be coming here more often!

I highly recommend this place! The sandwiches are really tasty. The generous filling and the delicious fresh bread make the difference! I also tasted a hazelnut Latte: Yummy beverage that puts you in a good mood :-) And there is a cosy seating area downstairs where you can enjoy your meal - with free WiFi connection, which is a plus.

Called into R&V while visiting Manchester at Christmas time. So much to choose from once inside, fortunately we were helped in our choice from a very helpful assistant called Devon, she suggested some chocolates and wow they were delicious. Will we return. Yes without question next time we are on the area.

I found this cafe by shear accident, but I’m so glad I did. There’s cafe is modern, clean and with a very eye catching display of cakes and chocolates. My girlfriend is a plain eater and they happily accommodated her needs. Great food, coffee, staff and location.

Please forget the big name chains but consider going here. I ordered the tonello which was truly great. It takes a bit of time as nothing is premade. The chocolates are also great, and as you can buy a single one you can have a Belgian chocolates with your coffee.

The old mill on Redhill street is beautifully refurbished and Ancoats Coffee Co held such promise with glass doors , indoor and outdoor dining space, twinkling fairy lights I chose outside in the lovely Mancunian sunshine to enjoy my cake and fresh orange drink, unfortunately this is where things start to go down hill, firstly cash is not accepted in this establishment, plastic is king, my cake looked like an appealing Madeira on its plate, I think it would have given the lovely refurbished bricks a run for their money, hard is too soft a word but not as hard as the seating, I think I am well padded in the posterior but These chairs WOW they were made of a galvanised material so to be expected but couldn’t you have invested in something soft to sit on ! One visit is enough for me. Not a

Located just away from the northern Quarter on great ancoats Street this is a pub we have been using for decades and we always have a great time there. The place is full of history and it is worth a visit just to look at the ceiling alone believe it or not! This particular visit was on a sunny Thursday and the place was busy both inside and out but they still had loads of tables available. They have a fabulous range of drinks at reasonable prices and this is so varied there is definitely something for everyone. Another good thing was they always have loads of stuff on so you get served quickly and in a friendly manner. It was great to sit out in the Sun and enjoy a beer or two whilst watching the busy streets around you at the same time.

Nice relaxed space. Great cuts of steak, fresh and flavourful sauces, crisp hot fries, nice wine and cocktails. Brilliant gluten free options. And all very reasonably priced - steak, chips, sauce, and a glass of wine gave me change from £20! Well worth a casual lunch trip.
