Rustle Up Cafe in Central Bedfordshire

Throughout the years Bella vista has always been one of my favourite places to eat, the food is always well cooked, the staff are always friendly and enjoy a chat with you and it always feels warm and welcoming there.

We had a takeaway last night, the haddock was cooked to perfection and the chips were also cooked to perfection. This is the best place to get gluten free fish and chips

Visited for coffee and cake, apparently this has been taken over recently so the current service does not seem to reflect the previous reviews on this site. We waited for ages for a couple of coffees and cake to be brought over, was also pretty smoky in there from whatever was cooking. Plus point was that the cakes we had were really nice, the coffee was nice but lukewarm and the 15 minutes it took to get them wasn't great. Also, some of the décor is a bit worn out. The place was not busy when we visited mid-morning so could really do a lot better.

Its a lovely location and great that its dog friendly. We found it in the summer for coffee with friends which was excellent. We returned for breakfast and service was so slow we said we wouldn't return. However, we like the place, so returned with friends on Saturday who parked in Waitrose for 90 minutes. We waited a full hour for food by which time our friends had to go and move her car. The waitress was good enough to bring a new tea-cake so it would be hot but the rest of us had eaten our breakfast without her. Had it been our first slow breakfast we have been more forgiving but, despite the delicious bacon, lovely setting and being dog friendly we won't return for a third try.

My son and his wife have recently moved the Potton so this was our first visit to the coach house a lovely pub great atmoshere food was really nice we had Sunday roast and will defo be back
