When I went in the other day , pretty expensive, prices , the girl on the till had a blank expression, just stared me out as I walked in , when I payed she didn’t even give me my change , wasn’t worth kicking off about , Place was clean and the portions were generous .

Fantastic, we were recommended by friends and neighbours to Rumbles for value, quality and price. We were not disappointed. We had Cod and Chips twice and the portion size was amazing. One portion had two pieces of fish and at any other establishment like this, this would have been a usual portion but at Rumbles this is the norm. Fish was very tasty and the chips were cooked to perfection. We both ate all our dinner but we knew we had, we were stuffed full. I have no hesitation in recommending Rumbles for Fish and Chips, Kebabs, Scampi, Chicken deals etc. Large enough car-parking area to be able to sit in your car and eat your fish supper washed down with a nice can of cold drink. Very friendly greeting as I walked in and a cheery goodbye as I left. This all counts towards a great experience with the ambience, staff attitude and overall demeanour of the shop. We will be back and it beats having to drive into Ely.

Wow, amazing fish and chips, absolutely delicious. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We walked along the river bank at Sutton Gault, fab walk and then went for the yummy fish and chips. Highly recommended

63 North StreetWell I have been here several times and gradually become less impressed. This time my King Prawn soup main couse has only 3 prawns and my friends King Prawn green curry also had only 3 prawns . We had a starter and a beer each and the bill was £57 so feel that 6 prawns was a bit short of the mark.

St Mary's StreetDecided on entry to have a drink in the bar. Nobody turned up to take an order. The only misstep. The quality of the restaurant reflected the overall ethos of the hotel. The manager was attentive and helpful, the young staff were insistent on asking how the meal was progressing…better than not asking at all. Of the 4 courses we had, only one was below par, the mains were excellent, the recommended wine very good. All in all, a very good night out.
