Rumbles Fish Bar in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

Food was Decent and was charged £31.30 for our food which when i got home thought was quite a lot, when i added it up on the menu they gave us it came to £19.30, they added £11 on top of our order! will never go back.

Didn't have a reasonable mix of food already cooked. Fish was flaky and pretty tasteless. Service was poor and tries to make you pay in cash, even though they can take card payments if needed.

Good quality fish and chips and not greasy at all. Would recommend anyone looking for good food to stop bye.

Yes good quanity but you can't get things you won't Wen you ask for some chicken they can't put any in it not a bad chip shop but I've had better I can understand not putting slot out but cook it wen people ask for it

I order chips from here and they were cold and dry, it felt like I was eating dry play doh, I would not recommend eating here

This rumbles in Gayton is good but it would be nice if they cooked the fish fresh in front of you. Instead of giving you a curled up bit and chips that were nearly cold 🥶. It was a good job my wife wasn't eating it until the evening or I would have said something worse.

Ordered fish and chips twice and paid by card then noticed I was charged extra to use a card !! I was not told this at the point of ordering ! I had to ask if I been charged, very disappointing !!

Phoned through my order. 1 large cod 1 plaice and a portion of medium chips. Live 1 min around the corner. Sat down to eat as soon as I got home. Meal was stone cold. How does that happen ? Absolutely disgusting. Would not recommend at all.

Great takeaway. Burger meals are very nice, freshly cooked. Chips are lovely too.

Got home to find we were missing a Chicken and Mushroom Pie. This is fairly irritating when you don’t live nearby. Chips didn’t taste as nice as they could have. Prices for fish and chips here are noticeably more than they used to be, and they charge extra if you want to pay with a card!

gave me cold chips with mushy peas instead of curry sauce. i made it very clear i wanted curry sauce so i feel like they knew they didn’t have any and packed it up before i could check they gave me the right item so they still get the money. Chips were tastless even tho i requested vinegar. wouldn’t go back soz x

Popped in to get dinner on my way home, ordered a couple of mixed kebabs. Massive amount of food with delicious homemade chilli sauce. Run by a very polite and lovely family. Never disappoints

One of the best fish and chip shops I've been to. Always try to make a visit when visiting family in the area. Enormous portions of both the fish and the chips. 1 chips feed 2 unless you're very hungry.

Average food..average customer Service..if your very Hungry..it fills a gap..i would hold my hunger..and seek better 6/10

The kebabs were good, the chicken burgers are very good but the cips were soggy and by the time I got home I had a portion of mash potato

Well its sbout the same but went for 8 large cod today and got 8 medeium so not so good

They are very generous with their chips. Fish is well cooked& delicious batter

The staff were helpful and friendly, but the food could be improved. The chips were a little on the anaemic side and might have benefited from a few more minutes in the fryer. The fish was ok, but the batter was not particularly crispy, despite being freshly cooked. The battered sausage might have been off as it didn't taste too good. The portions were generous, but I'm not convinced that was necessarily a good thing.

Weve used Rumbles for many years now. Parking available in the village of Gayton. The fish today was cooked really well but the chips not so good. We don't have the salt as they put it on themselves

Chips were horrible. Tasted like they were cooked in old oil and were old chips. They also had loads of black bits. Should have been zero stars

Popped in on BH Sunday around 6-ish for a couple of cod & chips. The guy even put a sausage in with the order as he reckoned one of the fish was all bit small. Wow! Mahoosive portions we don't know how we ate them all and saving the sausage for lunch tomorrow! Well priced and recommended, thank you.

Has hungry so stopped here, road parking space s out front. Be aware, cash only - sign in door would be handy! Only just had enough cash, usually card now... Good price, huge portion of chips and big sausages so good value. However sausages were ok but have had nicer ones. Tasty enough and weren't hungry after.

Lovely shop and have visited it on many occasions. The portions are the biggest I have ever received in any chip shop and taste great too. They do a wide range of products such as chicken and burgers. Parking is available outside the shop but there are only a small number of places. Would come again if out in this direction.

Bought haddock and chips x 2 with curry sauce £16.20, fish was fried while we waited but hard and brown around edges & tasteless, batter thin hardly coated the fish and just came away also very small, supposed to be large, chips were cold hard and tasteless, curry sauce was passable but nothing to have it with as dogs ended up with a fish and chip dinner also we had a very hard old battered sausage thrown in which we hadn't asked for, looked as if left over from day or two before. Would NOT recommend

Just stopped off for fish and chips on way back to Stoke on Trent one of the best fish I have tasted friendly staff and locals was complimented on my reversing skills😁 would definitely recommend 5***** every day.

Anemic and soft batter. Cheap gravy. Chips are undercooked. Put salt on before the vinegar. Seems to be a free-for-all on who gets served and when.

We haven't tasted chips so good for a long long while, picked up on way back from hospital, carried onto sporle , still perfect, lovely fish too, thank you

Nice chips but the fish is cooked with the skin on, I thought that went out in the eighties.

After you have eaten your meal from here , you will not be hungry till the next day.

Best local chip shop with all the best food, been going to since i was a small child, friendly people and all round good service!

The food is lovely the staff are very helpful always busy you have to visit them if your in the area.

Good portion sizes great value but at 6pm they wouldn't cook any more chicken wasn't sure that was good for business will deffo eat there again though for sure

Got my order wrong called when home to discuss it and the owner hung up on me so i went back to the shop and he laughed at me! Awful manner!
