The whole place is in need of some serious TLC, from the car park to outside spaces, chairs dirty, toilets poor ,whole vibe of the pub is very very tired...2 friendly young lad's serving behind the bar was the only plus point

10 outta 10. Great for family's, kids, a post work bevvy, anything from a wake, baby shower, bingo, disco, rave night, karoke, party night. It's clean tidy, has a fenced in grass beer garden, and another gravel suntrap of a beer garden, carparking a bouncy castle, great food and drink. Fab place, great people, great pints.!

Omg, talk about Ramsey's Kitchen nightmares. Absolutely shoddy carvery. Had to leave it. Disgusting food. Poorly prepared, presented and dished up. Bay Marie with lids all on... Each lid had to be touched by every single customer. Disgusting. Will be contacting the local food hygiene and health board. Utensils too hot, no regular fare ready such as roast potatoes. Cramped environment with no room to move and worst of all cost over £50 for 2 adults and 2 children. Just horrible. First time ever been there. Will never be going back.

Upon entry the bar stinks of wet dog and urine that's in the carpet. There were several dogs running freely around the venue and one being chased by it's owner. Decor is basic, place is dirty. Wouldn't consider eating here. Yuck.

We came here for a wake for a family member. It was a great location. They had put on a great spread of food and the service was great and quick. Lots of space for everyone inside and out. Really appreciated being able to hold it there as it was convinient. Lots of parking too.

Made to feel very welcome, burgers were amazingly juicy, pie's, fish and chips all very nice, the Sunday carvery was 10/10 highly recommend the couliflower cheese (best I ever had) Ali and Kevin have a great team of staff working alongside them keeping the operation running very smoothly.

Unfortunately we cannot rate this pub at all. We have visited twice, first time last year as according to Facebook they had a 2for1 offer on that night, on arrival we were told the offer was actually the following night. The second time we phoned to ask when food was served and were told 12 noon to 8pm. We arrived around 3pm and sat down in the restaurant only to be informed that food is not served until 5pm. We were told that the brewery told them they cannot serve food in the afternoon. I cannot imagine that we would trust this pub for a 3rd visit

Dint feel very welcome at all. There was 12 of us and you would think they would be happy for the custom.... but nope !!!!

Went for a mother's meal today and must say how disappointed we were. Carvery didn't look that great, mushy veg , tastless and potatoes were not normal, burnt and some of them undercooked. Overall meal was cold. Not to mentioned the meat was very thinned slices and not much of it for the cost we paid for a meal. Cauliflower cheese had a weired taste. Not great atmosphere, at least the cartons on telly was okay for kids. It was a lazy made Carvery with no attention to make enjoyable for the customers. Its overpriced for what it is. Shall not return.

We parked our motorhome here overnight in the large carpark. Really friendly and helpful staff, good pub food too, at a very reasonable price. Quiet nights sleep. Dog friendly. Will return when in the area!

Stopped here on the off chance on our way into kings Lyn from the hospital, looking for lunch. What a find. Lovely unfussy home cooked food. Fresh tasting, welcoming friendly staff. Stop for lunch, you won’t be disappointed with the spag Bol.

Had lunch and was freshly prepared and very good. Service was excellent.

We had a family Sunday carvey and managed to get a table at short notice. The bar staff, obviously new, took a little time to sort out order out, but we got there eventually. When we went to the Carvery, we had a choice of two meats, which both looked very well cooked. There was a good selection of vegetables, which again we're very well cooked. Overall an excellent meal for a great price. The deserts looked really nice, I just wish I had some room for one. We will definitely go back again another time.

We went into the Wildfowler for a drink and ended up having Fish and Chips, wow, what can I say fantastic, freshly cooked Fish and Chips, absolutely gorgeous, highly recommended! Well worth a visit!!! Thank you.

We had our office Xmas party at The Wildfowler last night. It was fantastic, the food was beautiful, the staff lovely and the band topped the evening off nicely! I’ll definitely be back :)

Quiet whilst we were in there. Shut down now. We understand the landlord could no longer swallow the tax rises. Staff in good spirits, despite it being their last shift.

Very nice food is always hot and plentiful. The bar staff are very friendly and welcoming and it's a very nice place to go with the family. Would definitely recommend it, and if you haven't been, then I would definitely say you should pay it a visit even if it's only for drinks

Sunday Carvery was not bad.the Beef was superb.but the Gravy could have been a bit thicker and smaller chopped and roasted potatoes.otherwise a pleasant meal with Great service and hospitality.

After searching Google for dog friendly eateries near Sandringham Camping and Caravan Club site we stumbled across this pub. Very glad we did. Food was fantastic, good choice on the menu, all cooked fresh. Big portions. We visited twice as it was such good value for money and delicious food. If we lived closer we'd definitely visit more often. Dogs are allowed inside the pub. The staff were very welcoming. Thank you!

What a shame, spoilt by a few stood at the bar making a lot of noise and swearing at the top of there voice!! Looks a lovely place and the food looked good but couldn't put up with insult to the ears!!

Just popped in while passing for a drink and a snack. The chicken in a basket and BLT where very high quality and served with a smile.

Booked a table out of the blue and stopped in the next day (Sunday) for their Carvery. Good contemporary British Pub, dog friendly, lovely engaging staff, and just the most proper food served up: four empty plates demonstrated that even the Kids loved it!! Nicely done.

Several things not available to eat as menu changing,double booked so small table in bar,drunken man making alot of noise,staff were apologetic and pleasant.

The pub is situated on the edge of King's Lynn in Gaywood village. The atmosphere is warm helped by the friendly team who run the pub . The menu has lite bites plus a full menu. Our group of 5, including 2 veggies, loved the food. We only had mains. 2 veggie pies (sweet potato, feta cheese) and a steak and ale pie. Pastry was crisp and was a proper pie with a base & lid! The steak was soft and the gravy deep and rich. Lots of veggies and the chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. The pork and chorizo burger was packed full of flavour with perfectly cooked fries. The lasagne was cheesy and rich with garlic bread and a tasty salad. This was home cooked food, good value and we had a nice experience. We will be back next time we are in the area.

We went to this pub for the 1st time on Sunday for the carvery as I was told the food was very good but in fact the food was excellent, nicely priced and the staff so helpful and friendly. I was not expecting much as the pub did have a bad reputation but the new management have done a fantastic job the pub very clean and the decor inside and out has been updated to a high standard and all the staff were very friendly would recommend for a meal in a family safe environment or just for a drink and relax in the outside sitting area.

Staff were friendly and the roast was delicious, the meat was so tender, nice homemade, gravy and Yorkshire puddings. The only complaint is that the roast potatoes were not crispy. , if they were crispy I think I'd give it 5 stars

Actually really enjoyed this place. Food portions was absolutely huge, and cooked very well (pub grub style). Service was good also and locals are friendly. Also we went on a Wednesday which is buy on burger get one free which added to the good value for money.

Came to this area for a staycation for my birthday. Nice and quiet family pub with kind staff who can match your energy. Loved it

Lovely friendly service. Great social distancing measures. Had a super meal, which was VERY reasonably priced. A delicious fillet steak served with mushrooms, spinach, fries and grilled tomatoes for £13. The steak was cooked rare as I'd asked for and tasted chargrilled and extremely delicious. Only wish there had been an option of peppercorn sauce to make it perfect. Although the steak was so succulent it certainly wasn't dry or flavourless. My daughter's chicken burger was delicious too. The bun was nicely toasted and it was a lovely piece of breadcrumbed chicken breast, beautifully seasoned and deep fried. Lots of fries and salad and two lovely big pots of mayo and BBQ sauce. The whole meal with two pints of Coke came to £28! A bargain for such generous portions. The menu had about 15 varied options including a bargain lamb shank, which I will probably try next time. They also offer basket meals for just £5! Toilets were lovely and clean. Decor is country style and lovely, but beginning to show wear and tear in places. You could hear people enjoying the football in the main bar from the restaurant and the lovely man apologised, but it was not disturbing us and added to the friendly, jolly, comfortable feel of the whole place. Will definitely be returning!

While the food was good it wouldn't bowl you over, prices weren't bad but we did ask for no salad and ended up with this weird salad with melon and a dressing that was also on some chips. There is however a lovely play area for kids and the owners were nice people.
