Terrington Fish Bar in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

Food generally ok here, only complaint was that 4 kebabs cost me £52!!!!!, thought I’d been over charged until I checked the prices, £16.50 for a large lamb shish….really!!!! Certainly won’t be using them again in a hurry, works out cheaper to get it delivered from elsewhere

Awesome tasting food, not the cheapest of takeaways in the area, but I've never had a bad meal. There will most likely be a que as it's very popular, but it does go down quickly. You help yourself to the drinks before you pay at the till. It's open till late soo you should have no problem there. Chips were crispy and fluffy inside, which is the best type of chips for me They also do chicken, kebabs, burgers, salads, and potatoes, too. Disabled access is very acceptable with a gradual ramp with hand rails. Garlic mayo is very watery

The only reason that I have given a 3 is that I think its a but pricey. £17.90 for two pieces of cod and one portion of chips. To be fair, it doesn't matter whether you order one or two portions of chips they are both the same. Cards are accepted, but just like Turkish barbers and nail bars, they always say "cash preferred". Read into that what you will.

Asked for chicken to be told I can’t untill 4pm.. why is it on the menu then when you open all day any way ?? Won’t be going there again and the staff are very rude

Just visiting the area, but really pleased with the fish,as it was cooked perfectly. There was a decent amount of chips and the only improvement would be to triple cook them. 😁 There were lots of people in there, but we didn't have to wait very long for our food. Would definitely visit the place again, but our friends are moving away, so probably won't get the chance.

If you want a cold inedible kebab go to this place . Totally disgusting

Awful, has gone massively down hill. Ordered large cod and chips with curry sauce and mushy peas. Asked for a kids fish bites and chips was told no. I asked why they asked chef who just said no and said I can have a medium fish.. at £7 alone no thanks. Fish was chucked on the chips not even seperate, was soggy and so over cooked we gave it to our cats! Curry sauce is watery with no flavour and mushy peas are bland and cheap, straight out of a tin. They also got annoyed when paying with card... they still advertise taking it but shouted at me saying, next time cash yea!! How about you take card, keep customers, pay your taxes and increase prices slightly if you are having to pay a fee to use a card machine. Don't worry about next time... there won't be a next time. Awful food. Awful service.

Won't accept card payment even though they have card machine, not cash point local. Rude staff, don't know how they get customers, with rude and unprofessional attitude.

Fish n chips ok but getting expensive. Also they only the cash from next week.

Was good 12 months ago. Meat declined and the final nail in coffin . It decided on cash only payments. Pay your taxes like the rest of us

Great friendly staff, quick service with a wide menu of items to choose from. The portion sizes are very generous to the point of being too much to cope with, if you go for a large fish & chips be warned you need a very healthy appetite to complete this challenge.

Very helpful and polite, reasonable prices but telephone ordering is not available. Have to go in the actual shop and wait for ages to get your order.

Absolutely shocking food COLD & disgusting when I complained they said it's cause it's with mayonnaise and salad ??? Chicken was rubbery & prob cooked a few hours ago ?? Wouldn't believe customer didn't like the chicken wrap meal won't go back I suggest you don't either

Awful absolutely Awful kebab meat in boxes had about half a mug full of oil/fat in them.i appreciate the lamb or whatever it is is greasy but the amount of oil was unacceptable chips okay and potato wedges okay.if I go there again I will ask them to wring out the meat first before it goes in box ..if I go there again

1 of the best pieces of fish and portion of chips I've eaten in a very long time!! Will DEFINITELY be going back. I do wish they could take phone orders, but service was relatively quick, so I was only waiting for a little over 10 minutes. Food was so freshly cooked, it was still hot by the time I got it home (12 minute drive away). Highly recommended to everyone!

Best local chippy. Do a good kebab. Chips are always hot. Fish, burgers etc are all nice too. Out of 5 times only 1 time was average, other 4 times were really good. So we're happy with the quality and will come back again!

Bit of a wait outside in the queue, but the food is excellent.

Very two faced staff - would not accept our telephone order that required being specially cooked, but whilst we were waiting for our food they accepted a telephone order and started cooking it! When questioned about it they just started talking in another language - very, very rude, not professional at all and dreadful customer service - such a shame because our experience could have been so different. From now on we will definitely going elsewhere and recommending others do the same.

Why have a card machine and refuse to take card for a 30 quid order sending us to nearest cash machine which is wisbech!!!

Popped in with sister to grab tea, as it was late and we didn't wanna cook. Am glad we did!! I had fish bites, chips, curry and peas. What can I say? The fish was amazing! Cooked just right, and the batter was light and tasty. The chips wer plentiful, and the curry sauce was great. But the peas! Sweet, and salty, and perfect!! I thoroughly enjoyed it and finished every bit of it!! Defo coming back!! Well done guys!!

First time we went here we decided to order large portions of chips instead of standard, BIG MISTAKE, we ended up with enough chips to feed the street lol slightly dearer than most chip shops but if you want decent quality the extra you pay is definitely worth it, brilliant quality and exceptional staff AAA+++

The service was spot on. Food cooked to order and piping hot. You hot a very large portion of chips. Will return if we're in the area again.

Be aware 6 pieces of chicken and just one portion of chips was more than enough for two people. Chicken very moist and had left overs for the next day. Brill friendly service and good value for money!
