We really enjoy Rumbles. The kebabs are fantastic and the chips are delicious. The staff are great too. It’s all really efficient. The only draw back is the saveloys. I’m not sure if it’s the supplier of the saveloys or maybe they’re stored in water, but they taste like water. We’ve tried them a few times over the past 4/5 months, hoping it was a one off.l but it’s not. Would be great if this could be resolved :)

You will not be disappointed, fantastic fish and chips !!!!( and I am f&c snob at times) . Not the cheapest fish and chips but the amount you get is insane ( not sure if f&c in general are cheap anymore anywhere anyhow ). Fish tastes and looks fresh every time . Staff is super friendly, very accommodating and greets you with a smile every time . I will be returning for sure

Waited a long time for a fish & chip shop on the estate and the only criticism I’d have is that it’s a bit pricy, but probably get away with it as it is convenient, just means you’d probably not use it as often. I wish them well.

OMG what has happened to this place in such a short period of time. The portions sizes have gone from plentiful to child size! Don't think I will bother getting a kebab from here every again.

Had lunch here, staff were helpful and pleasant, the food was okay but not exceptional. The setting is quiet with a slight nod to the 1940's. Not sure about the green neon light in the alcove but it was an adequate lunch.

We booked Afternoon Tea as a 65th birthday celebration, our slot was 12.30 for one and a half hours. The finger sandwiches were cheese spread with cucumber and ham and piccalilli which was not to my taste. The scones and sweet treats were nice as was the tea and coffee. However, at just before 1.30pm I requested a second round of drinks and was told by the waitress that she would bring them, but we had to be gone in 10 mins as the slot was only for one and a half hours. My husband was not at the table at that moment and I wasn't sure what the time was or how long we had left so I didn't argue the point, but felt that as we were still well within our time slot it was rude of them to rush us out considering the cost of the Afternoon Tea is on the expensive side. Given that we were made to feel unwelcome, I do not think we will revisit the Orangery, which is a shame a it is in a lovely location. Also, for anyone with mobility problems, it is quite a trek from the car park.
