McDonald's in South Norfolk

Same as any other McDonald’s now. Nice interior , screens to order food yourself and can choose the option of table service or collect. Children’s play area / tables outside. They forgot our desserts when we went through the drive through so had to get out and get them , which defeats the point of a drive through.

Food was great, missed off the straws for our milkshake though.

Today, once again, we stopped eating at McDonald's. We ordered 1 children's menu and 2 for adults. As always. The food was good but the service was terrible. From the menu, the order was with a barrel, and they put a cheeseburger instead of a toy book, and the fruit juice was missing. Instead of sitting down to eat, we took a walk to correct the employees' mistakes. They need to take the orders more seriously.

Not a great McDonald's this one. I have used it on numerous occasions, usually as a takeaway during working hours. Often the fries are cold and the burgers likewise. The latest visit confirmed this when I visited on the way home from the cinema. Upon opening my bag the fries were cold and the burger so lukewarm that the cheese hadn't melted at all. Very poor. Staff seem to try hard but there must be a management problem here even after the recent franchisee change!

Always a welcome stop after a busy day

Visited on 16th April with grandaughters....not impressed. Tables without numbers for ordering, no printers working for receipts, having to stand for what seemed an age near the counter waiting for a tray with our order on. This branch is normally worth visiting, but will go elsewhere in future.

Visited at weekend. Parked easily. No queue when ordering. Although tables were clear they had not been wiped and were dirty. I had to use hand sanitizer on napkin to wipe. Bin was overflowing in restaurant. It had items sticking out of bin. Two staff members walked past and looked at ut but no one attempted to change it. Food was nice and chips hot. Cleanliness to be improved.

Finally, a not so busy day! We ordered inside and it was nice and quiet and relaxing. The food was fresh too. A nice change, as fish fingers can often be very dry.

Used the drive through so cannot comment on the atmosphere. The service was very good and the food better than the other McDonalds I have been to.

Has to be the best McDs in the area, team is organised, food is fresh and hot, wait times appropriate for the amount customers, staff seem busy but well staffed

Don’t bother with the Minecraft meal, they don’t have the collectibles, they don’t have the sauce, but they’ll happily sell you the meal with an enhanced cost to you and charge for extra while. It providing any of the special items. Not the first time I’ve been scammed by this branch.

Staff missed some iteams. Wated at the till but no one came for a long time.

Terrible phone signal and WiFi is poor. If you're intending to use the app for codes etc, then try loading it in the carpark before entering

Ordered food from here it came in a sealed bag with items missing called them and not even an apology. It took them an hour from delivery person arriving to collect food before it arrived, it was an 8 min drive. 2hrs total from order to delivery and items missing, food also poor quality. Terrible service

Friendly and helpful staff. The temperature of food was not at its best but it was edible.

Had my meal in. Burgers and chips were cold staff didt seem to bothered about it.

Every time I order half my order is missing it be okay if I was at the place but I ordered to my home so I don't have come in and 3 times now half my order has bin missing never again same restaurant every time dinner time and breakfast and still they can't get the order rite

Absolutely ridiculous. Spent 2 hours there working with several drinks and food ordered, and get a parking fine. Yes, there are tiny signs up. No, I've never read them because why would it be an issue for paying customers to park for as long as they're using the restaurant? £100 parking fine to eat here?

It was really busy. No parking. Food was good and not chucked into the bag as you'd expect from mcd.

Busy site with inadequate parking for in-store diners. No menu surprises, very busy drive-thru which also blocks car park area. Clean floors n tables are a credit to the young staff. This one situated on the major A11/A47 junction S of Norwich City.

This was a Deliveroo order however the food took nearly an hour and a half to arrive, it naturally arrived cold. Some of the order was missing. We had already called and told it was on the way, it wasn’t! We watched the Deliveroo app take our food across the other side of Norfolk to drop of another order before coming our way! It’s ain’t cheap these days and cold food just isn’t good enough!!

Fast food Maccys, if you've been in one then they are all pretty much the same. Food was OK although it never seems very hot if you dine in.

So I came here after a 12 hour shift for a breakfast and ordered a double sausage egg McMuffin in which I had found a hair on my hash brown. Chrissy who was the lobby cleaner I think really caught my attention as she was quick to ask me if everything was okay beings I had left my hash browns. She offered me a compensation drink or food to apologize for the low standard I had originally received. I am very thankful to you Chrissy! Keep up that wonderful positive attitude!

This is undoubtedly the most rundown Mac I've ever seen! Driving past makes it seem slightly better since you can’t see the interior. However, if you go inside, you’ll be greeted by a chaotic kitchen serving fast slow food! The place is cluttered with delivery companies, and for some strange reason, half of it is closed! Inside resembles a chicken coop, with constant red alarms going off, yet no one is taking orders. The tops of the shelves are a complete mess! I usually only stop by for the ice creams, and just to get two scoops, I found myself waiting around 15 minutes. I do pop in occasionally, but I wouldn’t trust their actual food. They really need a manager!

Ordered on line and went to collect items checked all items were there boxes ie burgers then arrived home to find that both mcplant burgers had no patty in them. I drove from Wymondham to McDonald's then back again only to return to complain. Service was absolutely disgusting. Person who served me did not understand what I was saying so showed her the mcplant burgers in boxes without patties again did not seem bothered and manager asked if I was ok and when I replied I was not and I was disappointed and disgusted and explained, nothing was said no apology or offer. All the young people working there appeared to not give a s..t about the customers at all. But to have two burgers prepared without patties is beyond a joke. We will not be coming to that Macdonald's any time soon. Felt that the manager could have offered us something for free. But NO appeared not to care. Service was frankly atrocious.

Poor attention to detail such as always forgetting cutlery so food is cold by the time you have waited at the counter! There needs to be a bell to get attention in the evenings!

It's your usual Mcdonalds. We have used the drivethru on numerous occasions and staff are always polite and friendly. Just wish McDonald's would sort their app out as it keeps crashing

£100 fine for parking !!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would . I overstayed by 5 minutes in the car park and was sent a bill of 100 pounds for the privilege. On this occasion my daughter had an accident so we had to change her and she has adhd and didn't want to get changed.

Popped in here for breakfast. It’s not ideal if you’re in a long vehicle or HGV but I managed to turn and park on the entrance road. A bit of a wait for my order and one of the other customers waiting was given the wrong food and had to argue/prove it! Overall, room to improve but ok considering the price point. Handy location.

Really nice McDonald's. Food great, did well to serve fast in the busy environment and staff friendly. My only complaint, they could be checking empty tables and cleaning them more regularly

Clean and good fresh food mostly. As is in a service station before entering Norwich rimes can make it very busy to visit making some delays in food

They seem to have Sussed how to serve food hot… so, much better. Fries still taste like cardboard. Best fast food.

Click and serve order including 2 x teas. Got up the road only to find no milk or sugar. Really poor service there guys.

Almost classy inside, the remodel here looks good, large outside seating area. The food was quick and hot, and my order was correct. Very, very clean, inside and out, a very good example

Once ordered the sign above the collection point said my order was being prepared, along with two other orders in the que. After only a couple of minutes, the screen displayed that my order was now ready for collection. This was along with about twelve other orders. It then took possibly five minutes to collect as some òrders were very large, and deliveries seemed to take priority.

Regularly use this outlet, and standards are very high overall. I also found all the staff have been really helpful, especially when the app or screens have been playing up. It gets very busy at peak times due to its prime location and reasonably sized parking and drive-thru.

Visited today, ordered a McCrispy meal had to wait 5 plus minutes for it, burger was ok chips were not Hot I Asked why I had to wait as I did a drive through was told it's busy in the restaurant. Typical fast food for the masses.

I don't eat the food but my 10 year old does. The things we do for our kids.

We had to wait in bay for our order we parked up in carpark straight after getting order and it was stone cold this is 3rd visit and food being luke warm or cold. The burgers looked like they had been thrown together not very appetising we a long time before we go again

It's a MaccyD's, Nuff saud normally. But on my last visit they'd run out of soft drinks of all varieties, shakes for everyone cost a fortune...

Place was clean and tidy but had a long wait for food which was tepid at best when I finally received it. Young lad serving clearly couldn't be bothered. Just dumped the bag on the side, mumbled a number and walked off. Several people had to inquire which order number it was because absolutely nobody heard him. Like a lot of other McDonald's, not worth the money today.

We waited for 25 minutes for food from ordering. My wife asked for it to be chased twice. When my wife eventually bought it to our table, the hot food was no longer hot and the McFlurry was melting. My wife was losing patience by now and asked a member of staff to take the lot away and replace it. The young chap was very apologetic and duly took it away. Another ten minutes or so and the replacement came back but was short of one burger. As for the atmosphere - it’s a McDonald’s! I think I’ve probably said enough now.

Quick drop in after work, food and service were both brilliant, only downfall is that whoever packed my food banged the chips in the bag upside down.

Saturday evening. 9ish. Took 20 mins for 3 normal hamburgers, 3 milkshakes, all milkshakes had other flavours mixed in, half strawberry 1/2 banana, chocolate with a hint of strawberry, vanilla with a hint of strawberry. obviously staff messing about thinking it's funny. McDonald's is quickly going south. Noticed the service and quality is getting poor especially the Norwich and Lowestoft ones

Absolutely awful food came cold my friend bit into chicken nugget it was cold tbe coffee came cold the staff didnt really bother just changed it to be honest it seemed reheated Absolutely disgusting food cold we had a problem here a few weeks before with drive through the food served cold emailed the manager she never got back to us so going to head office and health aand safety

Food is good, however, they have repeatedly forgotton to deliver us items. Twice they have forgotton a burger, and the third time they forgot to give us 2 lots of fries. The fact that this is repeat issue is very aggravating and deters us from ordering McDonalds.

A burger in Norwich tastes the same as one from Norway.

We had breakfast for the first time here . Had been in for dinner on new year eve and was good. This time the only thing that could be better on our breakfast, was some of the items were too fried like the hashbrown and slices of bread and the black pudding was quite dry . Orange juice was amazing . Apart from that , service good , the girls were happily friendly 😊

Arrived here to have a quick dinner with my family. Food was ok but tables were very dirty, lots of rubbish on the floor around tables. Interesting that in this time 4 crew members just walked around and talked to each other.

Perfect restaurant great food great service But watch your parking if you don't want a £100 fine.

Car park full, pay machine not working so it invalidated my monopoly pieces (and I had to order again on another machine). No clean tables.

These guys always forget to add napkins in your take away bag…

Worst fast food experience ever. Had to wait a long time for orders. Food was cold and mediocre. Then copped a £60 parking fine for exceeding stay by a few minutes. Won't be back.

App did not work. Food from Drive Through had missing items and drinks also missing. Gluten free amounts to a dry beef patty and no bun. Terrible

Average quality food, unfortunately was given someone elses order at Drive-thru which obviously had to be swapped. For a change there were alot of staff, but no organisation at all - Mgt fault not general staff! Overall, it is McD, so can't really expect high standards, seeing as Quality is very low on their Menu!

As Mc Donald’s go it’s an ok one, normally very busy and staff seem friendly but rushed off there feet most of the time!!! toilets are clean and tidy most of the time but always feel like they need more staff at busy points in the day and evening

Quick visit for lunch whilst in at a track day, usual experience with simple ordering, quick food delivery and the restaurant was clean with space to sit down. There was quite a queue to get in the car park.

Quite literally the worst experience I’ve ever had in McDonalds they incorrectly explain the meals and prices then try and confront you after the fact of them messing up on your order The staff were very impolite and aggressive towards me and triggered a reaction due too my condition when I had reacted I got smirks and dirty looks and was threatened too have the authorities called on me for a mistake that wasn’t of my own!
