This used to be my favourite restaurant in Gillingham but wow it has certainly gone downhill. The food was awful a lot of it was cold and it was tasteless. There were 5 of us we ordered one sharing platter between us which we mostly left as it wasn't nice. We ordered the duck and just returned the whole thing. We only ordered 4 mains between us and ate hardly any of it, the chicken was dry and had an odd taste, the steak in the weeping tiger was like shoe leather. The bill came to 93.00 and their card machine didn't work so had to go to cash point. We will not be returning .

Food was amazing. Great flavours, all cooked fresh. All u can eat menu cooked on demand. Such friendly service. Lovely meal. Thank you.

Hot tasty food, great service and menu choices, always really nice for a midweek treat as they offer so much variety, it is a hidden gem

'First time we've been here since the recent new owners & 'refurbishment'! Although we booked - Only 3 of us - (No need, as it was empty, although we did go early - 6.30 pm. Nobody else - other than delivery/takeaway drivers arrived during our stay) The lady who greeted us said she had no record of our booking! She seemed preoccupied with prepping tables etc (whilst mentioning that it was quiet) & I got the impression that we'd interrupted her, as it was a little while before she actually attended to us? Eventually, we were given menus & we ordered (Inc. drinks) & the drinks & food all came within an acceptable time. The food was delicious & we all enjoyed it, but the (recently refurbished?! - cheap 'tosh-over') decor is (IMHO, as a professional in property maintenance) very poorly done & looks very untidy/rough! Poorly 'hung' dark grey wallpaper (with large, visible White joints) above even more poorly applied 'cheap & nasty' looking (plastic ?) White wall panels/tiles, many of which are already coming off! The (White - 'ish') ceiling doesn't look like it has been painted for some time?! Added to this, the wall light near our table (which was, in addition to the surface-mounted ceiling spotlight above, simply plugged into a socket via a visible & ugly cable running up the surface of the wall!) had a glaringly bright White LED bulb in it, which highlighted the poor decor even more & certainly didn't contribute to a comfortable atmosphere, which overall somewhat spoilt the experience for me, particularly as it was my wife's 60th birthday meal! Maybe I'm just being fussy/overcritical, but we'll probably just have a takeaway next time?

We have been to reuthai previously and had a lovely evening however our visit yesterday was dreadful. It took over an hour for the food to arrive and when it did it came bit by bit. One person had completely finished her food before the rest of us even had rice which was cold. Do not go here

We ordered via just eat and what a shocking experience it was. Food arrived late cold and damaged. The curry had spilt all over the bag and into the other food which ruined the other dishes and worse of all we was missing our rice. We phoned and was told it was checked by 3 staff and that we should see ticks on the receipt where he has checked it however no ticks on the receipt. Spoke to the manager who had the worse attitude and accused me of stealing rice…… who steals rice!!! Joke I’ll never order from here again and would urge people not to. They made no effort to rectify this at all and blamed the driver for not being careful. Stated they would be unable to send rice even if they wanted too. Happy to be on just eat but less happy to provide a good service

The food was incredible! Best Thai food I have ever had. The ribs just fell off the bone and at some points quite literally, shout out to T who was an amazing server, we really appreciated you. Starters we had Chicken satay Chicken wings Ribs Crispy duck Fish cakes Mains: Egg fried rice Sweet and sour pork & chicken A Thai curry I can’t remember the name Chow mein pork and chicken And some other dishes

My husband and I order food from Reunthai weekly - their food does not disappoint. The flavours are spot on and portion size adequate. Our personal favourites are the duck pancakes and Thai green curry - both are comparable to what you would get served in Thailand. Delicious food and great service!!

Ordered a takeaway from Reunthai as it was a restaurant we were passing on our way home from the hospital and we love Thai food but there isn’t one really close to us so we took this opportunity. Ordering was easy, food was well priced but it wasn’t the tastiest of Thai food. Can’t say it was bad or horrible but it didn’t blow us away either. Normally, I’m loving Thai food whilst I’m eating it but this time, it just didn’t quite hit the spot. Shame really as the restaurant looked really nice inside so we were hoping this could be a regular outing for us but alas, it’s not to be.

Went quite late at night, the restaurant and staff were very inviting despite this. Great food and lovely tranquil atmosphere. I recommend the Thai red curry. Good prices too!

Some really nice different dishes, the steak in them is great quality. Would certainly recommend. Delivery normally pretty quick too.

The lady doing the booking was not very friendly and kept stressing that they want the table back after two hours. We went during the "eat out to help out scheme" and so very good value for money. The food itself was mediocre at best. The waiter (young teenager) kept on pulling up his trousers. None of the staff were wearing any PPE and although they had alcohol gel, we did not see them use it at anypoint. We asked for straws and the said waiter brought it with thesame fingers he was just pulling his trousers up with and dropped it in our drinks. Overall, i don't think i'll be going back there.

This place might not be much to look at from the outside, but it is the food that counts and that really hits the mark. Was a bit sceptical when I saw that there was an “all you can eat” option as that normally means quantity over quality, but have to say the standard of all the dishes was of a really good standard. Only thing not included was the salads and Chef’s specials (and alcohol). Starters were your standard offerings and were a little bit samey as nearly everything was deep fried, but the fish cakes were really nice. We then had the duck course, which I associate more with Chinese, but it was good nonetheless. We followed this with a mixture of curries, stir fries, seafood dishes, rice and Pad Thai, and as we were a large-ish group we were able to sample many dishes without feeling like we were over-ordering. Overall really good food with a bargain price tag

Good value for money, enjoy getting a takeaway you get so much more for your money. Food is delicious and I have tried other thai restaurants in Medway and this one definitely has the best tasting food.

We took an early Sunday evening meal here, not busy at all but it was only 6pm. The food was delicious, spicy but not too hot, so much nicer than a bland Chinese meal. 4 starters, soups to die for, salad great and ribs were meaty and tasty.Sizzling filet steak was one of the mains, curry to follow, 3 rounds of drink including pints of Carlsberg (the only draught, pity nothing better available) plus wines total bill just over £70! Amazing value.

This Modest little restaurant hides some wonderful Thai cuisine. The menu is varied and offers something for everyone. Not the place to go for fast food, or a meal to start the evening; this is the main course. We were able to relax, and eat at our leisure. Perfect for an intimate, authentic and delicious meal for two.

Gorgeous meal last night, friendly staff and delicious food. The fish in chilli was the highlight, we even ordered a takeaway as well!

This is only a smallish restaurant on a shopping street, but there is parking around the corner, about a 2 minute walk of that. They have several set meals, al you can eat, and two course. Good size portions and very good food with a large selection on dishes. Drinks are not too expensive either. It is quite in the week when we go, so do not know about weekends, but you can book a table by phone.

This is great place to visit if you have all the time in the world - order a drink when you have half a glass left so that you are not waiting ages for your next drink! Buffet Thursday is great but it is just far too slow.

First visit on a busy night, slow service but excellent food when it arrived. Spoke to owner when paying the bill , they are adding more staff. This is worth a visit and I will return

We went here to give it a try. The tables are well spaced out considering its a small narrow restaurant. The service was slow at times but the staff are very friendly and obliging. All the food we ate was excellent and the portion sizes are good too. No draught beer as they said the had run out but bottled lager. The house red is drinkable and reasonable price too. We will return we felt very welcome and liked the small size.

Twice now this place has cancelled takeaway orders, without calling to explain why, terrible service and won't be using them ever again.

This is a modest restaurant on Waling Street in Gillingham but well worth a visit. It is much improved since our initial visit a few years ago.

Waited ages for our drinks order to be taken, once ordered we waisted ages for our starters. We had the vegetable tempura and the fish cakes. The veg tempura was lovely but I’m not actually sure what the fish cakes were. They looked like some kind of sausage patty . We then waited more than half an hour for our starters and had to ask how long they’d be. The pad Thai smelt like dried dog food and was literally inedible. The chicken curry was terrible and the Singapore rice wasn’t too bad but very spicy. Crispy duck was okay but very dry and the cucumber was like rubber. Was so dry it was unreal. The staff were okay but the food was so terrible my partner has been really unwell from it so we won’t be returning and certainly won’t recommend

Decided to order the take away food from Reunthai rather than sit in and wasn't disappointed. Wow is all I can say. Its the same quality and the portions are immense. It is now a weekly treat to order for FREE!!!! from here. Gone are all the other Chinese leaflets we get posted through our letter box. The service is prompt and always earluier than we expected. A faultless service.

I have used this restaurant several times now and I felt the food, service had gone down hill. HOWEVER I am so pleased to say the new management has turned it around!!!

Absoulutely loved this place! This was my first time having Thai, me and my partner ordered the All we can eat option! We had the duck and prawn steamed dumplings and had to just order more! Everything tasted lovely, no issues at all! Will definitely be coming back soon! Staff were all friendly and very attentive!

Although the food was lovely and the staff were great and friendly we both got our startes and mains at diffeent times. In fact I had to ask for my starters it took so long. It was also Valentines day and wanted to select from the Valentines menu but no veggie. So we asked the waitress and she went to asked the chef and she came back no. I do find this very poor and I can't think of anywhere in years I have been where there is no veggie. Next time you have a specialm event can you have a vegetrian option or we simply will not be visiting afain. Such a shame as they had gone to a lot of trouble to shape the napkins as roses and have hearts on the table.

What a lovely place. Lovely food, lovely staff. Would recommend to everyone. Really enjoyed the evening and for the amount of food and drink we had it was great value.

Such a lovely place! Arrived late at night and they opened the restaurant on a quiet evening! We were greeted so kindly and got to talking with the people running the place! So friendly, great atmosphere, fantastic food!

The food was more like a Chinese takeaway (and a poor one at that) than a Thai restaurant. Shrivelled dried fish cakes and watery curry served with over sticky rice.A real shame if you like Thai food as there are so many great Thai restaurants, unfortunately this one is not one of them.Dont waste your time or money.

I cant understand why this restaurant is never full as its is awesome and great value. The menu is exciting with so much choice too. The service is prompt and the staff are very welcoming with a smile for everyone. Just writing this is making me hungry. Do take time out to visit this fine establishment ..you wont be disappointed, it knocks socks off Chinese food.

Having been here a few times over the last couple of years, we sadly watched the service go down hill - this evening was a lovely surprise as the food was absolutely excellent and the service was on top form. (The waitress explained the reasons for the decline.)

Good size portions and really tasty food. The set price men is really good value starter and main for £7.95. Wine is not overpriced either.

Llevé a mi esposa a el restaurante tailandés en lo alto de la carretera la otra noche, un agradable lugar. Un entorno relajante, camarera servicial y excelente comida. Vale la pena una visita, buenos precios de comida de primera calidad. Gran selección de comida y cerveza a regarlo con, altamente recomendado!

Buen servicio, buen precio y un ambiente agradable. Así que bastante bien. Pero la comida es lo que lo hace, absolutamente genial. No te desanimes que es a menudo bastante tranquilo, todavía no sé por qué no es más popular.

Fuimos como una familia en una noche de sábado viviendo el momento mientras estábamos en la zona. El restaurante estaba vacío, lo cual nos preocupó al principio! El menú estaba lleno de cocina tailandesa y las porciones eran grandes. Mi esposa y yo tuvimos Gaeng Massaman con pollo - maravillosa y excepcionalmente sabrosa. Nuestro hijo tiene un curry de verduras que también era estupendo. Teníamos arroz al vapor y verduras rollitos de primavera. Estábamos tan completo después de este y fue excelente. El servicio también fue exccellent. No llevar y un menú. Buena para visitar si estás en la zona de gillingham.

This is the best Thai food I have had since moving to Kent. I have tried other Thai restaurants but nothing compared to theirs. Excellent service, friendly staff and manager and amazing and delicious food. Even though the restaurant is small it is cosy with a great atmosphere and great for dates with your other half or great for get together with friends.However, went there recently and it does seem to be under new management and new chef as food taste slightly different and staff seemed a bit down.

Have eaten here many times - always happy with the food - plenty of variety and decent size portions ...... however it might have changed hands - the staff do not appear to be as happy and friendly as they used to be and the service is incredibly slow - and it wasn't busy!Meals served without cutlery, part of order arriving without the rest and always had to ask for another drink rather than the waiting staff checking this.

Small restaurant serving delicious Thai food.The food is excellent value especially the two course set menu for around £8 per person which includes starter, main and rice. Drinks are reasonably priced too.The pad thai is amazing!

I have been to the restaurant a few times and always had lovely dishes. They also do great cocktails. This time we ordered a take away. We had to collect it as they didn't start delivery until 18.45 on a Sunday. We ordered pad thai, massaman curry and coconut rice. There was plenty to eat and it was delicious. Coconut rice wasn't all the coconutty but it was nice. My partner is gluten free and these dishes were suitable for him which is a plus.

We have used this restaurant loads in the past. I believe though that it is now under new management and this seems to be reflected in the service given. Material napkins have been replaced by paper Ines in the restaurant and food delivery, promised 'within the hour' had still not arrived an hour and a quarter later. When called, the promise was that 'the driver would be 10-15 minutes away'. Very sad as the restaurant used to be great, along with the takeaway service.

Well my girlfriend and I fancied a bit of oriental cuisine so we thought we would give this a whirl. This was a decent enough meal, it won't blow you socks off but it was adequate and quite tasty. It's not the sort of special occasion sort of place that you go to for a bit of dinner when you can't be bothered to cook.The decor was quite shabby and had a poor DIY feel, with untidy finishes all over the place.Decent enough but we've had a lot better and a lot worse .

I ordered a takeaway for myself and 3 friends. We were told delivery would be 45mins-1hour. After 1.5 hours I rang to be told they were 5mins away. 15mins and 4 very 'hangry' girls later, I rang again.. this time was told it would be definitely be within 10mins and offered a 10% discount.Our delivery turned up 15mins later, along with a female delivery driver with a bad attitude in town...We were greeted by 'it's not my fault, we didn't know people would want takeaways on a hot night' along with huffing/puffing and eye-rolling... much like dealing with a petulant child.. I was more angry with the restaurant initially for not giving us the correct information, which could have been remedied by a simple apology from a pleasant delivery driver. Instead she managed to wind the whole situation up with her poor customer service skills.After more than a 2hour wait for food, our takeaway was reasonable. Good customer service goes a long way.. unfortunately Reunthai you have been let down by your delivery staff on this occasion...

This restaurant remains a shade of its former self. Mid week meal but no napkins on tables had to ask. Starters luke warm and still poor quality ingredients. Had the mixed but not worth £13 given how little a couple get, nearer £5! And now to the main courses...hot plates (one star!) delivered but ten mins on no food and they've gone cold....any chance of a bite?! On arrival .... the curries flavoursome in fairness and tasty Noodle dishes nondescript...no flavour but well cooked.Staff friendly though table service not silver by my definition (ok a little harsh). I can't believe the management team is the same as when it started out. If it is....not sure why they've let it go. p.s needs a serious paint job inside...tacky and careworn. Glue pouring down the walls from the pictures not a good look!

We went for a mid week meal. The welcome was warm and friendly. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious and very good value. It gets busier at peak times therefore best advised to book.

The food is very tasty and plentiful, with quite a bit of variety on the menu.It was served piping hot, and nicely presented. It was fairly busy in the restaurant and there were lots of phone calls for takeaways, but the waiter managed to keep on top of things. I am not sure if he would have coped if the place had been full though.Nice atmosphere. Will definitely return.

What a truly great night. The food was excellent, I had a jungle curry, whew.... hot... but so well cooked it was delicious. The service was second to none. It was a birthday celebration so I took a cake which they brought out in style,candles, lots of panache,and a happy birthday song playing. You could tell the staff were really pleased to be part of our night. Starters,main meal, lots of wine , coffee liqueurs all less than £25 a head!!!

Visited here (again) with friends.Lovely warm welcome and fantastic service.All drinks requested were available along with the food.Sat eating, drinking and chatting in warm and comfortable surroundings.Food was excellent - though may have eaten too much.Fantasic value for money with the all you can eat buffet - cooked fresh to order not the help yourself all you can eat type.

Just came back home from here after a really bad meal for the first time since the old chef came back. firstly no draft beer which we accepted, ordered pad Thai, angry lamb and sea bass. The sea bass was out so we accepted cod although got charged for sea bass tasted like I was cooked in jam, the pad thai was stodgy and the angry lamb dish contained 5 pieces of dried up chunks of something that had no lamb taste and once again too salty and too sweet. Will not go back in a hurry. £60.00 meal - waste of money

Good service, friendly staff and good food. An enjoyable evening. it was relaxing and we were allowed time to eat, chat and enjoy the evening.

Went to this restaurant for the first time on Saturday evening, despite living only five minutes away. Food was excellent, service very good and atmosphere spot on. Prices very good, and now the venue is under new management I think it has great potential. Judging by the number of in house and take away customers, I'm not the only one who thinks this!

Decided to try here again to see if any improvement but sadly not. Food luke warm, service incredibly slow and inferior ingredients. Baffles me....this place had it sussed...and in last 6 months has gradually cut corners and headed downhill. Big shame

We either eat in or have take away either way i cant fault the food, The chef was kind enough to also make us our favorite dish that was not on the menu we think its the best Thai around here give it a go you wont be disappointed.

I have visited this restaurant on multiple occasions as I live very near. Enjoyed it every time, the food is so flavoursome and service is excellent. Always taken care of by a very handsome waiter who is so helpful and polite. Would definitely recommend to eat there as prices are also excellent for the quality of food. Must go to this place for a quality taste of Thai food.

Bad all round. Everything is dripping with fat and over flavoured. Staff are slow to bring out dishes. Didnt get our main food till nearly closing time. They havent got a clue how to run a buisness. Sorry for the negative comments but we had a very bad experience here. Needs to improve. Needs another Chef.

I have used this restaurant over the years. Staff have always been attentive, polite and helpful. The food outstanding and if you select the 'eat as much as you like' excellent value. It also allow you to sample something new and you can always asked for more or an additional dish to avoid over ordering. So fortunate to have such an excellent Thai in the area.

I have visited Ruenthai many times. Its a lovely restaurant. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and they have a great selection of Thai food, all freshly cooked. We have had loads of large party meals in here, the service is great. They even provide us with a birthday cake and free drinks at the end of the meal. Love this little Thai place.

Dec 11 - This was the place to eat in Gillingham when it first opened and have had many a good meal there, with a warm welcome assured. However the last 12 mths have seen a gradual decline in the quality of the ingredients (especially the meat) portion sizes (mixed starters 50% less for nearly £12!) and attentiveness to customers. Also strangely seems to have periods where it can only take cash as card facility unavailable. No longer value for money and in terms of quality the extra distance to Grandma Thai s in Rochester is worth the journey.Hoping it can up turn it round...a lick of paint wouldn't go a miss either.

Sadly this was a really disappointing meal. We ordered the chicken satay, which was a little slimey and not very tasty. Chicken Green Curry- smelt terrible, my daughter stated that it smelled like 'mouldy rubber'. Quite an accurate description.Pad Thai- greasy and tasteless.This may well have been an 'off day' but I won't be trying it again.

I have eaten at this restaurant on a number of occasions. It has been the choice for a romantic meal, a birthday celebration and just for that midweek treat. I have always found the food to be of good quality. There are all the usual Thai favorites on the menu, as one would expect, plus a very welcoming atmosphere.The £16.95 multi choice menu represents great value for money - there will definitely be something for everyone here. or you can choose to eat a la carte. The restaurant is not huge, and so I would recommend booking if you want a table over the weekend. Personally I prefer the more intimate setting of a smaller restaurant. The bar is reasonably stocked and alcohol prices are no higher than I would expect to pay in a restaurant. All in, a very pleasant restaurant.

This is a two reviews in one scenario.I visited the restaurant and indulged in the £16.95 'All You Can Eat' menu. All the food is cooked fresh and the lady chef came out to make sure all was ok. I love duck and had plenty along with satay chicken and Red curry, green curry and yellow curry. I really can't fault the food and the service was prompt and staff professional. Really worth a visit!!I have also ordered takeaway from this restaurant and unfortunately I was less than impressed. The food was as tasty as ever which can't be faulted. However, it took over 2 hours to arrive. This was far from good enough and there was not really much of an apology. I appreciate that the food is cooked fresh but it only took 30 minutes if that when I was in the restaurant and I live about 15/20minutes away (if that).All in all if you want to go for a nice Thai at a reasonable price this is the place for you but if you want a nice takeaway and are Hungery then this is not the restaurant to call!!

Really excellant selection of food, first class service. Your have to see the menu to believe, they even have an eat as much as you like menu. Would most certainly recommend this place to anyone.

First visit to here. Food was superb. Extremely tasty and flavoursome. This was also my first try of Thai food and I must say I certainly enjoyed it

We like to dine early and mid-week and after 3 visits in 8 weeks this small, family run restaurant no longer surprises me that other couples and groups come to enjoy the food and we are not dining alone. I would imagine that towards the weekend booking is essential as once found those who enjoy authentic Thai food will always be back.They have the same menu available as take-away and also deliver, but there is always something of a sense of occasion when you go out to eat and the food served here warrants the time to sit and enjoy being waited on by people who are clearly proud of what they do and pleased to receive our thanks when we leave.

We love coming here regularly to enjoy a cosy and relaxed night which is a nice contrast to the usual franchise rubbish you find elsewhere in Medway. The food is fantastic with reasonable prices. The place is cute and the staff are always friendly. we've been going regularly for a number of years and has been an influence for our upcoming trip to Thailand. My friend came to visit from London. Normally we eat in fine food restaurants but after eating in a few Thai restaurants in my friends neck of the woods I thought we would try one local to me. I was recommended this place and I am so glad we tried it. The decor is a little tired but the staff were amazing. We opted for the all you can eat at a fixed price. We chose our dishes from the menu and they were cooked fresh for us. The dishes were tasty and rivalled any other Thai I have tried (I have been to another restaurant local to me as well as the ones near my friend). Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Would definitely visit here again

Worst food we have ever tasted, undercooked, cold, fatty, and couldn't even explain the smell. Spent £95 however only received £45 back after the aggressive boss had an outburst in his own restaurant at my two elderly grandparents.Would never order from here again and strongly advise anyone to avoid it!

Delivered on time and absolutely delicious. We had the set meal with the chicken satay @ £16.50. Everything was hot, fresh and very tasty. Definitely recommend and will be using again.

While staying with my parents who live in Gillingham my dad arranged for us to have a family meal at Ruenthai. When he rang to book a table he was initially told that they were closed on Good Friday but the owner kindly offered to open the restaurant for us. When we arrived we were very warmly welcomed. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt the service was excellent throughout. We decided to eat from the 'all you can eat' buffet for £16.95. The 6 of us had a selection of pretty much all of the starters. They were all delicious but in particular the spare ribs and prawn toast were outstanding. We then had crispy duck pancakes and they were very tasty. After this we had soup - the flavour was beautiful but despite being described as mild, it nearly blew our heads off! My sister and brother-in-law still managed it all and loved it though! We then had a selection of main courses. The thai green curry and chicken chow mein were particularly delicious. We were in the restaurant for approximately two hours and we didn't feel at all rushed. In fact at the end of the meal we were offered a complimentary drink which we thought was very generous considering they had opened especially for us as well. I am saddened to read some of the previous very negative reviews. I hope people are not put off by them as we nearly were. I eat out regularly and would rate Ruenthai up there with some of the best meals I've had. I would definitely recommend going there for a meal if you are interested in sampling some delicious Thai cuisine!

I have just returned from dinner and feel like I have been robbed.firstly the restaurant is cramped,hot,dirty and poorly decorated.the menu lacks basic thai cuisine yet has several Chinese dishes that just aren't thai.after waiting 45 mins we received our starter that was ok but then had to wait 1hr for our mains which lacked flavours and presentation skills ive never had plastic flowers served on my plate before.we decided to cut our losses and leave when we asked if we could take our curry home was told it would cos 50p at that point I asked for bill and was presented it within 2 mins quickest I've seen them move all night.poor,service,food and attitude never again didn't even apologise knowing I wasn't happy.

Lovely restaurant, friendly staff, fast home delivery service and wonderful food. Have been here several times, including lunch times when it's approx £4.50 for 2 courses.

Ok , so i have used this place on and off for the past 2 years now and the majority of the time the food has been ok, on a few occasions it has been poor and a handfull of times i have felt it to be exceptional. I think they change their chefs quite often ( so i was told by the young waiter ) but means the food quality is never consistent. This is a big shame. Staff are always very nice and have always looked after me when i have had a complaint. The set menu offer during the week is a cheap midweek treat that is well worth the venture out.

Went on a Saturday night in November. Restaurant is small, narrow and split level. Menu is modestly priced at £16.95 for which you can order as much as you like. Portion sizes are small and we therefore probably under ordered. You can order more at anytime but to be honest the food is just ok so we didn't feel inclined to have more. I would recommend the restaurant use better quality meat but I dare so it would reach a point of being unprofitable at the price point mentioned. Staff were friendly and attentive. However, in my opinion you can get better thai food elsewhere so I probably wouldn't rush back.

I first went to this restaurant many years ago, under different ownership, but, as has been stated elsewhere, it had the same problem, they cannot get the delivery to table sorted for groups. We had a table of six but despite the starters all arriving together they struggled with the main course dishes. They came in ad hoc stages which meant, while the rices came, there were delays until meat/fish and noodle dishes arrived meaning what had been hot plates originally had cooled by the time everything was on hand.That said the food itself was good, a varied menu at reasonable prices, all washed down with a few Singha's. The staff were pleasant, attentive but not obtrusive. Definitely one to return to.

My Hubby and I have had a few deliveries/take aways from here now. We love it.We get the £16.95 set meal which has everything we like, we always have left overs so there is more than enough for the money. We always swap to sticky rice and have ocassionally swapped one of the meat dishes no problem.The only funny thing we have had in the past is them mis-hearing us - getting our address wrong on 2 occassions and bringing us a meal for 4 instead of 2 ( not really a problem!) on another. LOL. just make sure you're clear when phoning your order through!!

This must have been our tenth visit and have enjoyed every meal. All I would say though is the draught beer could be better. Food is normally very good but this visit the food was ok. I would still go back.

Always great food and a range of options to suit all budgets (£15 all you can eat, £9.95 3 courses and £6.75 2 courses as well as the a la carte menu)Service unfortunately can be a little hit and miss, they don't cater for large groups too well.Saying that, when the food actually arrives, it more than makes up for this.Definitely worth a try!

The food is outstanding - some of the most authentic that I have eaten in both the UK and Thailand.Take-away is quick, hot and generous portions. The restaurant offers a eat as much as you can eat option at £16.95 which lets you sample dishes that you may not have previously tried. The portion are slightly smaller but you will be given the chance to order 'seconds' of any dishes.Service is warm, attentive and efficient.If you are going you will need to book. When we last went the places was nearly full by 19:00.

I don't eat Thai food regular but I have eaten in another Thai restaurant in the Chatham area and it didn't really stand out to me like Reunthai did. The first time I was taken there I wasn't keen I have to admit but how wrong was I. The restaurant was full (always a good sign if you ask me) and the Customer Service was second to none... okay so our food took a while to arrive, but at least you know its fresh and when your out for dinner its nice to actually sit, relax and enjoy the surroundings... the décor is beautiful! We opted for the £9.95 3 course meal.... which is excellent value for money as the food is delicious! I would happily pay more. The only thing I will say and its not necessarily a bad thing (depends on the people/occasion) is that it can get quite loud. For me that wasn't a problem as it adds to atmosphere but for a couple out on a romantic dinner say, it might not be the place for you. Again I just want to point out how great the Customer Service is at this place, as its a rarity these days. I'll be back again and again and again.

Where do we start?...We have had take-aways from the Ruenthai a few times and it's been quite good the first time we put it down to our choice of a thai curry, we found the smell really cheesey and maybe the plastic dishes didn't help, friends and family have been and had meals in the restaurant and have enjoyed it so we thought we would go out for a nice evening meal.We opted for the £6.95 two course meal after recommendation that it's great value and good food.Starters: My Chicken Satay was Cold/Warm but I accepted it, my Husbands fish cakes were rock hard brown small discs, we told the waitress but she didn't really acknowledge the fact at all.Main: Both opted for the Black Pepper Sauce dishes and also though the Beef and the Prawn was good quality the dish was far too salty.The house wine at around £15 wasn't that great either to be honest.Luckily the meal didn't cost much and obviously we decide not to stay and have longer in the place.Maybe we was unlucky and the chef was having an off day or the regular one was not working? Like i say other family members have been and enjoyed both the set meals and the buffet.Food should be the same wether it's takeaway, set meal, buffet or eating off the menu.We won't be using it again.

I thought it would be nice to try somewhere new and I'm glad I did, now I know to never go back again, smallest bottle of beer possible £3.60, in fact the whole menu was overpriced for what it was, out of 5 dishes and 2 starters I half liked 1 dish, which was my wife's yellow chicken curry, sticky rice should be changed to sicky rice, the duck dish tasted more like beef, I read done reviews but chose to take a gamble.....I lost

This is a restaurant where the food is worth waiting for. Sometimes when they're busy service might be a little slow but the staff are always apologetic when necessary and try and keep you informed. You will see from my previous review that we thought the food was excellent and that hasn't changed. Food is amazing value, properly authentic and on a par with far more expensive Thai restaurants that we have tried. This is a staunch favourite of ours now even if the table cloths are a bit shabby!!! We probably eat here twice a month on average and we are FUSSY!!

This is our regular treat. We absolutely love the food in this restaurant and find ourselves comparing everywhere else to the standard here. The staff are great very friendly always stopping for a chat and asking how you are. The food is amazing, try the sea bass with chilli my favourite along with Angry Lamb. When I first visited this restautant I had never really liked Thai food and now I am a total convert so much so that I visited Thailand last year but the first thing I did when I got back was to visit Reunthai as the food there was not as good as here!!!

1st visit after recommendation from friends, lovely food, lovely flavours, lovely service. All you can eat, too much to choose from, reasonable priced. Highly recommended, will be going again.

Can't add any more than the above it's expensive and the food leaves lots to be desired. Alcohol is expensive and if eating from all inclusive menu be prepared to be very disappointed

This Thai on Watling Street is probably my most favourite restaurant. Not only is the food amazing, the staff are truly lovely people who are always welcoming and friendly. My friend and I go quite often. If we're feeling hungry we go for the all you can eat where everything is cooked to order and never fails to be anything but delicious. It is well worth the money. However, if we're not feeling as piggy we usually have one of the curries (jungle, red or green) and some rice/noodles. A very rare restaurant where the staff are genuinely friendly and hospitable and the food never disappoints.

We booked an 8pm sitting and were shown to our seats. After about 10 minutes our order was taken. We recieved our bottle of wine fairly immediately however no food arrived for a further 40 mins at least. The very friendly waiter was apologetic and we knew we were in for a wait when he started bringing us prawn crackers to keep us sweet. When the food did arrive it was nice even though the jungle curry was a soup that was our choice to try something different. I would certainly return to this restaurant as the friendlness and the standard of the food outweighed the length of time it took to be served.

I have never eaten Thai food before and really wanted the opportunity to try different dishes so when I saw an "all you can eat" buffet at Reunthai, I saw the perfect opportunity. Let me make it clear though that this is not a pre-cooked running buffet like some Chinese restaurants you get. With Reunthai you pay a set price and pick whatever you want from the menu - as many times as you want and if you want every single dish, you can have it. When they serve the food, they are not massive portions so there would be very little waste if you didn't particularly like something. I am allergic to seafood and there were a lot of prawn dishes on the menu but also lots of chicken (which I really like), duck etc. I really enjoyed the Thai experience - a sort of mix between Chinese and Indian but very fragrant food and very flavoursome.As for the staff, well they were second to none - they were attentive, polite and courteous at all times - nothing was too much trouble. My husband hasn't tried Thai food yet so I plan on taking him next :)Don't hesitate in visiting Reunthai - whether you know and like Thai food or are a complete beginner - the experience was very pleasant indeed.

Lovely food, very nice waiter, plenty of Specials but the All You Can Eat £16.95 can't be beat, make sure you try one of the soups,,delish!
