Food was very average or it could be the food that we had ordered. Having gone to many restaurants in the area I think it was not the quality we expected. Service was not entirely terrible but they had missed an item from our order despite their being only 2 other customers in the restaurant. I would not go again.

Order or attend at your own peril, after all, it is called Rude and you know what they say, if the cap fits... I visited Rude twice this year, both times the experience was the same - very good food in the restaurant, coined with appauling service with an attitude. My wife and daughter ordered dinner for me as they were on summer vacation. Food arrived and was absolutely abismal. Lamb samosas were stodgy and lacking in mince substance. Garlic naan was tough, uncooked in many areas and tasteless. Butter chicken smelt of strong tomatoe sauce as soon as the lid is opened. It tasted far worse, lacking any type of Indian flavour. I persued the natural course of action, called the restaurant to complain. I would have left it at this if they had provided an apology. A chap called Mo answered. I ask him if I can speak with the owner or a manger. He said 'no one is here'. He asked what the issue was. I told him about the unauthentic food. I asked him if the chef is the owner, he said 'yes'. I then asked him why he is not being truthful as the chef is there, thus the owner is there. He told me the chef is busy and will call me back. Chef/owner Sunil Dhankar calls me. Already sounding like the name of his establishment, he asked me what the problem was. I explained that the food I recieved was not good. He proceeds to shout at me and argue, stating that food he delivered was the same as served in the restaurant. This was not addressing my point and I ask why he is shouting at me. He continues to shout.... I respond by telling him that I will leave a review. "Leave a hundred reviews, I don't care " was his arrogant response. He continued to shout down the phone and told me "don't order from here again". This man is an award winner for aweful customer service and I question if he should be investigated for being a risk to the public. Nevertheless.... If you want great Indian food in Hatch End, walk accross the road! Avoid Avoid Rude Lounge, they are extremely rude and the delivered food is extremely bad.

### Review of Rude Lounge in Hatch End I had an exceptionally disappointing dining experience at Rude Lounge in Hatch End, and feel compelled to share in order to safeguard others from a similar ordeal. From the moment we were greeted, the tone of the evening was set by a waiter whose personal hygiene was severely lacking. This off-putting start was a harbinger of what was to come. We ordered a lamb curry, rice, and naan, while my girlfriend opted for lamb chops. Although I found my curry, rice, and bread satisfactory, the lamb chops were a different story. The chops were marinated in a sauce but were undercooked to the point of being inedible. After taking a single bite, I knew I couldn't eat any more. When the bill arrived, I informed the waitress about the issue with the lamb chops. She apologised but did not offer to remove the uneaten dish from the bill. It was evident none of the chops had been touched, yet there was no talk of compensation. I even mentioned to the waitress that those chops were rancid and should not be served to anyone else. Overall, I cannot recommend Rude Lounge. I rarely leave bad reviews, but this experience was so poor that I felt it necessary to warn future diners, particularly about the lamb chops. Save yourself the trouble and dine elsewhere.

Amazing customer service, this is first time I’ve ordered this fantastic restaurant. I’ve ordered pullao rice, daal makhani, butter chicken and seekh kebab it tastes absolutely delicious it never disappoints. I’ll be returning to this restaurant. 10* review

Had my 40th birthday get together and this place was the perfect place for it. The food was excellent and yummy. Drinks were flowing, and the atmosphere was just perfect. I couldn't complain about anything. Friendly staff and helpful.

I celebrated my birthday there. It was amazing atmosphere, yummy food and very good service. Vasu was so helpful n patient. She was there to attend us and always full of smile. I will definitely recommend this place for their service,delicious north Indian n indo Chinese cuisine and their Dance floor. It was memorable night well spent with my Friends.

So I’ve been here on a few occasions now, I spent my birthday here two weeks ago. It was a great night, food was amazing and the Dj really made the night great. The cocktails were spot on, thanks everyone for organising and making my event great.

I had hired the upstairs private room at Rude lounge to host my birthday drinks/starters. I was in close communication with Mo a week leading up to my event and he was very accommodating and flexible to the constant change in the number of guests from my end and to see how he can best cater to my needs. They had provided a speaker for us to use in the room upstairs and we had a waiter (Sid) dedicated to us to take orders and payments for drinks and food and he was brilliant! Overall, I would highly recommend Rude lounge for their lovely food and drinks to host a party and will definitely be visiting again.

Great food, fantastic atmosphere and a very friendly welcoming team. I hosted my daughter’s 18 th Bday with about 40 plus guests. The whole team was were very cooperative and made sure to make my party a blast. Special thanks to Mo for organising it very smoothly. He let me choose the layout that was most comfortably to us and also to the other guests in the restaurant that evening. Also a shout out to Sidharth for being a great host to us all through the evening. The live DJ and dance floor added lot more fun to our party. Strongly recommend for group gatherings/ parties and family outings .

All I can say …. EPIC ! Outstanding service, great Dj and the best 40th party I had with my girlfriends. Right from the start … from deciding the menu to suggestion Rude management was there on every step. They made sure it was special and indeed it was. Had such a lovely evening at rude lounge .. the staff was lovely and friendly .. we went for a surprise birthday meal during the week honestly very relaxed vibe music to our taste .. we requested and they delivered .. been told they do nights on weekends with a Dj also have a function room up stairs food was lovely spicy at times overall really good night we defo brought the atmosphere we was the only ones in there .. also received a 20% voucher for Wednesdays .. Went to rude for the first time on Wednesday. Service was excellent,really friendly and helpful. Food was equally as good. Would have no hesitation in recommending. Now my favourite Indian restaurant in the area.

What a great place! Been meaning to come to Rude for a while and finally made it. We arrived at 5pm, and was greeted with a smile. Food was amazing and well cooked. Cocktails were also well made. Nice mellow music playing in the background and not so loud like many other places. The space is small but they have done well utilising it and lovely bar decor too! We had a lovely chat with the owner and head chef, what a humble man!! You don’t normally get this service in a restaurant. He then went out his way to come and ask if the food we ordered was good and if he could assist us any further. As complimentary, they didn’t charge us for a beer, apple juice and plain rice for my baby. What a great, friendly service! Definitely one to visit in Hatch End! Thank you again!

We had an excellent time last night at Rude. Brilliant service the staff were fabulous, attentive and very caring. We had taken family who had come over from America and they were impressed. The starters and all the mains were delicious. One dish we didn't quite like but the staff were apologetic about it and took our feedback on board. Definitely going to be our regular go to place now as the service makes it. Also the DJ was fab we loved the music! Thank you for a great night!

Food was amazing, we had complimentary shots for waiting as they were still setting up although we had booked the table for 17pm, the atmosphere was nice , staff were friendly and enjoyed our food, will definitely return again

So the starters we had were nice but lacked a little flavour, the mains however were really delish. The cocktails were well made and yummy. Service was good. The place is quite small and filled up later on in the evening.

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions, I went with my friends for my birthday celebration and totally loved the personalised service and food. The reviews for this place were not good but I thought we should still try. However as soon as you enter it’s like stone cold, they said the heating was on but it 8pm on Friday night and it’s not inviting. Our group decided this was not acceptable and we walked out. The place was barely occupied and they’re no wonder why. Btw. We spoke to the owner and he got really defensive about his restaurant and did not accept it was cold. Anyway good luck to you if you think this policy works but I certainly won’t be going there any time soon!

Amazing food...my husband and i have just had a lovely meal at Rude Lounge and he is the most fussiest foody i know. He abosutly rated it the number 1 indian restaurant in Hatch End. I know some of the other restaurants take the highlight but you really have to give this place a go..well deserved review. Oh and their cocktails are great too

Went here on Valentine's day and have fallen in love with the food. Had Rude special chicken gravy and naan. The naan was so soft and the chicken gravy just perfect taste and spicy level. Also the service is quick and the staff is very welcoming and sweet. I am gonna be a regular visitor here. 10/10

Great service from Mo. Good food overall

The food is really authentic indian. We often order and eat at many fancy places, only to be disappointed with how much garlic and oil people use. Things take turn for worse when food is not cooked properly like chickpeas. Not at Rude. In fact, the place is just the opposite. We were looking at the menu, and a gentleman started talking to us about the restaurant. When he mentioned he was the owner of the restaurant, we just entered the restaurant to check if food was as good as the owner. It quietly was, staff is polite and food is too delicious not to visit again. 10 out of 10 for this one.

The worst food I have eaten. If you are going to serve food to the public make sure its fresh and not microwaved. Food quality is very important, if you have a passion for food you would know what/how to deliver. Appalling.

I celebrated my special birthday and food was amazing.

We celebrated my 40th birthday here and got a private room which was nice. The food and service was very good and we all enjoyed. After 10.30ish the restaurant turned into a bar. Be careful here when visiting the bar as they don't show you what they are charging to your card. We ordered single rose taquilla shots and got charged for double. Its only when we asked the person charging us to give us a receipt when we found out he was charging for double. Upon complaining he insisted he have us doubles but when we asked him to prove it it was evident he was trying it. After this he gave us the round on the house, but we still got his lip service after we went for another round, prompting us to leave the joint and call it a night as it left a sour taste to a rather amazing dinner celebration. The owner was very nice and approachable though hence not giving any more stars off.

Went with my friend for Sunday evening drink and food. Excellent decor and food was very tasty. We had chicken wings and chilli chicken. Both were superb. We also had chef special Rude chicken curry, it was very tasty.

THE WORST FOOD WE HAVE EVER EATEN ! As a group of close friends we have been eating out for over 35 years. In all this time we have never encountered such awful food and pathetic service as we did this week. Fusion381 had changed to Rude Bar, so we thought lets try. There is an obvious lack of communication and understanding between staff and nobody even knew how to treat customers at all. I wonder if anyone who owns or works at this place has ever had a good experience at a dining establishment. All of us are seething at this pathetic excuse for a restaurant. As an Indian restaurant, I am flabbergasted that they have no idea of the variety of taste available throughout London and particularly in the Middlesex area. If they had - they would never have even opened with the quality that was served. Firstly one of the friends had ordered a separate takeaway for his son. The restaurant missed out a main dish - which when advised blamed the friend. No apology. One friend ordered an expensive passion cocktail which was basically Rubicon carton juice. When he ordered a ginger ale, they brought a ginger beer - then insisted and argued that we had ordered a ginger beer. This friend has never drunk ginger beer in his life. They had no common beers - like Bud - and the draft wasn't working. We ordered both Veg and Non Veg - a total 7 starters. None of the waiting staff knew what the dishes were, and gave a Veg dish to Non Veg section of table - which was only realised when a fish dish finally came. So we had to order an extra dish. Our cost restaurant fault. The owner Mo had to come several times to reconfirm everything because he was so unsure of what he was doing, and kept giving us dirty looks. There was a drinks waiter who just stood there - poorly dressed - as if he was doing everyone a favour. No welcoming attitude. The waitress was new and had no clue and no training - and that's the restaurants lack of training. .Drinks would come unopened, and we had to ask for glasses. After finishing starters we had to ask them to clear the table and were told it will only be done when before mains were served. One friend had dental problems so I had asked when booking if you can grind the food. They said yes. At the restaurant they said no, and then they said yes then no again. Then we had to call the chef who finally agreed. Disgusting service ! When we ordered the mains ALL of the food was in EXACTLY the same sauce. This was like going to a poor restaurant in the 1970's. When I said this to Mo, he insisted that all the sauces were different. His attitude wasn't friendly or welcoming. If you are in the service industry you should know that the customer experience is paramount. All in all it was the worst experience in a restaurant I have EVER had. MO !!! Friendly advice SHUT DOWN NOW ! As Mahatma Gandhi said, “A customer is the most important visitor in our premises. He is not dependent on us, we are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work, he is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business, he is part of it." But Mo I guess you don't care. We were 7 people who will tell at least 10 people and these 70 people will mention it to at least a few more. Good Luck ! It was an expensive lesson with a £36 service charge which was way too high for the non service. The only reason there is 1 star is because there is no lower option ! Thorough waste of time money and very bad food. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE !

This is our first visit to fusion for a birthday celebration, and I must say I was very impressed with this restaurant. The proprietors were very welcoming. We were given a tour , excellent. The food was excellent, service excellent. We would definitely recommend this for a really good evening out. We are looking forward to our next visit.👍🏼🥂

Had high hopes but the unfortunately the dining experience wasn't up to scratch. Food was severely overcooked and actually what arrived was different to what was stated in the menu, i.e. missing compnents to the dish. Also there was a delay in serving the food and when it did come, the sides came much much later and with regular prompting.

The old Natwest building is beautifully transformed into a sophisticated restaurant with an elegant bar. Music was good and there was a lovely vibe to the place. The service was friendly and we felt taken care of. The menu looked interesting and the good was presented well. However, the flavours didn't quite match the high standard of presentation and service. We tried the vegetarian sushi, halloumi sald, korean chicken wings, miso aubergine and sweet potato fries. Unfortunately nothing stood out from a taste perspective.

One to recommend for sure!! Fantastic food and service! Tried out a new restaurant in Hatch End which id noticed as I'd passed by a month before. The building caught my eye as it looked more like a bank than a restaurant. I was soon to find out thats exactly what it had been! I peaked in and saw the plush, brightly coloured furniture and unusual decor and the menu ... it all looked so good. It was now on my to do list. So Saturday night, myself and 7 friends went there and were not disappointed. Loved the quirkiness of the restaurant, the food was excellent, service (thank you Keely) and attention to detail was wonderful and the cocktails 🍸 were amazing (thank you Rakesh)! Ill come back to food recommendations in a minute but have to say, loved the wine room behind the old banking cage doors and they even have a private room which they told me can be reserved for groups that want a bit more privacy. Also important, the toilets were beautifully designed and felt plush. So now to my favourite topic ... food 😋 To start, I had the seared Scallops on a bed of pea & mint puree - beautifully cooked and a delicious blend of flavours (do ask for a teaspoon so you dont miss out on any of that sauce)! For main, I had the Seabass fillet on a bed of mixed vegetables which again was perfectly cooked and the saute potatoes with it were amazing and seasoned to perfection. As you will see from the photos my friends all had different dishes and i got to try the truffle fried roll sushi, the king prawns with garlic, the truffle fries and my only decision now is when to go back and what to try next. The owner is Manish and made us all feel so welcome and special. If you happen to call to book, id appreciate it if you said you saw this review as im a woman of my word and told him id do an honest review... Ps. Total Rip off Cocktails advertised at £6 only had 3 got a bill for £27.00 asked why it was so much, got told it was 12.5% service charge! How did 3x£6 +12.5% =£27?? And didn’t even flinch when asked why it’s was so much!

Me and my son last to Fushion 381 for the first time. The atmosphere and food was amazing. We felt welcomed and had an amazing time. My 12 year old loves the food and didn’t want to leave as he loved the music with DJ. I had a sushi which was delicious. Highly recommended and will go again Great for parties or mums nights out!

A really bad experience, one that I would not want any other customer to go through. Following the arrival of our starters, which was dry, old and tasteless I had mentioned it to the server to feedback to the chef! Therefore, I had hoped they would make an effort with the main meal - and to my shock the tiger prawn was tasteless, the lamb chop was over cooked and the vegetables was clearly microwaved and had no taste! It’s absolutely mental that they are charging premium price for what seemed like canteen food! Whilst I understand the servers are not responsible for the food, when the bill arrived I mentioned that the food was really bad - however the server was only interested in the payment there was no customer service or an offer to make things better. As we were leaving we overheard a couple complaining about their fish being undercooked - so I don’t know whether the food is always this bad or whether it was a bad day. However, I will not be visiting this establishment again given the food was awful, and to make things worse the server did not care about our experience/feedback. I’m annoyed that I wasted £85, and left the restaurant starving/hungry! I would have rated this restaurant 0 star if that was an option!

The vegetarian food was well cooked and well presented, however the portions could have been bigger for the price. The chicken wings was pretty standard, expensive for 6 small wings. They did ran out of original Rose we ordered, then ran out of botteled Peroni beer. Service was really good.

I went to fusion to try the food that my friend recommended to me. When I went there I expected an Asian menu, however I was offered steak and chips. It was as if I was being served a full English in an Asian restaurant. It just didn’t make any sense. Safe to say I’m very disappointed and will not be going back.

I had previously been to the restaurant for a birthday celebration, I loved the food however the change in the menu really lowered my expectations and has caused the standards of the restaurant to drop. Hopefully they bring back the old menu.

It’s a one star for me as the menu has changed. I really preferred the old menu. I always realised that the standards have dropped. This has me question what has happened to the old menu. For this reason, I don’t believe they’re meeting the customers needs.

The vegeterian menu is quite limited (feels like you could make any of the dishes veggie so an option on that would be great) Found the portions small and the food average (especially for the prices you're paying) Atmosphere was really nice and I'm glad there's a different type of restaurant on the high St.

Maneesh, Ibby and Vicci give amazing service and really make you feel welcome! The food is in the name, it's a fusion and it works. The salmon I had was juicy and cooked to perfection. The skin could have been crispy but that's a personal preference. The building used to be a bank and the owners have restored it beautifully, you feel like you've walked into a Mayfair restaurant. The staff overall are lovely and super attentive. There is a wine cellar downstairs and also a private dining room which seats 16-18 people. Try the sweet potato fries

Overall, a lovely addition to Hatch End. Pros: finally a decent oriental type restaurant in the area. Decent sized portions. Tasty food. Very friendly owner. Beautiful decor. Cons: charged £1 for sauces! What oriental type restaurant charges extra for sauces? None in my experience. This is not a necessary cost and made the restaurant look a bit petty in my opinion. All the meals should offer the option of vegetables, prawns and chicken I noticed some didn't eg the Massuman curry which only offered lamb and prawns as options. Cocktail and alcohol prices far too high - c'mon folks we are living in a recession practically. If you want continued business, perhaps consider offering happy hour cocktails to continue getting that footfall through the door once the novelty of being the new restaurant on the block starts to wear off. Look at how well Izgara are always doing with their happy hour cocktails.

Food, drinks, ambience and staff all get a 5 rating! This is a definitely a jewel to the Hatch End high street and here to stay!
