Rude staff, poor service and food quality is bordering on inedible. Avoid at all costs! Keema naan didn’t actually contain any meat, greasy and tasted of old milk.

Ordered a take away tonight - came on time piping hot and wonderful food really tasty deffo recommend for all types of dishes

We hadn’t ordered from this place for years since they let us down. Ordered a delivery this evening, they quoted an hour. It took one hour and forty minutes for an incomplete order to arrive. I told them on the phone what was missing. Two hours and thirty minutes since I placed the order and we still haven’t received the missing dish. We won’t be ordering from them again. Food was average at best.

I ordered from Ruchi which is a local takeaway. Among other items, I ordered Lamb Hasina. It cost me £7.95. But all I got it in was 3-4 pieces of small lamb pieces. the rest of the box was filled with large cut pieces of tomatoes, onions and peppers. It did not look like a lamb dish more like a vegetables dish with a few pieces of lamb thrown in. I agree that restaurants have to make a profit but not at the cost of fleecing their customers. Never going to return.

Ordered the fish Boohah . it was off and reaked of ammonia, my wife was seriously ill . customer service was atrocious . too busy arguing to listen to my complaint , if he listened first then dealt with the issue he would have realised i wasnt after a free dinner , i just wanted to warn him of the importance, and the damage this could cause his establishment. as for the food , well it was below average at best.

I've been to Ruchi several times just not got round to writing a review until now. Someone else recommended them after I bemoaned the lack of decent indian takeaways in the area after our long time favourite went downhill. I discovered through chatting that the chef had moved from said long time favourite which explained why the bindi bhaji was so lovely (amongst other dishes!) Full of flavour, not too much heat unless you want it and nice people to do business with

Not the best but not the worst, portions to small for the price you pay, better in the area, would not return.

Not like most other Indian takeaways these get it right nearly all the time, would always recommend and i am fussy Paul

Our order was 45 minutes late even though pre-ordered 2 hours prior and paid in full. Staff were nothing but rude and very un-apologetic. When the food arrived we were missing some things from our order and they didnt even rectify the issue or compensate for missing food from the order. I would not recommend this place based on the fact that the food was below average and the staff/management were very rude. Please avoid if you can.

Delivery turned up 45 minutes late, person on the phone was rude and so dismissive of my query as to where our takeaway was. Disgusting customer service and manners! “Being busy” is not an excuse when we ordered 1hr 45 minutes in advance! If you want a decent Indian takeaway do not order from this business! Also order was incorrect and barley warm!

Food was average. Customer service was shocking. Extremely rude staff, over an hour late for delivery and order was incorrect. Would NOT recommend.

I saw this takeaway and popped in to order. Poppadums were tasty and cooked in fresh oil, the chicken Xacuti was tasty, if simpler than the traditional dish, decent pilau, decent nan and tasty bhindi bhaji. This is a reasonable, neighbourhood takeaway without pretension and with decent takeaway food. Although this is a low bar, it is better quality than any other Indian takeaway I've tried in the Iver area.

Thought the food here was spot on very tasty and quick delivery. Will be making it a regular takeout

Tried curry from this place and decided Never ever again. All the dishes looked the same ,and tasted reheated. Tried for the first time from this place but will not go back and not recommend. Waste of money. Will go to Iver curry as much better food for takeaway to enjoy at home.

I recently moved to the area and stumbled upon this restaurant. I was very happy with the quality and taste. Definitely one to recommend.

Keep away the food is so bad and smelly I think they cook the food and reheat it the papdoms are smelly of old oil trust me don't waste your money the food is rubbish it's like tin food or ready meals you get at supermarket I think the supermarket ones are much much better keep away

Excellent food best Indian in iver very friendly staff always welcoming and speedy service orders normally ready for collection within 30 mins. good pricing for quality food only wish they had a fine in option

Me encontré con Ruchi por accidente, es ese tipo de lugar, modesto y escondida en el desfile de tiendas fuera de la estación de tren de iver. Tener un par de entregas de pedido, me animé a ir al restaurante que está a un lugar, sin llevar asientos y me metí en una conversación con uno de los propietarios, que luego se reveló que la razón de su comida es tan estupendo es que tuvimos suerte de conseguir uno de los chefs del Paraíso, que ya Curry Mia tristemente fallecido ha ido muy rápidamente cuesta abajo.

Cuando se trata de India tome siempre creo que es una cosa muy personal, ya que todos tienen distintas expectativas y gustos.

Genial para llevar, el uso que de ellas todo el tiempo. A través de comer solo o por teléfono. Precios justos y buenos tiempos de entrega.

Very good food, sadly the rude attitude of the staff don't make it a pleasant meal. Food arrived cold and very rude delivery man! Wont be ordering from here again! Stick to the other restaurants in the area who will welcome your business.

Ruchi is a decent takeaway - dishes in the main are tasty, quickly prepared and its well priced. If you are looking for something quick and easy then suggest a visit

Excellent freshly cooked curry , I wish these guys still ran the restaurant but takeaway is the next best thing

We've been fans of Ruchi for quite a few years now and order from them at least once a week, even though we really enjoy cooking ourselves. It's a great treat, especially at the end of a long working week and we just can't replicate the rich and sumptuous flavours of their dishes. The service is always friendly and prompt and the quality is very consistent. It is so nice to be able to rely on a local firm for great service. We trust Ruchi to the extent that we have ordered from them on quite a few special occasions, including birthdays and Valentine's Day. At this point I must add that my husband did chef training and I am a dedicated 'foodie', so we are rather discerning customers. Although we do like to eat out, there is something truly fabulous about having great food delivered directly to your home. I personally love the fact that the menu has a good selection of vegetarian options (the paneer is the best I have ever tasted) in addition to the traditional dishes that you would normally expect to see. Please keep up the good work guys. We need you! :-)

I have tried this takeaway a couple of times and the food has been fresh, hot and tasty. Good choice of dishes and well worthy of using when you have no time to cook.

This may only be a take away but believe me when I say it is the best curry around. It wipes the floor with every other curry house in and around Iver. Great staff, great simple food.

Love this place so friendly on phone n door from taking order to delivery less than a hour Food is outstanding and more than enough to fill u up to the brim lol

I am from India and a true Indian Non veg lover...the chicken curry and lamb curry was too sweet and not how Indian food is...the chicken was a bit chewy and not juicy. Moreover the food was very oily and the oil was leaking from the takeaway box (see pic attached)

This Resturant is a very nice take away.Food always apears freshly cooked, good portions. I ordered something that's was on an old menu and they did not usually cook that particular dish but they made an exception and cooked it for me. Staff very pleasant nothing toouch trouble.

We are regular users of both the takeaway and delivery service. Easily the best Indian food in the area. Nice guys, polite, friendly and helpful.

Have made us things off menu. Honest about delivery time. Use them all the time. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Keep it up boys

We ordered food for our guests yesterday and gawd we were embarrased to serve it to our guests! The food was HORRIBLY BAD, The mushrooms and okra was saltless n uncooked so was the lamb it had no flavour. we ordered black daal makhani and they sent us paneer. when we told them they, took the paneer back and gave a sweet daal puree! we returned both the things and the staff member was unapologetic and smirked at us and did not even offer us any replacement or refund! all in all it was a nightmare we were embarrased for serving such food to our guests this is definitely our last time here. its a warning ORDER AT OUR OWN RISK.

Let me start by saying I am Indian so though I don't have unachievable standard I can definitely tell the difference between standard fare and something a bit special/different. We rang up Ruchi as we live close by and asked them to spice it up as we were Indian and they kindly agreed. However, what we received, though perfectly edible was uninspiring. So disappointed that our local Indian Takeway isn't great.

Competing with Iver Tandoori Centre for the best local take-away. Excellent food and service and a menu with some suprising variations. Looking forward to seeing them at Party In The Park again on July!
