Had a takeaway delivered Sunday, I heard good reviews about this place...we were disappointed, We had Tandoori and was dry and bland, And beige not red, The other food was tasty, butter chicken was good etc, Also, we didn't get all the order, I phoned to tell them but apparently I hadn't been charged was the answer..not sorry we wrote it down and forgot to cook it or charge you, Will try another one next time

Visiting from overseas and my local friend suggested Ruby’s. Absolutely fantastic and without me asking, they created a smaller creamy dish for my toddler! Such lovely guys and on top of that, it was delicious!

Food arrived piping hot, tasted so fresh and fragrant. The naans were amazing! Highly recommend Ruby's!

Order from Rubys regularly and have never been dissapointed. Tonight my app defaulted to collection instead of delivery. I phoned Rubys and they delivered at short notice within half and hour and it was all still piping hot. We never eat a curry from anywhere else.!!

Rubys is the best Indian for 50 miles.

We very rarely get a take away so when we choose one, it has to be special, as its bloody expensive takeaways nowadays, but rubys is sooooo good. The chicken is so yummy, to be honest every part of my dinner was delicious, bloody love a shashlik. I would have got a photo, but we was so hungry, at hospital all day and was getting late for us anyway. If you want a lovely take away this is one I can wholeheartedly recommend.

Really expensive compared to Cafe Masala across the road which is excellent. Waiter was clearing my partners please before I’d finished, very rude, same waiter wanted to hurry us up, will not be returning.

We have been over to visit my father several times and the food from this restaurant has been great, but this evening unfortunately it was lacking in taste, the Mixed grill did not have an individual flavour in each item.

Overpriced for what it was. Paid £15 for 8 popadoms😳 My chicken tikka masala was spicy and not sweet/creamy. £30 for 6 cokes Staff were not attentive phone Definitely wouldn’t go back. Disappointed as was recommended here

Great food and delivery was earlier than expected!

I had my first Indian meal from these guys today. Collection. I can't comment on the atmosphere in the restaurant just yet 'cause I was a takeaway order, but they were very helpful when I rang with some questions I had prior to making the order and subsequently when I actually made an order about an hour later. Ruby's Ultimate Healthy Takeaway (£12.95). In short Chicken Tikka, Special Salad & Chapati. The Tikka was succulent and delicious. The Special Salad was just divine, although maybe a little spicy for those with a gentler palate, but tempered with some Raita(?) provided (two pots) just added some creamyness and sweetness to the already excellent taste. I'd go so far to say that on its own it'd be just about enough for two, with an extra Chapati, or portion of rice. That'd work out to less than £10/head! Bargain! First impressions are memorable! And my first impressions of these guys is nothing but positive. Happy I went there for my first takeaway. Will be going back for more soon. I've a menu's worth of choices to work through! HIGHLY recommend.

Onion bhaji was microwaved to adventure its life very dry. Crispy curry was cold. Apparently I didn’t order rice, and the bread was cold, so not recommended. Not worth the £36.95 very very disappointed.

Normally Ruby’s is excellent and the food outstanding. Our order yesterday, despite being pre-ordered a couple of hours in advance, was an hour late. The food, although tasty, was unfortunately lukewarm warm. We’ll use Ruby’s again, as this was unusual, which made it all the more disappointing.

Food took far too long to come and when arrived was cold and not enjoyable

I placed an order and after more than 1hour the order was cancelled with no justification… very bad service.

All in all we waited 1hour and 45min. And it said it had been delivered on here before they had actually delivered the food.

Initially 5:45, then it changed after this time to 6pm, then turned up at 6:20pm. Lady didn't even say sorry nothing.

Food was amazing! Such great quality, hot and fresh always love Ruby's. Ordered delivery an hour ahead to arrive at 21.40 but it was delayed 15 mins. We thought as we'd placed the order in advance there would be enough time to prepare

The food quality was good but it was so spicy it made it unpleasant to eat, such a shame as it was nice just way too spicy.

Items was cold and tested completely fowl had to try and get a partial refund from January eat and they are just as useless will not be ordering again ever no replacement from the restaurant just told to go through just eat avoid and go elsewhere

This curry order was amazing, would order it over and over again

One dish was too salty to eat when spoke with the restaurant, Mo, admitted it has happened before when salt has been added and not sugar. Just eat refused a refund on this dish won’t be ordering again

Forgot to send the rice hour after still no rice. Told next time a driver comes this way will delivery it. Ruin the evening.

All the curry's tasted the same when we ordered different ones! £7 for a bottle of beer, no meat in half of the keema Nan. Wasn't very nice.

First time ordering food from here, food was good but delivery time was terrible. Perhaps it’s a 1 off, I’ll give them the Benefit of doubt and will definitely try again. Accordingly there are roadworks at the birchanger round about ?

Out of 10 I'd rate the food a 12, when you add the speedy delivery on top it really was perfect.

Used them a lot , last 2 times taken so long to be delivered, you try to call and it goes to a mobile , when it was delivered the driver did not say a word. Shaslic all fatty. Will not use again….,

We order from Ruby’s a lot and the food is usually lovely and piping hot. Today our food turned up, cold to luke warm at best. The Chicken Tikka Masala was so salty I physically couldn’t eat it. Disappointing since the prices have shot up, costing us £45 for two people. Won’t be ordering again I’m afraid.

This has to be the worst curry I’ve ever tasted. It’s like it’s laced with chemicals. Really unpleasant. Like something is off or literally has had cleaning product spilled in it. The naan was dry and so rubbery. Completely wasted money. And I’m still hungry because o had to dump it.

Honestly the best Indian we’ve had in a very long time. Mouthwatering. Quite expensive for a takeaway but just so delicious. Family of four.

Usually have a decent curry but ordered midweek and was the most tasteless curry ever. Everything had been microwaved to an inch of its life and what I suspect was the weekends leftovers subsequently had zero flavour .. even the phaal!!

Ordered from ruby’s many times and the food is always delicious. They substituted one of our orders at our request as we couldn’t find it in the menu, it’s always delivered early. Will definitely continue to order for the foreseeable future! Best Indian around

Delivery very late. Understand there were problems due to M11 but the restaurant should have advised late delivery time. Spoilt Saturday evening dinner and poppadoms we’re stale.

Herd a lot of good reviews about rubys but I wasn’t that impressed as the rice was hard, onion Bhaji were soggy and under cooked. The naan was very good I must say, but that’s all I could say that was good.

Staff was very rude qs we cancelled some food and reorder shortly after. No refund been given. Staff need training on how they speak to there customers

Worst service as I was alone and my order was less than other customer. I just ignored and other customers came after me they already got food and still I was waiting for my order. Initially I thaut cause its because of less order but then I realised,this bangla speaking waiters and staff running as indian restaurant is actually racist and they gave others priorities because I was not British. Because I just saw even 2 person just order papad and beer they got food before me. Forget about food quality but behavior shows the actual reality of the people. This reviews I am writing inside sitting in restaurant. Still writing this whole things even I oder 20 mins before start writing. Now without eating I am leaving the restaurant.
