The delivery location, which was automatically uploaded by gps, was wrong. The matter was resolved after a phone call and my order was delivered swiftly and courteously. Great service and good food.

Thank you for letting me know that the delivery would be later than expected. The food was hot (temperature). The sweet and sour king prawn balls were crispy and delicious. The pork ribs in bbq sauce were ‘chunky’ and tasted nice. The only trouble was that I had to ‘scrape’ off the sauce as it was far too thick to enjoy the ribs with. The prawn crackers were great! A good meal overall.

I couldn't eat the curry at all it was far to spicy. I like spicy food but this burnt all my throat with the level of spicyness.

This has been my go-to Chinese now for about 2 years. I've never had any complaints. Service is pretty solid. Good lad, always up for a quick chat while ordering. Typically, I stick to the beef chow mein, as a preference, and it's a solid choice. I've also had a chance to try their chicken and noddle soup, small spring rolls, prawn toast, and double happiness... which is an insane portion. It's definitely worth the money spent. I'd say you should give it a go if you get a chance. Good, quick food.

Food was far too salty and too much Chinese five spice on it as it was really overpowering. Shame because it has the potential to be really good.

Excellent Yung Chow Fried Rice, good peking chicken, sauce a bit thin but both with generous portions of meat. Less enamoured with the salt and pepper ribs, would have preferred whole ribs rather than chopped and portion was less generous for the price. Good overall.

I had asked for it to be made a little spicy, instead of adding chilli in the cooking or putting chilli oil separately in a container, there was a huge blob on top of my meal ruining otherwise what was a good dish.

Worst Chinese I’ve ever had chicken balls were over cooked inedible soggy batter,curry was the same to the point I had to spit it out prawn crackers were stail,avoid like the plague

Food arrived the chicken balls were soggy chicken was incredibly dry and tasted horrible likewise with the curry it was as if it was from the day before even the free prawn crackers were stail never order from here again

Great tasting food and the restaurant did call about being early. However, we were still travelling back from holiday! 5-10 minutes here or there is fine, but this was 25. The subset came out again though to deliver and didn't just dump the food at the door! Would order again for sure.

Well what can I say.. put my order in and forgot to take something out on the order, called the restaurant two min and got told can't change it cuz we have already cooked it. You can't cook a chow main in 2 min...

Waited 2 hrs for my food and then said it had been delivered. It hadn't been. Too late to order from anywhere else. Takeaway place not very helpful.

We’ve been ordering from Ruby Garden for almost 10years, recommended it to friends and family who live locally. They used to do a starter called bang bang chicken when I first ordered from them, chicken and cucumber in satay sauce. I was really disappointed when they removed it from the menu but after the update they made it for me one last time. It was my favourite dish and I’ve never found it anywhere else. Their other dishes are great too, especially the chicken and pineapple fried rice

Absolute thieves. Do not order via Uber eats food never arrived had to go to the shop and get proper angry to get my money back. If you call they just keep lying

It really wasn’t nice. Undercooked chicken that was randomly cut, I had to throw it all in the bin. Sorry, but I would rather pay more and get better chicken than deal with this

POOR service and rude staff ordered through Uber eats and it came up saying that they were not able to deliver to my address, so we ordered food from elsewhere and then ruby garden phones me saying that the food is on the way and they have taken £30 and cannot get it refunded and when calling them to tell them we did not complete the order because we weren’t able to and they put the phone down. Rudest people We’ve ever spoken to.

The shrimp was not cook,the beef neither, the chicken taste bland, the special fried rice was like water in rice, more onions the chow mei,sorry but its a no for me.

Avoid like the plague! Rude staff! 2 hour wait time. One delivery driver doing runs all over Birmingham. Order from somewhere else!

Rude staff. Waited well over an hour for order, called to be told no drivers and have to collect. Then told they hadn't received order even though I had an email confirmation. Very rude man on the phone. Won't use again.

Best Chinese food I've ever had

It's mainly the young ladies who run this business and they're always lovely, funny and doing their best maintaining a work life balance (they're teenagers if not younger!) Yardley Wood train station right opposite and only down the road from Stratford Road. Hall Green is the one! Not Hall Green North or South but HALL GREEN.

Avoid !!!! Child on the phone taking orders , always getting it wrong. Then when you phone to tell them -they take ages delivering the right order. Delivery driver took back the wrong food no doubt to heat up to give to someone else !!!!! Quality of food not good anyway. Won't use again

Absolutely awful service. Ordered food an came within reasonable time, food wasn't cooked properly and cold even though the place is only down the road! Called the company to talk to them and asked to speak to the manager who was very rude and hung up on me. Would not recommend one bit.

Absolutely terrible waited nearly double the lower time stated at order which was 45 minutes when arrived expected us to pay which we refused and then on inspection of the food most of the prawns in the rice hadn't been de-veined. Will never order from here again

TERRIBLE so we have been going here for years and not had many problems, however, it has gone down hill. even the shops looks dirty and dated now. the food quality is not what it once was and the prices keep going up plus who still charges 50p for a card payment when they have had this facility for many years now! We will not be returning after the last incident. we had 2 currys, rice and chips, after being told on order delivery will be 30-40 mins after 50 minutes i called was told its on the way, after another 20 minutes i called only to be told i have not ordered! she phoned the driver called me back an said he had taken it to wrong place and they will cook me fresh food to be delivered in 15 mins, over 20 mins later it arrived, whilst eating it i found a long thick black hair!!! called complained they offered to send a fresh one which i refused as it had put me off my food and i wanted a refund, ahe said i can if i give back the food which was fine, driver came back and examined the bag called the shop who refused to give me my money after nearly 20 minutes on the phone she told the driver to give me my money... ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE! will never return

Don't even want to rate 1 star never mind 5!!! Aromatic duck!!!!! More like duck scratchings!!! Totally dissapointed and appalled that they are refusing a replacement or refund!!! I shall never order from there again
