Ruby Garden Chinese Takeaway in Middlesbrough

Special chow mein 0 taste ,meat all looks bad ,will not come back gone right down hill ,will never return ,curry sauce just cheap curry powder .

Normally love the food from here but tonight my meal was cold.. I also asked for for a meal to be put in a silver tin rather than a plastic tub which the girl said yes no problem, it turned up in a plastic tub and the meat was chewy not nice at all.

First time we tried this place tonight for a change from our usual. Ordered a magic box and it was honestly the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. The food was absolutely tasteless! It tasted like it was just old food that had been reheated so ended up in the bin. Never again.

Decided to call in on thr way past for some food. Glad I did the chicken chow mein was delicious

Absolutely disgusting meal was cold not nice at all then when we rang to explain. The women was disgusting speaking to customers in that way would not recomend, avoid, avoid, avoid

Having a take away is a treat always had a lovely meal and service from Ruby Gardens,. Today ordered a meal for 2 £25 expected usual lovely meal. It was not nice it was cold far too salty and expected pork not sausage meat. Rang to say It wasn't what I expected told ok and phone put done on me. I know they will not care but I will never be ordering from them again. They need to remember customer service is everything

Worst Salt and pepper ribs I have ever had they had a weird batter on and were dripping in grease prawn toast like cardboard load of rubbish only ordered from here because my usual was closed will not be ordering again

I have been using Ruby Garden for about 10 years now. The food is absolutely fantastic. The staff are very friendly including the boss. They are very accommodating if you ask for extra peppers or onions etc. they will give you it. The delivery service is good and the food arrives hot. I can fully recomend Ruby Garden and I'm sure you will as we'll.

Food was exactly as we had hoped warm.very fast delivery and no errors...Getting what your ordered without errors seems like a win often with takeaways but these never fail...delivery was fast also even though there was a big world cup game on...will order from again.

Special Kung Po, ask for hot, if you like it spicy, it's absolutely amazing, it comes with peanuts, but if don't like peanuts, ask for it without them, I've been getting this for over ten years now, and it's the only one I get from here, because it's so good.

First Chinese meal for a while, it was beautiful. No problem whatsoever.

This restaurant is one of the best Chinese in Middlesbrough been ordering from here since I was a child but the last three times I have ordered from here the order has not been what I ordered, the woman taking the orders doesn't have a clue what she is doing because she isn't writing down what I'm ordering.

Food is delicious and staff are Brill

Tried to order the usual for a couple who always get their food there...lady on phone even started repeating the order before I'd finished so let her complete what she were saying...to which I said yes same as usual...sent them wrong order,tried to phone them back to receive mouthful and the phone put down on me!! I wouldn't usually care but the order weren't even for me it were for a friend

This is an experience not to be missed. I've had food from here quiet often and to be honest it's always been exactly what I expected it to be. It's always been absolutely lovely and even when delivered has been piping hot when I served it up. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the service has been excellent. Very extensive menu and not expensive. Good experience not to be missed.

Lovely food been ordering for over 10 years

Delivered within 20 minutes piping hot, do live close by, very tasty Chicken Chowmein and Chicken in Black Bean sauce , a tad salty but lovely, will order again.

Chicken and sweet corn soup was like warm water.No meat on the ribs. Flat and greasy prawn toast 40 pound for a load of rubbish

Best Chinese take a way in the north east

Just bought king prawn egg foo yung . Got it home. It's cold and watery and only 5 prawns in it . Chips are also cold . Disgusting. Wont be going back there again

Don't normally give ratings, but felt I had to, best chinese I've had in years, kids loved it, piping hot delicious chunky food and to tee off the delivery driver was very chirpy, thanks for the lovely meals, we all enjoyed. Great stuff! Keep it up!

Are they not open on Tuesdays now, they are not answering the phone at all
