Rubins Coffee in Harrogate

Rubin's is one of the best go to places in Harrogate, I've taken grandparents, friends and children. Always lovely good quality food. The staff are always lovely and give you a warm welcome. I decided to drop by after a dog walk spontaneously and they welcomed my dogs. I unfortunately had a lady comment how dogs shouldn't be welcome in restaurant. (Only one side of the restaurant is dog friendly) The staff handle it with making me and the other lady feel welcomed and respected. Always leave looking forward to going back.

Beautiful place with delicious and extremely reasonably priced food. I had a breakfast bagel and Rubin’s Margarita and it was super. The staff were so lovely and brought me a cake on the house and sang me happy birthday 🩷

Staff so friendly, polite and so generous I believe the owner looked after my little boy and gave him a little treat so very kind of him. Service and food just amazing very accommodating. My new favourite place to eat and the interior is so pretty.

Absolutely love Rubin’s we are locals here and the atmosphere is great, so modern and funky , definitely child friendly, the staff are so friendly and helpful and funny, CANT reccoment enough, yummy!

Dined for the first time with the family Xmas Eve . Every person in the party enjoyed their meal . Everything ordered was delicious, generous portions and nicely presented. Definitely worth a visit. The owner was extremely gracious and generous with extra desserts for the party which was a very kind gesture.

We just had a lovely evening meal for four there. The atmosphere is very nice, the service good, but the food... Totally excellent. Had probably the best lamb kofta I've eaten in ... Quite a long time. Perfect flame grilled flavour and texture. The others had chicken dishes that were also excellent. Very large portions too, so while not that cheap, is still pretty good value for what you get.

Great food and lovely staff. There are clearly marked options for veggies, vegans and they do gluten free options too, so it's a great place to go to cater for different needs. They also itemise the bill per seat so it's really easy to sort the bill for big groups.

The service is very good, the boys are friendly and serve well. Especially Sinan, he is very polite, respectful, and attentive in the way he serves and takes care of his clients. It’s amazing. This young man (Sinan) is a great asset to Rubin’s.

Only went in for a tea and coffee. Greeted by a smart very polite man who showed us to a very clean,well laid table. We ordered our drinks,they came within minutes, very nice. The service was excellent ,what a great experience, a must place to try.

Food was good and I'd happily recommend the chicken wrap. Only slight letdown was one of the waiters failed to take our desert order or pass on that we needed condiments. However the other waiter was great as well as apologetic.

Lovely venue with outdoor seating, perfect for summer. Very friendly and attentive staff. The full Turkish breakfast was excellent, amazing flavours and fantastic portion size. The coffee was great, and they have cafe combon for Spanish coffee lovers

Really wanted to like this place, the setting is great with the glass front, you're almost sat on the street and able to take in all the surroundings but when we arrived, we have to wait nearly 25 minutes for drinks order to be taken and then another 10 mins for drinks to arrive even though there was only 5-6 tables in use in total. We ordered mains and my wife's chicken was rubbery and chewy, we sent it back. We were also disappointed with the service e.g. the waiter came and brought our drinks but left the wine unopened so I had to ask for him to come back and open it. I won't be recommending this place to anyone visiting Harrogate.

Great location, lovely seating outside (but covered), wide menu choice for both food and drink, good food quality and great service. A very enjoyable lunch.

We looked at a few places before deciding to eat at Rubins and so glad we chose this place. We sat in the conservatory area and although it was a little cooler outside it was toasty warm. We had starter and mains and both were delicious, my only regret was not having space for dessert as they looked amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Came for a Birthday Brunch with Family and everything was gorgeous! Food was delicious and a great price, The refresher drinks were amazing and service was excellent from Sinan and Kai! Nice suntrap in the afternoon too.

Just had one of the best meals in Harrogate at Rubins. Sinan and Kai were wonderfully attentive and provided excellent table service.

Customer service was excellent , we only had drinks but the staff and service by Sinan was excellent and we will definitely return to have a meal as they looked amazing !

Went for lunch with my elderly mum. The waiter and owner made us so welcome and even asked the chef to cook a dish especially for my mum. We were really impressed by the service and the food. We loved sitting outside watching the world go by.

During my visit to Harrogate to see family, I stumbled upon Rubin's, it was the best discovery of my trip! I practically lived there the entire time. For all you digital nomads out there, Rubin's is a paradise. There are plugs galore, so you’ll never be scrambling for an outlet, and the food? Some of the best cuisine in Harrogate. The portions are enormous, delicious, and won’t break the bank. And to top it off the staff aren’t just lovely; they’re the absolute best. They’ll make you feel like the most important person in the world, going above and beyond to ensure you have an amazing time. I’ve experienced great customer service, but Rubin’s takes it to a whole new level. In a nutshell, if you work online or just enjoy fantastic food and stellar service, Rubin's is the place to go. It’s the kind of place that makes you wonder if you can sneak it into your suitcase and take it home with you. Thank you guys for being my second home!

Came here for a birthday lunch after passing by many times. To say I was surprised is an understatement, absolutely stunning food with super friendly and attentive staff. Big shoutout to Kai who was quite literally the funniest, friendliest waiter we’ve ever had! Highly recommend visiting!!

First time visiting and Wow!! What an amazing dining experience! Everything was excellent, from the welcome on arrival to our fabulous waiter Kaioken who was attentive and knowledgeable with fantastic recommendations on all aspects of the menu. All the gentlemen front of house were super lovely. The venue is gorgeous and the atmosphere was calm and relaxed and on the one day of sunshine this year we sat in the conservatory at the front of the restaurant with open picture windows to the street. And to the food… it was amazing. Freshly prepared, fantastic flavours and beautifully presented. We were celebrating my daughter’s 21st birthday (Mum & daughter lunch) and she even got a candle in a slice of cake. She was so touched and we both thoroughly enjoyed our special occasion. I would highly recommend Rubin’s Harrogate. from the personalised floor tiles to the comfy seats and the overall ambience, it was just perfect! Thank you Kaioken 🦋

A great lunch out!! It was a warm sunny day. We sat on the outside, which added to the Mediterranean feel. The service was great, the food was excellent, I had a pint of Morretti, which was the best I've ever had!! Definitely recommend and will definitely return!!

Went with a friends and had a wonderful experience and some amazing food. I had the chorizo smashed burger, garlic mushrooms. My friend had the fully smashed burger. They are so good and fully of flavour they are out of this world.

Nice lunch on a warm day. Nearly too hot, they could do with blinds on the top window panes. Not cheap.

We had breakfast at Rubins on a busy Bank Holiday. The food was delicious, Kai looked after us really well and we will definitely be back again. Highly recommended.

Went for breakfast today and was very pleasantly surprised. Our waiter Kai was a delightful, accommodating young man who was also very funny. Our food was delicious and the menu varied and interesting. We would highly recommend and will return next time we visit Harrogate.

We recently had a main meal (1 course) at Rubin's where we were immediately greeted very warmly as we entered. We were shown to our table and mentioned my wife sometimes get cold and the owner turned up the heater above our heads. Fair to say we were as snug as a bug in a rug. The waiter Kai was very friendly and helpful The food was very goodand we thoroughly enjoyed it but the service was superb There is quite an eclectic menu offering both Italian and Turkish meals The atmosphere was both friendly and warm We would recommend this restaurant for sure. Give it a go

My first visit to Rubins will definitely not be my last! The service and food were superb. Their attention to detail was apparent in everything. The food was wonderfully tasty and the portion sizes were generous. Beautifully presented too. The piano was an amazing addition to the atmosphere of the place and whilst eating there at lunchtime several people played. Including a delivery driver that came in to drop a parcel. This gave the place a real buzz. A super restaurant with a genuine vibrancy.

Nice place for a pre concert meal. They are open past 5pm which is perfect when you are in Harrogate for a 7.30 performance. Centrally located, just a 3 minute walk from a bus station.

Such a lovely elegant place to dine. The staff at warm and welcoming and see to your every need. The restaurant is big and has lots of seating in the outer area it is also has heating which made it super cosy. Now for the good bit.. the food. UNREAL!! the portion sizes were excellent some smaller and some bigger for varying appetites and each dish was delicious and cooked to perfection - even the chips 😂 I would definitely come here again especially for the good value as a group of 4 who had a meal each and drinks for £45 I think is good for this economy.

Whilst looking for somewhere to have breakfast during our stay I found Rubins and was intrigued by the menu and Gluten Free choices they offered. We also wanted somewhere nice for our last day and this ticked all the boxes. It absolutely exceeded expectations! We were greeted by the most friendly, attentive and helpful staff, an amazing place with beautiful decor and a great vibe and absolutely amazing food! Their Gluten Free options are impressive and I loved being able to chat to the staff there for recommendations. Their tea menu is wild! They have so many amazing blends to offer and a great knowledge to help you find a tea that’s good for you. Their coffee menu is equally as good and we opted for a Yorkshire blend Tea and Turkish coffee - we all really enjoyed our choices. The food - wow! We had pancakes (which are handmade!!!), a Full English, Shakshuka and I had the Menemen (Gluten Free) and everything was perfect and super tasty. I was actually eyeing up all other food coming past as it looked amazing too! As we sat eating we said we MUST come back for dinner very soon :) They also have the most incredible patisserie with cakes to suit everyone so I brought home a Vegan and Gluten Free Millionaire Shortbread which was fabulous! Food, service, coffee, atmosphere all comes together to make this an absolutely amazing independent place to visit for anything from a cup of tea to a full on food spread! Thanks so much team it was AMAZING!!!

Beautiful cafe with delicious, richly flavorful coffees! We popped in here for our late afternoon coffee-fix and was highly impressed with this restaurant! We will definitely be returning to have lunch or dinner and of course desserts! The staff is amazing too! I’m from Los Angeles and I wish this was there!

An elderly disabled friend and myself tried this place out not long after it opened. The staff were so friendly at the door welcoming us to browse the menu. I'm vegetarian and my friend had special dietary requirements. The menu extensive we both had plenty of choice. Driving back from York to the lakes I had my twin sister with me and decided to pop in again. As before the welcome was fantastic, friendly efficient service. The door never stopped, continuous stream of customers, some regulars and some new it seemed. These guys are obviously doing something right. Great food, ample portions. excellent service with a smile. I'll surely be back (The Gingers)

After lots of walking I am so glad we stopped into Rubin’s. Firstly, it was near the end of the night. Our server was a hoot and really lovely to have wait on us. The atmosphere was fun and eclectic, yet cozy. I had the Chicken parm and Carmel cheesecake. My husband had a burger , Oregon cheesecake and Oreo frappe. Additionally, they didn’t have pork, which was a plus for us and very hard to come by in UK. Truly, I can honestly say it is some of the best food I/we have ever had. I am so glad we stooped in . It was a wonderful experience all around! We will definitely be back. Cheers!

My favourite milkshakes in town 😍 I love the variety of drinks the cafe offers and the portions are well big for the price ! They have lovely ice creams in the summer too and must I mention the delightful cakes 😍 My favourite 🙌

Breakfast at Rubin's is possibly the best in Harrogate! This cafe which also does dinner is a new favourite for me and my partner, the staff are always very friendly, thank you Alberto! The food is tasty, plenty and value I had the smoked salmon eggs Benedict which was 10/10 I believe they're also dog friendly!

We visited on Christmas eve. 10 of us. We were sat on a gorgeous table at the front with lovely christmas lights and cosy atmosphere. Customer service was amazing and the food was gorgeous. I would definitely recommend a visit to rubins

Fatoush salad was lovely and fresh. Batata Hara unfortunately was clearly microwaved and soggy. Halloumi wrap had Thai sweet chilli sauce which was a strange combination. Turkish coffee was great, unfortunately the 2nd coffee was forgotten and asked for the bill after waiting 15 minutes for it.

Looking for a nice lunch so bobbed in on cold day with our friend who was visiting. Nice tea selection and two amazing platters(1 cold, 1 hot). Mains was very filling after our first course and my wife's a little cold(sorted fantastically by the gentleman). The younger staff could do with relaxing a little and enjoying serving being my only criticism.

Fabulous cakes and lots of drink options. Really affordable prices Staff are friendly and attentive. Found this gem on a previous stay in Harrogate and I was worried that it might not live up to the memory I had. I had no need to worry as it was as wonderful as I had remembered. So I stumbled across this gem of a place yesterday and WOW it took my breath away I was greeted with such lovely warm friendly waiters who showed us too our table. The menu was impressive as was the food, drinks ambience and the restaurant itself. The waiters made sure we were ok asking us if we needed anything else which we didn't as we all throughly enjoyed our scrumptious meal. To top off an amazing meal we finished off with some dessert from the gorgeous patisserie and a lovely mild oolong tea just what I needed to digest those melt in the mouth dessert Thank you so much Firhan for your warm kind hospitality Highly recommend 👌 Ps I just want to add they serve No Alcohol which is an absolute bonus...wish you the success in your venture.

Called here for lunch, food and service alright, but the meal was ruined by a dog barking and whining. Staff made no attempt to stop the racket.

Amazing service and brilliant food. The staff were lovely and one guy in particular couldn't have done more from us. We were at a convention over the weekend and it was so good, we went back the next day.
