Ru Yi Chinese Takeaway in Warrington

I don't order Chinese takeaway alot because I'm always disappointed with bland food or it doesn't taste fresh etc but recently I've come across Ru Yi and I've found a hidden gem. I've had a few orders now and the food always tastes freshly made and lots of flavour. My new fave Chinese and I have been recommending it to family and friends

Unfortunately the order Ru Yi had was missing the curry sauce. My order had it on but theirs didn’t. We got the salt and pepper combo that was originally on my order and then disappeared. All very odd. But when I called about the sauce one of the staff said ‘not my problem’. Service not great. Had to drive over for the sauce which defeats the objective of takeaway so by the time we sat to eat it was cold and actually rather tasteless

Delicious food, Best Chinese I've had in a while. Generous portion size's, pipping hot on arrival.. Definitely will be ordering again.

soup bland ,spare do in batter which is not listed on men as wife is gluten tolerant and mine were horrible and as for the salt pepper chips worst i have every had yuk .

Ordered honey chili ribs which weren’t sparkling. They were much better on previous orders. The prawn curry was not upto standard. Very runny. The House Curry was excellent. Totally different in consistency to the Prawn curry. Overall very disappointed.

Ordered for the first time this evening. Forgot to order fried rice online and was impressed that when I phoned my details had come up on their phone as I was greeted with my first name. Ordered the fried rice and agreed to pay extra on delivery. Delivery was on time and delivery chap was nice. Food was hot on arrival. We had ordered for 4 of us and for 2 people the meals were good. However the ribs with honey and chilli sauce were in some kind of batter which was not advertised (team suggest that the menu is updated to advise there is a batter on them) and the Salt & Pepper chicken noodle box disappointed as the batter was thick on the chicken and there was no vegetables in the box at all as you would expect with salt & pepper meals (peppers, onions at minimum). Unfortunately won’t be ordering again from this establishment.

Ordered for dinner, we had an issue with the sweet & sour chicken which we called up about and was quickly and professionally resolved, great food.

First time ordering & was very impressed with the menu & choice for vegetarians. The food was fresh & really tasty (mock chicken in chilli & garlic sauce with soft noodles & salt & pepper chips) My order was delivered speedily by a lovely chap. This will be my go to takeaway from now on.

The salt and paper sreaded chicken was the best. Crispy and good portion. The noodle had too much veg in it. Especially too much bean sprouts. I wanted noodle with some veg and not vica versa.

I ordered already a couple of times. The food is delicious and always warm and a lot. If you like Chinese food you can’t be disappointed. I always collect so I know they are friendly people.

Good lovely and hot only thing beef in pepper sauce had no taste at all and for £4.40 salt and pepper chips there was not many

Food was stone cold, had to use the microwave to warm the food up, not worth it at all, can’t reheat salt n pepper chips nor prawn toast, wasn’t happy at all, won’t be using this place again, can’t believe I tried to ring 5 times to complain and no answer at all, will go back to our normal Chinese and collect it myself

Ordered from here because of high rating and usual Chinese was closed, I’m not sure how it has one or whether it just wasn’t up to its usual standards?! Salt and pepper chicken was soggy, chicken and sweetcorn soup very very bland, spring rolls soggy, I would say mediocre at its best. It arrived on time and driver was friendly but it clearly hadn’t travelled well. Won’t be using again.

Have ordered from here for a number of times now, love the food, ribs are great, always arrives hot, don’t plan on delivery times as always early, my go to restaurant

Singapore Vermicelli was nice BUT everything else wasn’t comparable to the usual place we order from, tried here cos of the high rating.. small portion of s&p chicken, s&p chips were soggy, prawn toast was very thin (not a lot of meat on it at all), ribs were dry, overall just poor. late delivery won’t help but even if it was on time I don’t think it would’ve improved the quality.

Oh dear what was that! Beef curry full of mushrooms minus the beef. Soggy chicken wings. Sweet and sour was alright. Won't use again.

Ordered twice in a month. Very tasty food. I opt to go and pick it up myself, food is prepared very swiftly and is hot ready for pick-up promptly. Hidden gem. I have not been impressed by the spring rolls but their udo dishes, egg fried rice, and pork dishes are amazing, also surprisingly very easy to digest, not feeling bloated the next day. Excellent.

Food was tasty. However the bag containing the chips was ripped and chips all out the bag. The gravy and curry lids had come off probably as not proper lids so was a congealed mess in the bag.

At £11 the salt & pepper combo box was mediocre. Good taste but too little for how much you get. The lemon chicken was good but the chow mien was flavourless and overpowered by noodles. Can’t say I’ll ever order from here again given the competition.

I really recommend this chinese takeaway. We have ordered many times now and never been disappointed. If you are looking for a good quality chinese meal this is definitely the place to order from.

The soup was okay spring rolls only just warm chicken curry was okay but we have had better chicken foo young absolutely disgusting only warm looked and tasted burnt won't be ordering again .

Wow, we really did enjoy this take away, the food was great, really tasty and not salty unlike most other takeaways we have had recently. The delivery guy was really pleasant when dropping the food off. I had Beef with Ginger and spring onions which was so nice. Our other meals were Salt and pepper chicken, Sweet and sour chicken and chicken fried rice, all were amazing. Definitely use this takeaway in the future!! 👍👍👍👍👍

I love this Chinese restaurant, I have ordered from here a number of times and have never been disappointed, the only thing I would suggest is the prawn toast is very thin, but I’m used to mr Lou’s prawn toast
