Lovely place but the menu is not changed frequently enough, gets a bit boring and repetitive, also didn’t have mint sauce for the lamb. Jane was a lovely server, very efficient and smiley x

Service from Jane was excellent

Took another granddaughter to Ego for a treat. Food was as good as ever. Cocktail offer was fun. January special 50% offer has been very generous. Staff were delightful - big smiles from Jane. We were in our usual area, so Jane is getting used to looking after us and cashing in our vouchers and offers. Beef Bourguinon was all gone, but kebabs were fine.

On our most recent visit we were served by Laura who went above & beyond to ensure that we always had drinks and that our little ones were catered for. Delicious meal at Egos our favourite local restaurant. The food was excellent and we were well looked after by Bianca. She was friendly and welcoming. I had left a birthday cake for our daughter which she presented beautifully.

Tuesday tea at Egos was excellent this week. Although we were a little early, the staff swiftly found us a table. Service was was quick and efficient, and we were well looked after by our waitress, Jane. I enjoyed the halloumi kebab and my husband enjoyed the lamb kleftiko. An enjoyable evening with good food and excellent service.

I usually visit cafe ego at least once a week. We came last night and was served by the lovely Jane. We cannot recommend the food enough and the service was second to none. Jane in particular is a shinning star within cafe ego. So warm, friendly and extremely helpful.

its ok ....lunch time meals are not bad

Went for a family celebration and took advantage of the 'steak night' menu which worked out really well. All had steak of different cuts and all cooked as requested and delicious. Starters were tasty and a big vote of confidence for the Lamb Kofta which were well received. finished off with sweets al round and coffee and teas. In the main we were looked after by Jane who gave us the benefit of being very attentive and did all that is necessary without fuss and very obliging. Thank you you made our family celebration a very good night and one to remember.

Very good food and service. We went there on 23rd December, full of people for holiday season but service was very good. I got shrimps for starter, duck for main and sticky toffee pudding for desert. My husband got carrot soup, beef, and Christmas pudding. All tasty.

The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. A special shoutout to our waitress, who I believe is called Chloe, who was incredibly helpful throughout our meal. She was attentive, friendly, and made excellent recommendations that enhanced our dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy a wonderful meal in a welcoming atmosphere!

Booked a table for my daughter’s 5th birthday. Arrived 10mins before the booking to be told they had us down for an earlier time and had already closed the kitchen. This would have been hard to swallow even if we hadn’t had an email (attached) and 3 telephone calls from the restaurant to confirm we were coming. Clearly they wanted an early night, reservations be damned.

We had a really great meal here with family, sharing olives/hummus/fishcakes for starters and then had chicken and pork dishes for mains. The vibe of the place was lively, staff were lovely (special mention to Matilda, who served us and was really friendly and helpful) and the price pretty reasonable for the high quality of the food. A really enjoyable night!
