If there is a queue at Rozana, it's because each Lebanese wrap is assembled and grilled to order. Traditional flatbread is topped with hummus, garlic and chili sauces, falafel/lamb/chicken and your salad selection. The counter staff are friendly and there's pistachio baklava.

Review: Comptoir Libanais, Oxford Stepping into Comptoir Libanais in Oxford is a visual treat—the vibrant decor immediately sets a lively and inviting atmosphere. The staff are exceptionally welcoming, adding to the warm first impression. However, my experience fell short when it came to the food. While the hummus and mixed grill were flavorful, the portions were disappointingly small for the price, even after paying an extra £5 for a larger serving. Given the cost, I expected more in terms of both quantity and overall taste, especially compared to other Mediterranean restaurants. It felt like I was paying more for the ambiance than the meal itself. To top it off, there’s a 12.5% service charge, which, while optional, adds to the feeling that this isn’t the best value for money. Sadly, it’s not a place I’d return to—next time, I’ll be looking elsewhere for a more satisfying Mediterranean dining experience.
