Don't book with this hotel directly they will rip you off if you make a mistake about the booking date. And not answer their phone if you attempt to correct it immediately. What cheaters, poor customer service.

The worst Hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was absolutely disgusting, very dirty, tiny, everything in the bathroom was covered in rust, the carpet looked like it hasn't been hoovered. The walls are so thin that I could here the neighbours upstairs using the toilet regularly during the night, showering at 2 AM, using the hair dryer afterwards.... I barely slept 2 hours!!!

We stayed there for three days without hot water (3 weeks ago). We where told they would be in touch about a partial refund, but never received any communication.

3 nights no hot water, uncomfortable beds, stale breakfast, no change of towels, staff placating the guests. £260 + £18 for parking. Their partial refund was £20. That's what the discomfort of having 3 days with no hot water (freezing cold showers only), and a discount on our next stay, which we're not going to have. The only really good thing is the location.

It's a 30 minute walk from the Expo Center, so if there's no bus, you can walk to get there.

Distance from NEC and Marston Green with eating places is 10mins, so location is OK. Breakfast of cereals, toast, croissants and fruit with juice and coffee was good. Our double room on the ground floor was acceptable but not sure it was worth the price we paid. The double bed was actually 2 singles pushed together so the mattresses tried to separate throughout the night. The sheets did not fit properly so moved. The top sheet and duvet again did not fit so kept getting a draft through the night. Hot water was tepid until the last morning when it was quite hot. Heating not on in our room on our last night. Definitely not impressed with paying £6 a day for parking on their own land, should have been included in the room price. Unfortunately we will not return to this property

Staff is friendly however they charge you 10£ for checking in past 23.30, which is something I find ridiculous as it's an 24 hour reception. Room was noisy, dirty and above all quite tiny. Breakfast was just toast and cereal....

The hotel is about 10 minutes away from the airport, National Exhibition Centre or Birmingham International Train Station by taxi and I do believe you can hop on a bus from very near by in order to reach the airport. From Birmingham International Station you can catch the fast trains to London. There is also another station quite close (again about 5-10 minutes in a cab). Marston Green is handy for travelling into Coventry or Birmingham itself. Naturally, if you are driving then the city is very accessible from this hotel. If, like me, you are around for a few days then the local area is useful. Marston Green and its urban area has a fair range of outlets. There is an Asda roughly 25 minutes walk away in Chelmsley Wood Shopping Centre where, of course, there is a range of other outlets including a great breakfast café (Jac's Café), which does a great variety including the Full English!. On the particular subject of Full English brekkies, Asda does a good one and so does the café at the Three Trees Community Centre, which is a little closer to the hotel. I didn't try The Picnic Basket, by the station in Marston Green, for breakfast but I understand that they do a famously massive one if you have that kind of appetite. The Hotel has a bar which is really handy but the area is a little sparse regarding such places. The very near one is truly a 'local' and whilst I am glad to have visited it, I am not sure I would venture back. In Marston Green itself, again very close to the Station, there is a the Marston Green Pub. This serves a fair variety of beers and has a convivial atmosphere. For those who need something to munch after the pub, very close by there is a selection of takeaway restaurants. I would like to give a mention to the owners of the Hotel who did their absolute utmost to make sure that my stay was comfortable. They were very welcoming and interesting to chat to.

It’s ok. Nice people running it. Wanted to try it rather than cave in to the next door Greggs! Was hoping it would be a hidden gem kind of place but more bland and basic. Cash only. Price wise - cost £9.50 for the jacket & toasted sandwich.
