We have been looking for a new place for our weekly takeaway curry after becoming disillusioned with another restaurant’s service. This one didn’t disappoint! We ordered our usual sag paneer, tarka dhal and garlic fried rice and it was all delicious! Came with free poppadoms too! The only negative was that the food came in plastic containers and we prefer foil so that we can keep them warm in the oven. But we will definitely order again!

Brilliant food but To expensive

After receiving my order parts of the order was missing, I hade chicken tikka madras the chicken was cooked good however I have never had a plate of water left on my plate in all my years of eating Indian food. Highly recommend to give this one a miss

Spot-on takeaway. Sadly, just a takeaway. If there was scope for a restaurant I think they'd do very well. We've been looking for a place to match the now no-more Shahimahal by the Fox & Goose. And the Royal Spice was recommended on a Facebook group. I have to agree, they're 95% there. Fabulous chicken balti and very good mushroom fried rice too. Only negatives are the balti was a tad too chilli hot for the wife (lightweight curry eater), no lamb available, and they're cash-only.

I have always had curry from here as i am yet to find a better curry place. The food is always piping hot and very tasty, the only rare downside is that it can be a little bit oily but this doesn’t effect the flavour too much. Only had two bad meals from here after years and years of ordering. Would definitely recommend, i’ve been to very nice curry restaurants and this curry house makes that curry seem mediocre. The atmosphere also doesn’t need to be great as it’s a pick up/delivery place.

Best curry house around absolutely faultless we used to be regular users of lime and pickle but we won’t go anywhere else now 10/10

Service given by person taking order was excellent and the delivery driver was very polite. l ordered a chicken byriani full of flavour and the veg sauce was to, a popodum and onion salad are complimentary.

First try and we got food poisioning. Wont use again.

Absolutely faultless! We've just placed a fairly large order. Everything was so hot when I got it home. (Less than 2 miles away) packaged up brilliantly! So so tasty! We usually only order from one curry house but since moving over this way I have been waiting to find a decent one. Defo won't order from anywhere else now! 5* for sure! Brilliant customer service! Only been ordering for about 6 months, food was fab to start with, then slowly declined with tough gone off chicken that you couldn't get your knife through, then when you tell them the next time, it's a chicken supplier issue, but after last night after about 6 weeks of not ordering, we were right to never be using again, same old tough chicken and quite greasy food, £30 down the drain. Won't be using again.

1st time customer and I will be back again. Tasty fresh cooked large portions of food and a faultless customer service. Highly recommended

Every time I order for delivery or collection the food is always hot and fantastic. Customer services at the front desk to delivery at your door always professional and never had a bad meal.

For a few years we've had our meals from another curry house, this is the first time we have had a meal from Royal Spice recommended to us by a family member. We won't be using our previous curry house anymore the meal from Royal Spice was the best we've ever had. Royal Spice definitely have us as new regular customers. Ok I try to be fair when giving a review, as with the negatives I try to highlight the positives, the positives are the shish kebab and nan bread were ok the rest went straight into the bin, they use boiler chickens which are vile and distract from the taste of the curry, I tried this place after a leaflet drop through the door and I will not be returning.

Order from here at a minimum of once a week, they always look after me, remember my name and ask about the family, the foods great!!!!! Great people great food

I called to make an order and guy who answered phone was very unprofessional, he was angry and very snappish. He made me feel very uncomfortable, I actually apologised and asked jim to cancel what I had asked for due to the way he spoke to me.

why are taking orders and cash when you can't deliver tonight due to problems with gas ?

Just ordered the curry was amazing and the service was good however the naan wasn't sweet enough and also the side of onions and.mint yogurt wasn't enough to share between two when we had a mega deal

I've been ordering from here without issue for 10 years . Lovely food no complaints until a few months ago. Ordered my food as daft as sounds ordered tandoori chicken breast starter. Got a leg. Oh well next order same phones to complain....!!!!!!! Response is we don't have any oh ok not to worry. Today called checked do u have tandoori chicken breast before I order guy says yes so place order. Food comes a leg. 😤 not impressed so call. Response is we don't have and the person that u ordered with obviously didn't check with the kitchen what u want us to do about it. Well. Don't lie in the first place i don't spend money on something i wont eat and second don't respond in the way you did. Quite sadly I will not be ordering from here again

One the best indian food I've had in my visit in UK. I was craving some Indian food latley and was driving to friends house. On the way saw the restaurant and thought of trying it. As I'm from an asian american I know some of the dishes and how they should taste. I ordered shish kabab, nan, chicken tikka masala and lamb curry. Every one of the dishes had a welcoming and tastey vibe in it. Not to mwntion the taste was very good in comparison to other nearby takeway/restaurants. If you are craving or want to taste Indian food I would recommend this place.

Never had a problem ordering from here before but ordered a combination meal tonight and literally had 4 small pieces of chicken in the one curry. Not the best considering you pay more for chicken tikka and get only 4 small pieces. I rang to try ask about this but the man on the phone just spoke over me and said you only get 4 pieces and that if I want to go else where that's fine, clearly great customer service. Won't waste our time ordering from here again.

Good sized portions and tasty, convenient take away if you are in the area.

Very good takeaway. Excellent value for money and great delivery time. Tandoori mix starter is a great portion, sheekh kebab is very flavoursome. Murghi keema special is very different and goes very well with garlic nan. Keep it up guys.

I used these for about 7 yrs now and I only lived around the corner I've now moved to Sheldon and still they bring it to me hot and fresh, thanks lads

First time we ordered from here and it is only up the road from us.Our meal came on time,piping hot.It was the best takeaway I have had in ages.Very polite delivery guy who delivered our food,very polite on the phone. Would recommend eating from here.We will be using them again 😊

would not recommend orded a chicken curry i don't know how to explain what I received but it wasn't eatable by any means. unfourtunatly i eat a small amount but it has made me ill .
