Food was late and I guess we were the last drop of by the driver. Food was not hot anymore and not that enjoyable. Not really any taste in the curries. The meat was also really hard. Chips were soggy as going cold and had sat in a paper bag that had nearly disintegrated. Won’t be ordering again. Very poor service.

Myself and my mum who are brown, were served undercooked food and nicely told the server that it is raw. We were met with vile racist remarks of how they don’t like to serve our people (even though the food was raw) and they were rude throughout the ordeal. They ended up charging my charge for the full meal even though they binned all of it. Horrible place with horrible people

Only received 4 poppadoms, ordered 8. Despite ordering Biryani just received Chicken Tikka meat - missed these parts of the order. Disappointed but food we did receive was good quality. Thanks.

Been getting emails from here every Friday with 20% off offers for takeaway. Finally thought we'd give it a go. But wish we hadn't. Delivery was half hour late. Food was watery and little taste to the dishes sauces. My Veg vindaloo had very little flavour, just had heat. Other family members said that all 3 dishes were luke warm, and although they came free, the papadoms were soft and yogurt mint sauce was warm. (Warm yogurt is not good). Majority of takeaways and restaurants in Stourport on Severn are very good. We will stick with those we know and will not use Royal Spice of Hartlebury again.

Food arrived 15 mins. late poppadoms were soft and tasted stale naan had a strange taste mint dip had curdled. All in all a very disappointing meal used to be the best around. S Connolly.

Food was good but missing a poppadom - I paid for four - might not seem like much but quite annoyed as there’s four of us and it’s the kids favourite bit. The little things are important. Also was 20 mins late but the app is only letting me select 5 minutes for some reason.

Been going here for years and it’s the best place in worcester. Staff are always the best and the food is consistently delicious. Never had a bad experience.

As always, a wonderful take away meal. Freshly cooked, hot and delicious . A reasonable price, friendly staff and delivered on time. Tarka Daal was perfect and King prawn Madras to die for. Sag Paneer just right. Will probably order again tonight, tomorrow....

Staying overnight at the Travelodge and booked in here for our evening meal. It was excellent and would love to come back again. The food was amazing. Well worth a visit.

Excellent food and service. Staff were very attentive. They were willing to accommodate a request with a food item not on menu. It was a relaxed atmosphere. My only little issue was that my eyes needed to adjust to the pink lights over the table before I could read the menu! Will definitely be eating here again!

Food was lovely. Only downside was not all the poppadoms came that I ordered. Not a major issue as they are only cheap but when you order something you want it all to come.

Delicious food, great service. A family of 4, we were served quickly and was always asked if we needed anything. Food was delicious and I liked the fact our starter order was taken prior to asking for our main meal which gave us more time to peruse the menu. Wonderful hospitality and service. Nothing was too much trouble, servers kept our wine glasses topped up. Host gave recommendations for palette preferences and adapted flavours to suit. Very reasonable price for two adults. Couldn’t fault it. Highly recommend.

1st of all I need to say that I cannot fault the service I receive from Royal Spice. I am a regular take away customer and have been for a couple of years, my order is always delivered on time and with a very friendly manner. However, although it has never been the case where I cannot eat the food, it can be very hit and miss. I usually stick to the same few dishes because I know that I like them however, the main dish (Bahar) I have is never the same from one week to the other, I think it depends on the chef. For instance last night, I had my usual Bahar dish which I always ask to be hot & spicy together with my usual vegetable side. For some reason this week the dishes were made with the same basic sauce with the heat having been added to the vegetable dish and not the Bahar. The sauce for both dishes was very thick and the Bahar for some reason was quite sweet and had coconut in it and only half the meat that it usually contains, the only difference between the two dishes was that the Bahar had garlic added and the bhaji had been heavily spiced. The sauce was totally wrong for both dishes which was particularly obvious for the bhaji which I could tell by sight was not right. It is really disappointing, time to try another curry house I think.

This restaurant was conveniently located near our Travelodge hotel in Hartlebury, where we stayed for one night. Initially this was the reason we chose to visit this establishment, but we are so glad we did. The Royal Spice has everything that made it an excellent experience from the cleanliness and ambience of the surroundings, the friendly and helpful staff, but most of all the varied menu and quality of the food. All menu options were a reasonable price and they also have a good selection of drinks. All in all a great evening spent at the Royal Spice in Hartlebury.

The food was OK,staff were OK,they do a special menu but there are a lot of supplements on different dishes, and the drinks aren't cheap, you can't take your own in, so all in all wasn't to impressed.

Visited on a Saturday and despite it being reasonably quiet, the food was absolutely beautiful! We were a party of 8 and they nailed every single one of our orders. Full stomachs all round! The service was impeccable and they even supplied a last minute birthday cake despite not knowing until arrival that it was my partners birthday. Couldn’t fault it , will definitely return. Thank you so much for the wonderful evening.

Exceptional food, very good quality and will recommend without hesitation but stay away from the house red wine (ordered with delivery) its foul, I wouldn’t even use it for cooking. I’d suggest to the restaurant offering alternatives for deliveries, having eaten in, I know they have good wine on the shelf. £10.95 is extortionate for substandard wine. £3 a bottle for catering use would be too much for what I received. Don’t let this affect eating from here, the food is fabulous

The driver is a joke called me and asked where about where I was. I explained that there was a parkmon the right hand side for him to tell me there was no park. I told him there was and where I was. He said he was outside and said come and get it. He said he had left it outside the block food was no where to be seen disgusting. Got no where dealing with this

Located on the main road between Kidderminster and Worcester with a Travelodge on same site too.We decided to have the Royal Spice Mix for the starter followed by Lamb Tikka Jalfrezi, Staff Curry, Mushroom Pilau and a Cauliflower Bhaji. This was washed down with a bottle of very reasonably priced House White.Service as always was friendly and helpful, this is another firm favourites of ours, we would highly recommend to anyone living in this area of Worcestershire or people passing through who have decided to use the Travelodge.

Really lovely food with excellent friendly delivery!!

Went to the cotswolds and to visit family nearby. Decided to get a curry and chose the royal spice. I played it safe and ordered a jalfreizi and biryani. The jalfreizi was just how i like it. Not too spicy but flavoursome. Some places a jalfreizi is jist spicy but no depth of flavour. This was lovely. The biryani rice was well flavoured and the lamb was lovely too. Overall, friendly staff and. Lovely food.

Delivered hot really tasty maybe a little too spicy but excellent

First visit last Saturday, all appeared good then spotted three large rats 2feet from a open fire exit door , as it was busy and not wanting to cause a fuss i beckoned a member of management over and quietly told him , he hushed the little critters away and closed the door , I had no apology and he walked away , obviously we did not want to finish the meal we had just had brought to the table , I asked for the bill and the member of management made a quick exit for the kitchen door , again not wanting to upset other diners I paid the bill in full and was not offered any sort of apology, I was completely ignored when leaving and wish now I had made a fuss , obviously I have informed the appropriate authority’s

Even though it was a little late, it was the best curry we have had in a long time, very friendly delivery driver & even 2 complementary popadoms & a enjoyable dip definitely be using you again

Staying at the travel lodge on site we thought we’d try this and we weren’t disappointed, the staff were wonderful and friendly, nothing was too much and the food was simply gorgeous! (I just couldn’t eat it all). Absolutely amazing value for money, I just wish we lived locally so we could go more often!!

We really rate this restaurant highly, I love the Staff Curry and my better half enjoys the Lamb Rogan Josh, service is very good and their staff very friendly.

Do not be put off by the fact this is on a main road ! The restaurant is tastefully decorated and the staff very attentive ! Nothing is too much trouble for them and the food is delicious with a well varied menu to suit all tastes ! The starters are beautifully presented and very fresh ! We cannot fault this restaurant and will definitely be re visiting! All the food we had was very tasty and fresh!

This restaurant has been delivering my take aways for a few weeks now . The food is truly amazing and bursting with wonderful flavours and always hot . Anything you ask for in the notes ie extra chillies is never a problem . And the delivery is fast and the guys are always happy . Highly recommend ...

Food lovely as ever however it arrived 55 minutes later than estimated and one of the food containers was badly squashed and had leaked everywhere. I appreciate it is busy being a bank holiday however a courtesy text or phone call to let us know would have been appreciated. Second time it has been very late so a little disappointed. Cannot fault the quality and taste of the food though, always very tasty.
