We’ve recently moved to the area and were looking for a new go to Indian- the reviews looked good so thought our first try would be bengal dream. Popadoms we’re stale and we’re sent back. Starters were tasty but the mains lacked much flavour. The chicken was quite watery on the plate like it had been microwaved rather than cooked fresh. Hopefully we just got unlucky but we won’t be rushing back

Can't rate the food as I never received it. Disgraceful service though some thanks to the second gentleman I spoke to on my return. Placed an order through their own website to collect after working a full Boxing Day. After waiting a few minutes at the little 'reception' area I was told that they didn't have my order and that the system connected to their website was off. They refused to arrange the order there and then because they were too busy, so no food. Then they told me they couldn't refund so to go home and get the refund online. Which would have been something if there was a refund system on their website. Went back a second time, each a 20 minute round trip walking, and magically they can suddenly do a refund when I'm getting louder in front of their seated customers. Although the second person I spoke to was far friendlier and more helpful. Anyway, Boxing Day evening, 8:30pm by the time I left with a pending refund (not instant) and the offer of a poppadom. On top everywhere shut unless I wanted a £3 tin of something unidentifiable from an off-license. An hour out of my evening, no food, not enough left on my card for the dine-in place over the road.

Great evening..our usual curry club meeting.. fantastic food..great hosts.. wonderful!! I had the salmon tikka. And my aubergine dish .and Tarka Dall.. onion bargi to start.. delicious!!

Best Indian resteraunt in Evesham. Staff are very attentive and friendly, great service and wonderful food. Can recommend the chefs special Almazzano . Bring your own booze keeps the bills low :) Redommneded.

Went on a Friday night and the place was packed. Waited for a table and it was well worth the wait - excellent food. We were so impressed we decided to go again on the Saturday night. Bizarrely the place was empty at about 8.50pm. Once again the food was excellent and I attempted to pass on my compliments to the member of staff who served us. Unfortunately he was not interested at all in my feedback and I was quickly dismissed as he went about other things. Most peculiar. This restaurant is not licensed however you can take your own alcohol. Top Tip there's an off licence about five doors up.

Usual curry club group who meet monthly! The most excellent food as usual.. perfectly cooked.and served..the staff have become friends in my view! I had Tarka Dall..Sag aloo Aubergine brinjal all perfect..best I've had!!

This is such a fantastic restaurant with the nicest, friendliest team you could wish to meet. Have visited many many times and the food is always delicious fresh and served beautifully. Try a combination dish if you're not familiar with spicy food so that you can try more than one dish. The starters are out of this world and something to suit everyone. So much choice of main course you have to go back so that you can try more. Eating in is great and as its not licensed you can take your own wine or beer. There is a take away menu, best to pick it up yourself but delivery is available. After you've tried this restaurant you won't want to go anywhere else. This is the best. The team are like family they go out of their way to make you welcome and are always happy to help with your choice. Try it for yourself I know you'll love it. Always best to book.

Perfect in every way, if your in the area don't even think about going to a different Indian place. I travelled up from London and was mighty impressed. Devastated they are not open on Mondays on my last night in the area... Fantastic quality food cooked to perfection can't recommend it enough...keep up the good work!

The place was only just opening when we turned up without a reservation. We’re were lucky as an hour or two later we might have struggled. Staff were friendly knowledgable and attentive. The food was fresh in good quantity and well prepared. ‘It is a bring your own drink’ establishment so choice and value is at your own discretion. Return visit ? Yes of course.

A very acceptable Indian restaurant. Worth a visit.

We were in town for an event and one of our group booked ahead while we were still making arrangements at our end. Despite constantly changes/uncertainty over how many of us would turn up the venue was accommodating and everything went well on arrival. Service was swift, friendly and efficient and the food excellent and plentiful. The menu was large - and several of us took advantage of the choice of having pairs of two smaller main dishes as listed in the menu. These pairs complimented each other very well. We hadn't checked about the venue having an alcohol licence (it doesn't seem to), but staff, again, were accommodating and gave directions for one of our number to go and buy some alcohol for those who wanted it. We were a reasonably large party (nine) but despite this, and the place being reasonably busy, all of the food arrived in a timely manner with all of us being served food fresh, hot and at the same time, which showed good organisation. All in all a friendly, efficient restaurant with excellent food. Were I more local I would definitely visit again more regularly.

This is now our go to Indian Restaurant in Evesham. The service is always the best, polite staff and always welcoming. The food is always tasty, with a varied menu with lots of choice and all at great value prices! Highly recommend!

Warm, kindly, non-intrusive service, relaxing atmosphere, quiet enough to converse over dinner and lovely food. They managed to accomodate my rather tricky dietary requirements while providing a great range of standard dishes. The toilets were spotless. We liked it so much that we had dinner there both nights of our stay. Thank you.

Food was nice, big portions and delivery on time... But way too much garlic! I had people commenting that I stank of garlic the next day when I went near them, which was quite embarrassing. Not sure if it was the curry or the naan, will sadly give this place a miss next time.

Two of us called ate here tonight and all I can say it’s one of the best curry’s I’ve had in ages. It’s not often you get too much food but that was the case here but everything from the starters to the mains rice and naans were delicious. If I’m ever in the area again I will definitely come back

Probably one of the best Indian restaurants visited, the emphasis is on quality and authentic food as it’s a BYO drink, the place was spotless and clean service was friendly and professional, portion size just right and plentiful, the roti were fresh and crisp as were the nan bread, second time I went I tried the Lazz something prawns and chicken tikka in a creamy sauce not hot but just delicious. I highly recommend this place for quality in food, service and cleanliness. Thank you for a couple of nice evenings Lino Len

My friend and I went to the Bengal dreams last night for a smashing meal. The restaurant was spotlessly clean, all necessary safety measures were in place. The food was incredible and the service was excellent. Will definitely be coming back.

Had home delivery from temp menu and the food was better than all local rivals a big thumbs up, look forward to ordering again asap.

A group of 8 of us visited on a Friday night and were welcomed and all enjoyed a good selection of food. All served together with just the right time between finishing popadums and mains arriving.Being able to take own drinks in is a great attraction too.

We chose this restaurant for our staff Christmas meal. Having had takeaway from here before. We had an excellent meal and the staff were all very attentive. Lovely atmosphere and great food. We would definitely recommend this space in the future. Good value for money and a good night out.

We booked Christmas dinner at Bengal Dreams and didn’t expect such a lovely atmosphere whilst having it.My turkey dinner was perfection and also saw the Asian style Kursi chicken cooked that came with a mince meat style sauce!! which I really regretted not having!! We came back for another meal recently to see what was on the normal menu, we ordered the mixed grill, sheesh kebab balti, Jayjool special and a heap load of onion baji, had to ask for more! Overall excellent, friendly service, exceptional food definitely worth a visit and won’t disappoint

Take away at weekends. Collect, takes about 30-40mins from calling in the order. Very friendly staff. Take your own drink if eating in. Can get noisy in there.

Great service they stayed open to take order, however thats where the good stops. Rice was yellow and not fresh and the pathia lacked its instinctive flavour. Such a shame as staff were really helpful.

What excellent service and food. Tried there combination dishes, you can't go wrong. What a brilliant idea to combine two dishes. Now it's like two curries in one. I was well satisfied. Also bespoke if you ask. Had a amazing time. Thankyou team Bengal dreams.

Not terrible but food very salty, onion Bhaji very dry and naan fairly chewy. However meat was tender. In all honesty won’t be going back.

Experianced efficient staff looked after the whole group of nine people effortlessly. Food was delicious,service fast and the atmoshphere relaxed and friendly.

Travelled up from Bristol to make my second visit to the Bengal Dreams restaurant and the food and friendly service were again exceptional. On both occasions I have been among a party of six and the variety and excellence of the dishes we have ordered and thoroughly enjoyed are a testament to the staff at the restaurant. The combination dishes are a particular delight and the keema naan is to die for. It’s a BYO establishment which means the emphasis is on the quality of the food and this shines through. All of this and great value for money - I’m starting to wish I lived in Evesham just to savour the great food at the Bengal Dreams more often! I’ll be back.....

This is a very nice restaurant. The staff are very friendly & welcoming and the food is very nice. There is a wide choice on the menu and the staff are very knowledgeable about the types of food and spice levels of all meals. They welcome families,and are always happy to help. Will be returning again soon

Run of the mill S. Asian cuisine. Not bad but nothing special. Nice fresh naan breads and friendly staff. BYO policy on drinks which can certainly help to keep the bill down.

Went out for an Indian dinner with a group of girlfriends and we had a great evening with nice food. Surprised that they don't have an alcohol licence, but that meant we could bring our own which was fine. This should, however, be more obvious on their website.

Loved our takeaway dinner here. Food was tasty and there was way too much for two of us with two main dishes and some breads. Very good value and yummy food.

Great restaurant great staff very accommodating and food is delicious! They don’t mind quiet gatherings or raucous behaviour.

My friend and I were peering at a pub menu when a man passed by and said the food in the pub was very good....we got chatting and told him that we really wanted a curry, so we asked him if he could recommend anywhere. He told us to go to Bengal Dreams in the town and to say Colin sent us! We had an excellent meal, what more can I say? Take your own beer. Great meal. Only sorry we never had the chance to say thank you to “Colin”!

This meal was average at best, the chicken was clearly frozen not fresh, it was dry in the middle when chewing it, food all had a very bland taste to it not bursting with flavours like a usual Indian, I ordered 3 poppadoms, chicken tikka starter, keema nan and chicken tikka masala, I did expect more when walking in as it looked nice.

Hi guys so I went to Bengal Dreams and the food was very nice, but not the best. The staff are very friendly and helpful and make sure you have a good time. I really enjoyed this experience and if you have kids it is a great place to eat, as if they don't like the traditional spicy bengali food, they can have English food too. If you are Muslim then this is a good place as all the food is halal. Again, thank you Bengali Dreams!

I had a the green masala, it was one of the best currys I have tasted! I will be going back soon. This restaurant does not serve alcohol but let you take your own at no extra cost. The tables are a bit cramped together but the food makes up for it.

It had been a while since I have been to Bengal Dreams, however when I visited recently I was not disappointed. It was good to see some old faces that worked there when I had gone a couple of years before. The service and food was excellent and it is good value for money! Thanks!
