Food is nice. But service is slow not friendly.

We got our food delivered and the chicken was dry the rice was dry my side salad wasn’t delivered and overall not good food I had to add sauce to my rice to give it some flavour Jesus cook you food with flavour

everything was good apart from strips, very dry

Staff don't listen and tend to end the phone and become agitated at the customer

Take with a pitch of salt because I’m a London girly in Bedford Pros - I’m impressed they delivered and they didn’t scrimp on the cheese However - they took there sweet time to deliver it and gave no indication on the phone that would the case Asked for chicken strips, expecting succulent crispy chicken strips but got v spicy grilled chicken so good for the bros who want the gains but not your normal chicken shop order Secondly, I asked on the phone for my cheesy chips to be smothered in garlic sauce , and made it clear I would pay extra for that and I wanted to be shocked by the amount of garlic sauce I saw on my chips. I was not shocked nor happy. There was at most a drizzle , not what a girlie needs after a night out dancing - disappointed about this Overall tasty, but I won’t be promoting bedfords chicken establishments to my fellow londers after this.

I order peri peri chicken I liked the tatse, food was delivered in time and the delivery driver was so curtious that when he reached my place I was at the mosque and the moment I was about to leave it strated raining so fast and I told the rider I cannot come until rains stops because I am with my children. He asked me for the location and came to pick us up from the mosque dropped us home and gave our food. I didn't have cash with he left the food on trust and then the restauranr gave me the link to pay them. Delivery driver name is Bablu and he was so kind and curtious, thank you Bablu bhai for helping us out and most importantly foof was still warm when finally had it that is why 5 stars for execellent service.

Delivery was nice and quick, but honestly that is the only positive thing I can say. The food was terrible, the worst take-away I think I've ever had. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't expecting a Michelin star gourmet meal, But the food I recieved was absolutely awful. The chicken in the chicken fillet burger was the toughest chicken I have ever tried to eat. Rubbery and chewy and I gave up trying to eat it after 3 bites. The half pound burger was so overcooked it was crunchy. Seriously. Crunchy burgers. Tasted like I imagine coal tastes. I didn't finish that either. By this time I couldn't even face the Chicken breast in Pita, and they all went in the bin. Biggest waste of money ever. I recommend making better use of yours and ordering from somewhere else, as I will in future. Completely disgusted.

Very poor would like a refund. Cheesecake frozen rock hard. Rice was dry chicken was over cooked cold and hard. Very unpleasant order not happy

Food was ok, nothing amazing. A meal got wasted as the southern fried chicken wrap was not described as spicy, however, it had a kick to it and was too hot for my son which was disappointing.

Genuinely excellent food. Masala fish wasn’t oily and the rice was nice and fluffy. Fries remained crunchy and chicken was perfectly cooked. Reason for one star less was that the lamb chops could have been more tender as they aren’t exactly that cheap or big. Apart from that nothing else bad to say.

Absolutely disgusting mixed grill. The food tasted of overpowering tandoori seasoning, chicken was pink inside. The boxes looked like they had been reused as well.

I had chicken breast in pitta bread, and I had abdomenal colic immediately after eating, and I had diarrhea within half an hour. I felt it was leftovers and heated multiple times. Don't recommend at all.

So.. the story begins of this wise old man who ordered along with his friends a set meal for each of us on a frosty and bitter night. Nothing was more exciting than to fill our stomachs with some delicious food but this is where the story has its villian! Guess who? ROYAL PERI PERI. Not only did we wait over an hour for our food, it was 1/10 in terms of quality of chicken. Do not charge the highest price you can for the cheapest chicken you can buy! I mean you could of left the sauce on the chicken instead of airing them out and using it on the next set of chicken. Utter shame. Ya cheeky boys, meant to be 2 strips in a meal and you cut it in half, could of atleast mixed them up in meals so I couldn’t play but you just had to give me a game to connect my strip back together to see it was one! Overall food was ok, mediocre but try and do better. Paying for the food not asking for freebies. So see you next time.. maybe.

This is my go to Fried Chicken place. I have given up on the disaster that is KFC in Tavistock street and now order my fried chicken from the Royal. Large pieces of succulent hot tasty chicken and good chips. The extras of onion rings and sweet corn good too. Delivered on time and arrived hot with extra dips in the bag.

2 HOURS FOR FOOD TO BE DELIVERED ???????? There are things to do, places to be . Pleaseeee hire more people . Or pay ur drivers more I know the economy is hard rn but omg this is getting too far . Food is always rlly good tho alhamdulillah

This place is my go to for fried chicken, the chicken has a nice lemon pepper taste & not the generic fried chicken taste. I definitely recommend this place, the rest of the menu ain’t bad either

Ordered 2 meals online for delivery. Rang them over an hour later for an update, to be told that the driver hasn’t even picked up the food yet. Told the guy it’s not acceptable, considering it’s a Wednesday, but he didn’t sound very bothered. This place always seems to take hour and half to deliver food! 👎

Prices have increased too much recently!

Food was really bad. For a peri peri chicken shop the peri chicken (burger, wings and strips) was barely flavoured and cooked to almost dust, which obviously meant it was incredibly dry. Every bite meant my mouth had to rehydrate the chicken and left me with cottonmouth. The fried chicken was somewhat better which made us laugh with the shop being called Royal Peri Peri. Everyone seemed to enjoy the sauces that came with the meals. Other than that, waste of money really...although they have been better so quality has definitely dropped. Don't know if this is some money saving tactic...but at this rate it'll be me saving money and them losing it

Cheap cheerful place with quality chicken and chips whether you want Peri Peri or Southern Fried and the chilli sauce and burger sauce are unique and taste delicious with the frys and the chicken. Good spot for a quick grub you can't go wrong.
