Went for a family dinner. It was our first visit... everything was exceptional and spot on. From food to the service all was high quality. Worth a visit if you leave round here and definitely going back again 🥰🥰🙏🙏🙏

Honestly love Nepalese food and this place exceeded our expectations… absolutely beautifully cooked, fresh food. The staff are friendly and welcoming.. if only we lived in the village to dine here more often. We will definitely be back … the Peshwari was the best I have EVER tasted and the coconut pudding was lush … THANK YOU

Can't rate this place high enough,blink and you would miss it,a small family run Ghurka inspired restaurant,warm friendly hosts,freshly cooked food,served piping hot.The bhajis are like size of tennis balls and the best tasted ever.Main courses all served together including rice and side dishes along with nan breads for a party of 8 is no mean task but they did just that.....will be making return visoy very soon 10/10

Honest I don't understand why this place hasn't got the recognition it deserves! The food is out of this world! Absolutely delicious Indian and Nepalese food. Just wonderful, and the staff are so lovely too.

We went for a Friday night meal because we were in the area. We were really impressed by the quality of the food as well as the friendliness of the staff. The Lamb Gurkha was tender and full of flavour and highly recommended. The Chicken Bhutwa had a rich tomato base, slightly sweet and not too hot. The complementary coconut rum to finish was also a really nice touch. If you are in newsted;it's well worth a visit!

Had a take away from the Royal Gurkha in Newstead last night and food was magnificent, would highly recommend it.

I went here for the first time a couple of weeks ago and the food was really tasty. The new owners have also put a lot of effort into modernising the restaurant area. I definitely recommend. I also tried the Gurkha beer and it was really refreshing. Thank you!
