Really lovely breakfast. So tasty, well presented and great portion size. The service was also great from Niha. We’ll be back again.

Our recent visit to Tamasha restaurant in Nottingham was nothing short of great customer service - an experience that ranks among the best I’ve had in recent times. From the moment we entered, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of great customer service. The service, led by Zion, Serena, Fahima and Andrias, was nothing short of exemplary. Their warmth and genuine hospitality made our evening special. Every interaction, from the initial greeting to the final farewell, was infused with care and professionalism, demonstrating their deep understanding of what it means to truly look after their guests. The food itself was amazing – loved the lamb shank! Nevertheless, each dish was not only beautifully presented but also a testament to the chef’s mastery, marrying flavors and textures in ways that delighted and surprised the palate. Zion and Serena’s exceptional service and kindness deserve special mention, as it significantly enhanced our experience, making our evening all the more memorable. We left with a deep appreciation for the effort and care that went into every aspect of our evening, and a strong desire to return - perhaps next time as a group, to share the experience with others! If I could give this no starts I would . I Went to this restaurant a couple days ago , they tried to refuse me because I was late for a booking even though I had rang and told them I would be late and the manger said that would be fine … turns out it was a walk in restaurant anyways and they was seating anyone . Then they said I have a hour to order and eat and leave which is rather rude? I booked this place for my birthday at first they seated us on a nice table and then after ordering we was told if we could move to this small table which was right next to the bar but yet again no one was sat upstairs accept from another girl with her friends for her bday but we was rammed in at the bottom of the restaurant while it was busy . The staff was rude only one staff was respectful and kept apologising. All the staff had stank looks on there face not one smile at all , me and my family felt uncomfortable like we had done something wrong… would not recommend this place to anybody the food was like a kids portion it looked like a starter but didn’t say starter they also took the service charge which none of us wanted to pay because of how we was treated and they sneakily took it anyways very disappointed 😡

I am very skeptical of new restaurants. I came off the high street by chance at lunch time. Omg, I was so pleasantly surprised! I ordered something I would never normally order. The presentation was beautiful. The taste was simply magnificent. Could anyone prepare obergine like Manjeet did? Yes, that's his name! If you need a chef par excellence, he's your man!! Visit. You will be happy!

I visited on a Sunday after 6pm. My mains were served and a white male approached the table asking to move the car as the ‘council’ called. Left the mains went out to move the car where I was racially abused. Later made a complaint to the restaurant wanting the details of the alleged council that wanted to the car moved on a Sunday after 6pm as I’d rather have had a parking fine than be racially abused. This is where i discovered there was no council report and the male that approached the table was a manager of the establishment. Just to clarify Tamash Grill had sadly defended the actions of the racism and admitted to lying about the council calling over the car allegedly parked incorrectly. I have messages I’m happy to upload of the conversation I had with the restaurant and to add to insult I had paid for a meal I didn’t eat and asked for a refund. The restaurant blocked me as and admission of guilt. Sickening you run an Indian restaurant with staff of colour that was more sympathetic toward my racial attack than the manager (a man of non colour). The white male managing the restaurant could not answer why he lied about the council call and why he interrupted my meal to put me in a position to be racially attacked. You are a disgraceful human being and ought to be ashamed of yourself.

Me and my partner picked Tamasha Grill as a place to celebrate together, but were a little disappointed with our visit. The food itself was lovely and although the steak was a little hard to slice, it was nothing to do with the way it was cooked, but the cut. The service was a little disappointing as our order wasn’t noted down by our server, the food came out after an hour of waiting and when it did come, we were missing an entire main and a drink. I would like to say the waitress did discount our meal and did apologise, but it was still rather disappointing as we ended up not asking for the main as we didn’t want to wait so long yet again.

Food was very very good and the service was top tier. Went when it was quiet but I’m certain the quality of the food and service wouldn’t have been significantly less if they were busier or even at full service.

A group of us attended for lunch on 08/09/24. The food was outstanding - what was appalling was how we were treated. We were served at various points by three different young ladies. Right from taking our drink orders at the start, the lady with the scarf was surly and abrupt, apparently unhappy about our presence despite having booked our table in advance. When a couple more friends joined us later, and both the lady with the scarf as well as the blond haired one were extremely rude, warning us not to bring any more guests. We could be taking up spaces that others might have reserved, apparently. Astonishingly, none of the tables were marked as reserved and for the whole of the two and a half hours we spent there, there were at least two empty tables at all times. When these two women served us, they slammed the plates and bowls on the table, ensuring we understood our custom was not welcome. They created a distasteful atmosphere. On the other hand, the third waitress was lovely: very polite, happy to help and attentive. Her attitude was a breath of fresh air beside the stifling temperament of the other two. I would never go for a meal to this place again, not because of the food, but because of the foul tempers of these two ladies. If I could give zero stars for their service, I would. Thank you very much to the lovely young lady who served us with kindness and respect.

Went to Tamasha to have food with friends and we all loved the food. The lamb shank was brought out beautifully and tasted amazing and the ambience was cute too. However we were Let down by a member of staff as the waitress was singing and making weird noises while we were trying to eat which was a bit off putting. The young man who served us was really good and lovely in every interaction. If only all the service was like this.

I went for a Sunday dinner yesterday as I was too tired to be bothered to cook anything and it was by far the best restaurant meal I’ve had all year. Couldn’t fault it at all and as well as tasting amazing the portion size was so generous. Zion (sorry if I spelt your name wrong) provided great service and I’ll definitely be back soon.

Excellent standard of breakfast. Accommodating with having my own bread. Air con makes it a little cool. Staff were very efficient.

Food was delicious. Too pricey. Decor is very tired looking including the chairs. The ceiling lights were absolutey filthy, covered in fat & dust. The mens toilet had urine all over the floor & a broken toilet seat, the ladies had no loo roll. The tables were crammed in & close to others. Little ambience. Cheeky service charge of £8 added to bill without making us aware of this! Our waitress was friendly but for the prices they charge for food, so they should be! All this really lets the place down & we won't be returning.

I didn't book for a table but we managed to dine in thanks to a wonderful waitress called Alisha who was very friendly, attentive and always smiling despite the resturant being as busy as it was. The food was top notch as I expected. Alisha made our experience here at Tamasha extra special with her excellent customer service. we definitely look forward to visiting again very soon. 😊🙌🏼

2nd visit to Tamasha and won’t be the last. Excellent quality food and choices with a spin on the traditional menu items. Staff could not have been any more attentive. Really chilled vibe about the place too. Can’t find an excuse to go again soon enough.

We had a birthday party upstairs. Everything was perfect. Memory was our waitress. She is very professional and patient with us. Came many times to check if we needed anything. The food was great, the portions were decent, and drinks were flowing.

Went to this restaurant last weekend, parked on the kerb away from the restaurant property. Half way through the meal was approached by someone in shorts and a T shirt claiming the council has asked for the car to be moved. I found this hard to believe on a Saturday night, anyways less than 5 minutes later approached by a waitress asking for us to move as she was instructed by her manager. I went out to move my car and was racially abused by people outside, i cant see any reason for this but jelously of the fact it was a brand new car. Im really disappointed in this establishment for letting this happen, they took sides of strangers from the pub who were not customers. We ate half the food which cost £100, food was also of poor quality. Manager has since messaged excusing the racism, i highly recommend any one of colour to stay safe and avoid this place. Edit to reply; I have messages of you telling us to take it out with the pub, the pubs owner has offered to bar the people in question. You have done nothing but try to blame us. Again you lied about the council, tell me who it was…. We can see you trying to delete messages, just know screenshot having been taken. This will become a legal matter if we don't get down to the bottom of it. You need to stop lying.

We went for lunch at the weekend, it was quiet, one other table in. The girl who waited our tables was fairly grumpy to be honest, not particularly friendly or welcoming. The food was slow coming out though we were the only in by that point. The food was really good, very fresh and tasty, perfect blend of spices and nicely cooked. The price is pretty high given the service, x2 starters and x2 mains, which were all small portions, plus x1 drink and water for the table came to over £50. What was particularly cheeky was a service charge that was added before we paid, without asking or having anything written anywhere, and with no way of rejecting the service charge. So we paid £7 extra for a grumpy waiter and slow food. Thought that was ridiculous to be honest. Food was nice but the price was too much for the service and the wait, the service charge bumped our bill up to £60 for not a lot of food.

Upon my first visit to Tamasha, I was surprised by its cozy size; it felt more like a vibrant bar than the lavish dining experience I had anticipated. The price point also caught me off guard, with a vegetarian curry priced at £18.95. However, the lively atmosphere on a Thursday night hinted that they must be doing something right! I ordered the Tamasha Mixed Grill Trio, and while the king prawns were exceptional, the rest of the offerings were decent but not outstanding. One of the dipping sauces was somewhat unconventional and didn’t quite complement the mixed grill, though the mint sauce stood out as it was clearly made with fresh mint. Customer service was satisfactory, adding to the overall experience. In conclusion, if you’re willing to splurge for that picture-perfect Instagram shot, Tamasha won’t disappoint with its stunning pink floral decor and beautifully presented dishes. However, if you’re a true foodie seeking bold flavors and satisfying meals, you might want to explore other options.
