Tried twice in the last month after avoiding for a few years. Both times the meals were excellent, the staff friendly and helpful. It’s so nice to have a good local Chinese again. The only slight criticism is that rice and chips are not included, making it a bit more pricey than our usual. (The quality makes up for it though)

Good quality hot food. Love this place. Good vegan options also as they do tofu. Best chinese in area we think. We go once a week.

We live in Hedon but have to search further for a decent chinese take away and this one is spot on. Despite difficult times with Covid 19 this business is very professional managing the social distancing and delivering great quality food. One of our favourites

Used this takeaway as our usual was closed and was really disappointed. I had a chow mein and it was really bland, my husband had a Singapore special chow mein and it was lacking in meat. We will not be returning sadly.

Value for money and tasty food. Not a long wait to receive a decent Chinese. Clean inside the takeaway and good service.

Really bland. The Chow mein seemed like it’d been boiled, the spring rolls were frozen and the beef and black bean sauce was tasteless. Stay away.

Food was hot and cooked well but I have to say I prefer some of the other takeaways better in the area for flavour. I expect its a matter of personal taste and what your used to, good to see a takeaway open on a Tuesday night as so many aren't husbands King Prawns in Sweet and sour sauce was good but my chinese roast pork appeared to be normal roast pork and had a different taste to what I am used to and expected. I would give it another try and would maybe go for the satay and see what it is like.

If you want to taste a proper Chinese meal then don't think twice and order from Royal China. Never had a bad experience with always a friendly welcoming service

Had my usual Chinese chicken curry and house fried rice while my better half went for the chicken and cachew with the fried rice. Too much on the plate as usual but nothing left on both plates says it all. Friendly and helpful staff as usual and will be back again soon.

Amazing food lovely staff best Chinese takeaway I've had. Prices are very fair only downside is you don't receive free prawn crackers over ten pound orders like some do. But all in all great takeaway.

We dont vary our meal selection a lot but what we order is well presented with generous portions. We have had two dozen meal so far and not a problem. Polite service as well as an extensive menu that might temp us to be more adventurous in future.

We go here consistently, maybe once a month or every 6 weeks for a family treat. Usually lacking in flavour, but it's ok and local to us.

Just wanted a quick meal so popped to local takeaway. Great welcome and quick service but disappointing meal. Chicken with ginger and spring onions was a pile of chopped ordinary onions and huge chunks of ginger instead of fine slices and a few pieces of chicken. Ordinary fried rice was just rice mixed with loads of soy sauce, just a bowl of brown mess. Pancake roll was ok but no better than those available at Aldi. Not great.

We were staying in the area for a week and had a takeaway from Jack's. There was a good veggie choice on the menu, which included tofu / beancurd. The sauces were tasty. The main dish and rice portions were generous. Definitely recommend this place.

I never leave reviews but I had to leave one. I ordered a mixed starter for 2. Chicken chow mein. Beef satay some noodles., fried rice and chips. The starter was what I can only describe as poor. The prawn toast was really nice but the wonton looked as though it had been fried then refried 1 spring roll and 1 bbq rib which was drier than the Sahara desert. The rice was dry like it was yesterday's reheated, the noodles were rice noodles which were just watery. The chips must have been cooked the day before and just microwaved. Beef satay should be renamed beef vindaloo and the chow mein was dry. The only colour in the chow mein was the carrot which was raw. £40 wasted as most of it was inedible
