The only Indian takeaway I've ever enjoyed chicken tikka masala..my daughters only eat this I'm a madras girl! I loved it and plan to order this again! The garlic rice is amazing!!! Food delivered piping 🔥

Ordered food for a small group of us and we were all very impressed. The meals were all very tasty and each had their own individual taste. Great service when picking up and nice of them to pass on the 20% discount for collection. Will be back again soon!👍

BAD EXPRIENCED The food driver was mad and swearing. The shop management didn't care about the driver behaviour to the their customer. NEVER USING THIS TAKEAWAY AGAIN.

I think these guys offer the restaurant quality food at the highest level. The delivery time is always smooth, great menu, everyone can find something for themselves. Any of the lower scores are definitely 1 out of hundreds. The food is great

Glynn & Katie Supreme food, plenty of takeaways in Heywood but none make half as much effort as Royal Bengal. Curry wise absolutely bang on, kebab wise beautiful. Well done lads. Genuinely best curry I've had, Naga chicken tikka 😜 untouchable.

First time ordering from here tonight, as fancied trying somewhere new with a JE Tuesday discount. I'll get the positives out of the way quickly. Service/delivery was quick. Was at the door within half an hour. Naan bread was decent. It all tasted clean (but awfully flavored/seasoned) Chicken chilli Tikka, double seekh on naan, special rice, burger and chips..... Absolutely no idea what the chef is thinking in how they make their chilli/gravy base. The curry and the chilli sauce has more red colouring in them than I even knew was possible. Both the curry and the chilli sauce were that red, they were almost purple! (See attached pics). The chilli masala was extremely sweet and salty, with hardly any kick from the sliced green chilli's that were thrown in (even they were turning blood red with all the colouring). The chicken Tikka was cooked nicely, but with the rest of everything else throw in it was tasteless. Special rice was pilau rice with a tiny bit of curry powdered egg and lots of peas. Best bit of the meal, what's not saying much. The seekh kebabs were lean, and cooked nicely. But were just a keema mix, mashed up with a wholesale seekh seasoning/paste. Naan was cooked nicely. Again, generic naan mix. Mrs hated her burger. Extremely dry. Chips were only just cooked.... It seems like you're running the business to a good standard. Unfortunately the quality/taste of the food is way, WAY off! No idea how this place has good ratings on Google and JE. Sorry, but will not be ordering again.

Ordered chicken madras and it was absolutely lovely throughly enjoyed, chana baji also lovely finished off with a garlic nan...I could not fault the best Indian takeaway that I have tried! The driver very pleasant and friendly I would definitely recommend. Thank you all! I ordered for the 2nd time tonight tues 12th March and wS not as nice as last week. 20min late missing my popodum so had onion chutney and no popodum. Chicken madras very oily and not much chicken. Chicken peas very dry. I might try again I will see. Driver very nice.

Ordered mixed vinderloo onion fried rice and chilli Nan disappointment really meat was on point but had hotter madras than that good flavour but no spice no extra onions as requested good service just not what I hoped would be after seen reviews *updated* half way through there no spice in it no kick nothing I’m really disappointed in this place

Gorgeous food really can’t fault the quality of meat and the taste. Chicken jalfrezi is delicious but could really do with more sauce and less onions and peppers. Really excessive amount which ruins it a bit and puts me off ordering that specific meal again.

Beautiful meal would love the lamb not so tough however the layers of sices herbs etc all balance really well in smell and taste bombay potatoes had two much salt destroyed the natural notes of spices used to make how ever it still was a good meal

Absolutely horrible customer service not happy atall my door was never even knocked on and he couldn't apparently find my address when maps gives you the exact location when postcode and address is put in and tells you, you have arrived at the location. To make it worse the driver came bk after ringing to see where he was n drove back just to tell my friend we wasn't allowed the food!!(with the food in he's hand). Wouldn't recommend with how they treated us!

I left a 1 star review a while ago, the curry I ordered had hardly any sauce and the kebab and kebab meat had lettuce only for salad, (the meat was overpriced too at 6 pound something) I wasn't impressed, since then I gave them another go things have changed drastically and the place is delicious well done guys massively impressed

Looked for a new Indian to try for a change and this one didn’t disappoint. They delivered on time and the food was very hot when delivered. Very nice and fresh food, I will ordering from here every time going forward.

I'm not usually a fan of takeaway food but this was really fresh tasting. Had the lamb balti, naan, onion bhaji and veg samosa. All was clearly freshly made with good ingredients. Lovely

Absolutely wonderful food! Had the Royal Mixed Grill box, it should definitely come with a 2 person warning 😂, left half of it way too much. Bit of a shame about the Chicken Pakora, only a very small amount of chicken in them but doesn't lower the 5 stars!

Best takeout in Heywood. Been a customer here since it opened. The website is easy to navigate and ordering is simple. The shop is kept to a high hygiene standard and you can see the chefs working their magic and creating fantastic dishes. The staff are all friendly however the young man who takes your order is goes that extra mile and ensures you are made welcome and kept up to date on your order. I would give this 6 stars if I could. I have had many dishes from Royal Bengal but last night we ordered the Royal Mixed Grill Box, there were four of us so got two boxes, OMG there is enough food in one box for 4 people easy. All made fresh and the food was ready for pick up on time.

Got the set meal for one, less than £10 great value for a lovely curry, had chicken tikka vindaloo and it had a lovely spice while still being tasty, the seekh kebabs were delicious and the garlic naan i ordered extra was excellent.

We bought the royal kebab on naan and the naga naan as well, the royal kebab was amazing it was filling and brilliant value fresh authentic food, the naga on naan also tastes beautiful, a liveley bite with all the tastes of india, the spices on the meat and sauce also, makes these kebabs stand out from the rest, a definite must try. the staff are also loveley and polite, the food was on time, it was hot, everything was spot on, cant wait to go back and start trying the menu out 👍 Just wanted to say were still ordering food from the Royal bengal and still get great quality food, im particularly partial to the naga kebab on naan, thanks for keeping up the great work 👍

First time and last Item missing from order, called to tell them and the guy would only say "I don't know who's fault it is". curries are just very thin sauce with no substance apart from 6 chunks of meat floating, Donner kebab was dry and cold on dry over cooked naan, I'd describe it as like trying to eat a belt! It's was thrown away.

Was working in area, great food, loved royal kebab. Very nice. Took a jalfrezi back home for the mrs… very tasty with lamb biryani. Only downside, i would have liked naan a tad bit softer. Lovely mint sauce salad needs cucumber!

Loved my royal kebab and curry the first time we ordered the second time we ordered a pattie burger it came with no salad no cheese no sauce! Chips all over the bag ! The royal kebab had small thick chunks of kebab meat 2 pieces of chicken and half a seekh kebab I know you were busy but come on
