What a shame. This place could have so much potential. I’m going to start this by saying that I work in the hospitality industry. Me and my friend (both italian) decided to visit the restaurant as she is from the Region this restaurant promotes their food from. The food was okay-ish. We got the Salumi and Cheese tagliere which was good. But the bruschetta and the olives were pretty basic in taste with the olives being extremely dry. Definitely overpriced for what we got, but I might take in consideration that they use italian products and for that, I will overlook the prices. Usually when the food is not that great, it is compensated by good service, but that is not the case of this restaurant. Service was horrible to say the least. We didn’t have a server assigned to our table which made it hard to get any member of staff’s attention. And you would think that’s the worst part. The main server, a man, was utterly rude and condescending most of the time. My friend ask for a glass of white wine, we were mid dinner and we didn’t have the wine list on the table. Instead of offering the wine list the man pointed at a board behind me saying “Yeah, but which one cause I can get you any wine, even the most expensive”. Which, said with a laugh? I can get over it, but it was so condescending I couldn’t stand it already. Towards the end of end of the experience we asked for an espresso and limoncello. The espresso was basically dirty water so my friend didn’t drink it. Once we got the bill we asked for the espresso to be removed from the bill as she didn’t drink it and we noticed thay the glass of wine was charged £8 instead of £7.50 (as it was showed on the board he pointed at). The man approached our table with the wine list saying “well the price is £8 on the menu and the £7.50 is a mistake, but anyway”. As if that is my issue? You and your staff made a mistake, despite the £0.50 difference, why should I pay something extra that was not showed when I ordered? He kindly offered to remake the coffee which we agreed to, once the coffee came he also brought some sort of digestive quoting “well the wine it’s £8.00 but i took off the service charge so there you go, this is on the house”. Our issue was not the service or the price itself. We can afford service charge, we can afford £0.50, but the condescending tone and the lack of service was just not it. Plus making it look as if the wine price issue was our mistake, when he clearly pointed at the board with the wrong price. Overall, disappointing experience. People don’t go to dinner just for the food, but for the experience and that experience is provided by the servers. If you don’t enjoy hospitality, don’t work in hospitality!

Great service in an authentic Italian restaurant! Personalized and good food :)

Typical Covent Garden tourist trap. The food was decent but nothing like I had in Le Marche before. Service was efficient but not very friendly.

Discovered by chance and put in the diary for a dinner, a small but absolutely welcoming place. Wonderful flavors of visits to your grandparents, when you went to their house in the countryside as a child. Traditional cured meats and cheeses, aunt's dessert (delicious chocolate salami) and finally the Fanese moretta. Top

Belle découverte que ce petit restaurant italien ou je n'ai pas vu de pizza à la carte ! Ils font des formules entrée +plat+dessert à des tarifs tout à fait raisonnable. C'est très bon et frais. Une salle en sous sol également. Je recommande cet établissement pour son rapport qualité prix.

Ci sono ristoranti che spacciano di proporre la cucina italiana…. poco veritiera. Questo ristorante invece oltre ad essere Italiano DOC, gestito da Italiani ( Marchigiani veri) propone un menù marchigiano di tutto rispetto. Siamo andati a cena e oltre che sentirci come se stessimo a casa ( per l’accoglienza e la cordialità del personale e del titolare) abbiamo mangiato come se stessimo a casa. Tutto molto buono e fatto veramente da chi ama la cucina. Dagli antipasti crostini e fritture ( olive all’ascolana e cremini con il profumo del varnelli) ai primi ( ottimi ) e perfino ai dolci con il mitico salame di cioccolato. Se passate per Londra e volete mangiare bene, non potete non andare da ROSSODISERA. Ve lo consiglio vivamente

We had a booking for 5 pax. We arrived. I go in. A grumpy looking man comes up the stairs and just looks at me. I said I have a booking. He said and goes down. Then we wait. Few minutes he motions us to follow him. We do. And then points to a table at the corner. Table was set up for 4. There were 5 of us. I noticed in corner of the table a coke bottle which did not belong to our group. After we were seated, no one made a contact. We waited for 20+ minutes. I then put up my hand , and the waiter looks up and says rather rudely , I will be with you in a minute. He was not doing anything. Finally when did he come over to take our order, he was arrogant and haughty. Told us that bruschetta was bread ( no one asked) we ordered wine and said there is only two bottles of that particular wine. This whole experience with the waiter dampened our entire experience. One of the pasta dish was good but the rest were just fine. I’d this restaurant a wide berth. Many others in town where customer are liked.

There is a gov law to provide toilet and water for everyone. As a delivery rider they let me use toilet for urgent when I was waiting there for food

The most amazingly italian marchigiano restaurant ever, even better than italian ones! Beautiful location, menu has a good variety and the best traditional dishes of Le Marche. Great service and food is unbelievable. I brought some friends of mine here for the umpteenth time and I will always come here to feel like home whenever I'll be in London. Eager to visit the new Hampstead restaurant!

The food was average but the service was the WORST I have experienced not just in London, but in ANY restaurant in ANY city I have dined. Do not waste your time or money dining here. It is a small restaurant - 7 tables upstairs and maybe a few more downstairs - and typically that means service would be attentive, but unfortunately it was far from it. Somehow, the staff seemed to be in a perpetual state of overwhelm. We had a reservation and instead of being shown to our table, we were pointed toward our table by who I surprisingly later learned was the owner. Once seated we were ignored for 10 minutes. The server working upstairs walked by multiple times, failing to acknowledge us or make eye contact at each pass. She took the order of the 2 top next to us and eventually a buser or dishwasher emerged from the back to take our order. I am assuming he was not front of the house staff because he didn't introduce himself and we literally did not see him the rest of the evening after he took our order. Our starters and drinks arrived in a reasonable amount of time but it was 1 hour later that our main courses arrived. We both ordered pasta. How pasta can take an hour is beyond my comprehension, especially when the 2 top next to us, who also ordered pasta, received and finished theirs before ours arrived. In the hour we were waiting, the server passed us on at least 10 occasions, failing to engage with at all. I had to flag someone down for water and another glass of wine. I watched the owner working behind the bar drying silverware for at least half an hour while we were totally ignored. I found it odd that he was drying silverware when they clearly had enough on a tray in front of him to cover days worth of service. He was doing everything possible to avoid work and engagement with customers. Finally, I got his attention and asked where our food was and he proceeded to give an insincere apology, instead rationalizing the delay by saying we ordered something that required extra attention. I'm sorry, we ordered pasta, not a souffle. Again, the 2 top next to us both ordered pasta and they were paying their check as I was conversing with the owner. The food eventually arrived and it was quite average. The owner later comped the wine, but that wasn't what I was looking for. Based on other reviews regarding the service, it seems our experience was not unique.

5 of us was here for dinner last night. Table allocated was in the basement. There was only one waiter working there. Small space with a few tables. No acknowledgment from him. No greeting. I went upstairs to wait for our other friend who was late… waiter coldly asked “ where are you going? Toilet is downstairs!!!” We sat at the table and waited for 30 minutes without any sign from him until we had to ask for service. Finally he came by. We ordered our wine. He abruptly told us that he only had 2 bottles left. Strange as no one asked. His attitude was extremely condescending! As we were ordering the starters… he “told” us Bruschetta is bread! Again, no one asked. As if we needed to know…! Didn’t bother to check on us during the meal. As we left… he told us we left a bottle of Coca Cola on the ledge… guess what? It wasn’t us. It was there right from the start! The hand made pasta tasted good but staff was a let down. Perhaps he was the owner… if so, that would be even worst! Yes. We may be tourist yet somehow, this is not the way to treat customers! Your survival depends on your clientele! London has tons of other restaurants that will provide a better experience!

Cena tra 2 coppie, ordinate 2 bruschette con salsiccia e caciotta, 2 tagliolini de lu vatte, 1 tagliatella al ragù di coniglio e una lasagna, 1 frecantò e 2 salami di cioccolato. Non so dire quale piatto fosse il migliore, avendoli assaggiati tutti. Piatti con prodotti di ottima qualità, una cena semplicemente spettacolare! Una qualità difficile da trovare anche in Italia! Semplicemente super consigliato!

We wanted to be on the safe side with Italian cuisine and we found this Marche restaurant in Covent Garden! The place is small, but welcoming and warm! The food is very good! I advise!

We decided to eat at this place thanks to the Google search and the reviews of the place (Friday evening). They immediately found us a table, we ordered a vincisgrassi and a carbonara and I must say that they were both delicious: carbonara is difficult to find good abroad but in this case the flavor was perfect. The vincisgrassi are delicious, like the ones at home (coming from the Marche region). However, the staff needs to be reviewed, the hospitality is not exactly Italian (as people from the Marche we would have liked to talk and exchange opinions, but we understand that this is not for everyone). Furthermore, when I asked for a particular bitter (of which there were at least 8 bottles visible, so it is assumed that they have it) the waiter (Italian but probably not from the Marche) told me he didn't have it. Very nice location albeit small, but prices perhaps a little high. (Vincisgrassi, carbonara, tiramisu water and two bitters 64 pounds) although most likely many products came from the Marche region therefore transport prices must be calculated in addition to those of the area.

Excellent lunch to celebrate a birthday before a show. Food, service and ambience just great and very helpful recommendations. We had a sharing board and bruschetta, and then two pastas splits between 4 so we could try two of the specialties. Very authentic and freshly cooked food. Will be back. Thank you!

Felt unwelcome - ignored repeatedly by various staff when we arrived. Slow service on drinks. Food was good quality but overall very disappointing experience. Described as a small independent - that raises the expectation of friendly service from staff who care.

I went there with a couple of friends last Friday and had an absolutely horrible experience. The food was decent but the service was horrible. The waiter was downright rude to us. He was literally throwing dishes on the table. This is despite ordering 3 course dinner for 5 including 2 bottles of wine appertif and all. The food was also nothing special. My suggestion would be to avoid this at all cost.

Awful food and service. We had to wait for 30 mina between the first and the main courses when the restaurant was half empty. When they arrived, it was so pale and mediocre. We ordered the “vegetarian” Ragu, which appeared to be pasta with tomato sauce (from a can, by the taste of it). Avoid

Really authentic Italian food, the best you can have in Central London . Loved the Olive all’ascolana, the carbonara pasta and the super nice host recommend an amazing red wine that you can not forget!

Overpriced, and mediocre to poor food. Rosé wine was good but expensive at £40+ a bottle. Never again. It has a reputation of being overpriced. I wanted to put this reputation to rest. Unfortunately, I could not.

Absolutely delicious Italian cuisine, with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is not too heavy or full of unnecessary ingredients. Atmosphere wise it is very cozy and rustic looking. Glad to have randomly walked in here! They were even able to squeeze me in without a reservation. 10/10 would dine again.

This restaurant must be doing something right as it is a great survivor on a busy corner of Covent Garden and seems to have outlasted many others despite the relatively small number of table covers. Perhaps its intimacy is its greatest attribute as the menu tilts towards the pricey end of the market and what is available is fairly standard Italian culinary fare, apart from the occasional nod towards special dishes involving rabbit from the Italian province of Le Marche. There is never any doubt that you will get a good meal here, it just may not be memorable.

Cosy rustic Italian with friendly staff and tasty food options at a decent price

Food was average and service was very but very unpleasant. For the price you would expect the carbonara to be serve from a Parmesan wheel. The focaccia was a bit chewy.

The ambient is great, feel of Italian country side. The service is very bad. Unpleasant and unhelpful. I also feel cheated with Set menu (we've ordered 3 of them) and the single items were much smaller then the same items ordered from the alacarte menu. Food was good but no great. I have eaten a lot of Italian food these was just avarage. Won't get back there.

Family dinner. Eaten starters, pasta and desserts. Excellent plates that followed precisely the italian tradition. Paid 40 pound each. Highly recommended.

Abbiamo trovato per caso questo ristorante a conduzione Italia. Vicino a Piccadilly, vi consiglio di prenotare perché è molto piccolo all'interno. Abbiamo provato la carbonara ed è stata veramente top! Anche i dolci sono da provare! Prezzo nella media, circa 40 euro a testa. Lo consiglio.

We picked this restaurant based on the reviews and were pleasantly surprised by the food and service. I had the rabbit ragu tagliatelle, and my friend chose the pasta carbonara. Both dishes were delicious. The rabbit ragu tagliatelle was rich and generous, and the portions were satisfying. For dessert, we enjoyed tiramisu and the traditional chocolate salame. I'm usually not a fan of tiramisu, but this one was unforgettable. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be returning to this restaurant; it's a gem in this charming area.

Perfect place for a casual, authentic italian meal with traditional recipes from mainly the Marche region. Genuine products, friendly staff, good prices and good portions, It gives you the feeling of eating in an authentic italian "trattoria", which is a cozy little restaurant, where everybody feels at home. In fact we ended up talking with the table next to us. I was really pleased with their tagliatelle al ragù di coniglio. Very delicate but tasty flavour. The Vincisgrassi, which is a sort of Lasagna, was also nice. Very much recommended!!

Authentic Italian food. Felt like I was back in Italy. Pasta was fresh and so, so, so delicious. The meat and cheese board is a must. I had the rabbit ragu and my friend had the cabonara. Both were fabtastic. The space was quite small but luckily we got a table just before the lunch rush. Would definitely go back again. This is my new favourite Italian restaurant in London.

Around 5-6 small table in ground floor with 1 Italian waiter. It’s a amazing experience the waiter seems understands single English words only. Difficult for communication. Lunch sets are good. Pasta was little bit hard (Italian style??) and the bread is hard to chewing. One reminder, no tap water in there.

Piccolo ristorante nei pressi di covent garden dove è possibile trovare piatti tipici della tradizione marchigiana. Da marchigiana quale sono posso dire in tutta onestà che i piatti sono molto ben eseguiti. Il personale gentile e i prezzi solo un pochino più alti rispetto ad altri ristoranti italiani che ho provato in zona, ma sicuramente la qualità è maggiore e si paga. Se devo trovare una pecca è questa: essendo il personale di sala non Italiano, ci si sente un po’ meno a casa. In ogni caso lo consiglio !!

Cercavo un posto dove poter mangiare bene qua a Londra e tra i vari ristoranti mi esce questo, cucina italiana ma soprattutto marchigiana che per 2 marchigiani come noi è stato come essere a casa. Abbiamo prenotato e ci siamo recati al ristorante appena arrivati ci accoglie un signore molto gentile ed educato parlando completamente in italiana marchigiano doc ci libera un tavolo e ci fa accomodare. Iniziamo a ordinare e ci prendiamo un bel tagliere di salumi e formaggi, 2 carbonare e 1 tiramisù giuro di non aver finito la carbonara ero troppo pieno ma era veramente buona. Che dire un’accoglienza top, cibo veramente ma veramente buono, prezzi a mio parere un pochino alti per noi italiani ma essendo qua a Londra e importando questi cibi dall’Italia ci sta tutto. Lo consiglio a tutti quelli che abbiano voglia di mangiare italiano qua a Londra. Grazie veramente con il cuore in questi giorni torneremo a trovarvi ❤️❤️

I have friends who live in the Marche region of Italy so I was excited to see an Italian restaurant featuring food of that region just around the corner from my AirBnB on a recent trip to London. I ate there 4 nights in a row and had pretty much everything on the menu. It was all great and my favorites are Insalata de Mare and Vincisgrasssi. The owner is passionate and there is nothing pretentious about this place. It’s the restaurant you always hope to find but Rarely do.

We ate here four out of the seven nights that’s how good it was! The wine, the food and the staff amazing! They never rushed us out and we couldn’t fault the place. Hopefully we will be back soon!

The food wasn’t bad . Actually the quality was authentic . But the atmosphere and service was super cold and not Italian at all !!!!! We spent 10 min at the door before someone say hallo to us . They left the menu on the table without say a word . No check back , nothing !!! Even the price … super expensive for the quantity of the tagliere . There are better place in Uk .

We booked a table for 8 at about 30 minutes’ notice. I have to admit my hopes weren’t high—I wasn’t expecting much. But what an amazing place … they were so friendly and polite, and the food was fantastic. I would never have thought somewhere this good was operating in the West End. Definitely returning next time we’re in London.

I had dinner with friends at Rossodisera and I was delighted. I have the opportunity to eat delicious food from Marche, so proper regional cuisine rather than the "standard Italian" offered by many restaurants. Staff were friendly and very polite, they answered all our questions on regional recipes we were unfamiliar in details and with a smile.

Abbiamo visitato il locale a maggio. Sulla materia prima nulla quaestio, sicuramente di qualità e "marchigiana" doc. Sulla decantata atmosfera tipica, da fermano in trasferta, ho molte riserve, dato che in sala siamo stati accolti e serviti da due ragazze dell'est Asia.

Un tout petit resto italien au calme du tout fou Covent Garden. A 5 min du métro, un resto ou on se croirait en Italie, de la charcuterie à tuer, des plats italiens et desserts maison, le tiramisu est juste une tuerie ! Juste le vin bon mais cher (le rosé). Réservation obligatoire.

Really cute little wine and cheese shop in the West End, perfect for pre theater dinner. The wines, meats and cheeses were all delicious and the stuffed fried olives and sausage bruschetta were both unique and really tasty. Would order it all again and happily go back any time we are catching a show.
