Rossi in Brentwood

My sons (aged 1 and 5) adore Rossi’s ice-creams, however, I would advise any family with young children/toddlers to approach with caution. I had a deeply unpleasant lecture from the proprietor about my parenting methods and how it was bad business for him to be left to clean up children’s messes when their parents can’t control them. My sons are energetic young boys who find it hard to sit still for long periods of time, but I didn’t think his reaction was proportional to their behaviour— or the situation. Rarely have I felt so publicly shamed as the mum of two young children.

I had a delicious Brie, Grape, Apple and Mayo baguette today. It hit all 4 walls perfectly. Loved every bite of it, was sad when it finished. Spot on. Thank you 😊

My husband and I took our son for ice cream this afternoon and it was lovely! Delicious ice cream, friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend it and also their coffee is lovely.

I come here often with my son as well, 10 months old, and every time they let me feel home. Amazing food, always fresh! Service is very lovely as well. I can’t wait to be back!

can someone enlighten me if we were wrong 😑 we had a bad experience at ROSSI ice cream high street. My husband, my 3 year old daughter and I went to ROSSI ice cream at high street today. We ordered 3 ice cream and sat there but because my daughter haven’t eat lunch yet and she wants pizza that we bought from greggs. We were eating our ice cream and at the same time I’m feeding my daughter a pizza from Greggs its already half then suddenly one of the waitress went to our table and told me that it’s not allowed outside food and she just walked away. The way she talked to me as if I did a crime and the approach was rude. I decided and told my husband to go and he said to them that we will not come there again. I also explained that I’m just feeding my 3 year old daughter and that we also paid 3 ice cream. They said it doesn’t matter. As we leaving the premises one of the waitress followed us outside and carried on and told me that it’s common sense and to educate myself. I find it very rude the way they talked to me and felt insulted telling me to educate myself. We ate there before and saw other people bringing other food in. This post is to warn everyone how rude the staff there.

This place is really a find The food & drinks are superb as is Lee & her staff. They make us welcome every time we visit which is usually for once a week I travel from Kent and visit with my sister We are getting withdrawal symptoms for our lovely lunches we normally order Hope to visit soon Jackie & Rita

Pop to Rossi today with my 4 week old baby and my friend for a coffee and a catch up. When we asked for a table they were reluctant to give us one as we have a push chair. So they moved the seats and said come through. I felt very unwelcome but thought it was all ok after this. Once given the menus, they left us for about 10 minutes to take a drink order. When they finally come over they asked us to leave as two elderly ladies come in with their shopping trolleys and they took priority over my 4 week old babies pushchair. So we got up and left straight away. I’m extremely upset and as a new mum totally unwelcome to Rossi. If your a mum or have children I do not recommend you going to Rossi they do not make you feel welcome.

Went for coffee, which was delicious. Decided to have an ice cream too. What a revelation. Their coffee ice cream is the best I have ever tasted. If you enjoy ice cream look no further. It’s wonderful.

I go to this lovely ice cream parlour regularly with a friend. Staff are friendly and obliging. Food is good ice cream is amazing. My friend has dementia and loves her ice cream sundaes which she enjoys here very much. Definitely a place to go on a regular basis.
