Rose Of India Tandoori And Balti Takeaway in County Durham

Ordered my food an hr earlier and it arrived late and cold. Had to reheat it in the airfryer. The madras sauce was also watery. I have been a customer of them for at least 10 years and will not use again. £15 for a disgraceful takeaway is not acceptable.

Overall OK, bit bland and many of the brown BIR curries would stump seasoned curry eaters as to what they were meant to be. The Tuesday banquet deal is very good value if you don’t mind a more bland tasting Indian. Friendly counter staff and pleasant waiting area,

Tasty food, great service and reasonably priced. What more could you want? Always very accommodating for requests - serving paneer curry which isn't on the menu. Spicy Chips also a must!

Always great food, order from here every week nearly. Always very consistent and my favourite indian. Never had any issues :)

Absolute disgrace to food! I wouldn’t even feed this to my dog. The food was lacking flavour; you are better off eating air. Customer service was a reflection of the food; pathetic.

Really miss the our local Memsahib's Kitchen. So have been trying other places. Got the meal for one special and have to say we were impressed. lovely fresh and tasty food. We will be back.

My husband I have given the takeaway far to many chances now, it is always very cold and the food all tastes the same. The Nan breads dont even taste seasoned! When you call them about it, they are not interested at all. We would probably say its the worse we have ever had. Never again we will go further a field. Dont waste your money

You can not find a better Indian takeaway away than this we moved out of Crook. But it's still worth the 6 mile each way journey to get a takeaway

Me and my husband have been using this takeaway for years I think we have tried pretty much everything on the menu the curries are really flavourful and they will make them as mild or Spidey as you like staff are very friendly delivery is not expensive I would definitely recommend

Over all poor experience,had a long wait for food so thought it would be fresh, got it home and it was luke warm and covered in oil. The curry all tasted the same and lacked any form of flavor. Unfortunately won't be back

My Wife & I visited the Rose of India in Willington, Crook, Co Durham on Saturday evening around 7.00. Unfortunately, to be told; "We are not serving you because our food does not come up to your standards, so can you leave" To be quite honest my wife & I were rather shocked. We have been here a few times before, unfortunately, on the last two occasions the food had been very poor. The lamb was very oily, tasteless & diced into exactly the same size cubes, processed meat rang a bell! However, on this occasion we were going to try the chicken, as we tried to explain to this abrupt man.. We had indeed complained, but not in any shape or form, to be dealt with in this manner. Its no skin of our noses, as we really go out into Durham, where we have always really enjoyed the likes of Allishans, Rajpooth etc. We will certainly NOT be going back to the ROSE OF INDIA ever again.

Thought we would try this place for a bit of a change. The food was average, just average. We both found the curry to be a bit too oily

El Nos orden regular tranquila desde aquí la comida normalmente es bastante agradable una vez o dos veces hemos sido decepcionante pero no a menudo. He de decir que pasamos un poco de dinero. Bien lo siento pero esta noche será el último no pedir otra vez desde aquí orden era yogur es incorrecto que no te den una popadom gratuito o cualquier menta de salsa clientes habituales que lo siento caballeros; pero eso es todo.

En cuanto a comida para llevar que entregar la Rose es uno de los mejores por aquí. son muy buenos ballyhoo lo siento. Eso es un teclado de Google para que sólo prevé ballyhoo cuando quería Baltimore BWI Airport. cualquier manera en la forma en que hacen buenas versiones de eso, pero a veces simplemente a tanta comida colorear las preferencias de un pollo Tikka masala. nunca solía ser rojo brillante cuando yo era un chico.
