Rosa's Thai Glasgow in Glasgow City

Very disappointing. Main course brought out before starter was finished. Chicken satay was like a microwave dish from a supermarket. Rice dish had uncooked onions and the dish was very bland in flavour. We went to Rosa's Thai in Liverpool and it was excellent. Must do better Glasgow!

I absolutely love authentic Thai restaurants, unfortunately this is not an authentic Thai restaurant. I love the flavours of Thai but not the spice! I asked for my curry to be mild, only to be informed that the paste comes in pre made and there is no way to alter the ingredients within the restaurant! This "chain restaurant" does not cater to everyone's palate, it's a case of take it or leave it. If I'm honest I would leave it for a more authentic restaurant with real Thai chefs who can rustle up food which fits with your palate, instead of prep cooks who follow instructions on jars and packets. The manager approached us and asked how we liked our food and when we explained the above tried to defend the chain restaurant with a nasty attitude. I never realised it was a chain and not authentic or I simply would never have stepped in the door.

Comfortable friendly environment. Fish cakes a delight. Good sized portions of mains . Draft Singha beer . You don’t get that often . Service prompt and efficient. No rush to get you out . Will be back .

First impressions, nice Tom yum starter but smaller than usual in other restaurants. Tried the chui chow chilli oil, very diluted with plain oil, soy sauce really runny, so suspect watered down as was the sweet chilli vinegarette. Own brand beer, really tasty but pricy at £5.50 for a small can. Main, fried rice and tofu pad ka prow (if I spelt it right). Lovely flavour, slightly small portion but tasty. Would come back but not as good value as some.

Josh was absolutely babe, was such a great server and had amazing chat! Gave my bestie the best birthday meal of her life - food was also amazing but Josh really made our experience <3

On the last night of a 6 day business trip to Glasgow we dined at Rosa’s Thai and definitely saved the best meal and experience for the end. Brilliant, knowledgeable, interesting staff who made the service so friendly. Great interior deco and lots of lovely little touches that make it extra special. And last but not least, delicious food. It’s a win win dining choice!

Enjoyed a delicious meal on Saturday evening. The restaurant was very busy but service was speedy. Josh, our waiter was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. It was our first visit, but will definitely be back.

Went here for lunch today and the food was amazing, 13.95 lunch deal was definitely worth it and the servers were really nice as well. I got sweetcorn fritters and the panang curry, I recommend both.

Out as a group of 7 and shared lots of the food so was lucky to taste lots of dishes. All fresh and delicious . Was my second visit snd will be back again . Staff regular checked in with us on drinks and service was great. Relaxed atmosphere and no rush to clear us from table . Great night .
