Rosa's Thai Cafe Seven Dials in Camden

We had booked a table and on arrival were shown to a very small table. It felt very close to a door and the drinks area. We were not served. A guy was then squeezed in next to us and the waitress served him before us. I had to ask to order drinks. We ordered out meal and the starters were great. Food was very nice. Main courses were brought before we had finished. I had ordered prawns as I don't eat meat. They brought chicken in error. This was not good as I don't eat meat. I felt that the overall experience was messy. Food quality was the only good thing

En réservant, nous avions demandé si les chiens étaient acceptés. Nous avons juste reçu une confirmation sans autre commentaire. Nous avons tenté de joindre le restaurant à quatre reprises par téléphone. Aucune réponse. Nous y sommes donc allés avec notre petit « Westie » sachant que les chiens étaient acceptés dans la plupart des restaurants à Londres. Ils nous ont laissé entrer, nous installer, avant de nous dire que les chiens n’étaient pas acceptés à cause des allergies. Quelles allergies ? Nous cherchions une excuse pour nous en aller parce que ça sentait mauvais, les plats servis avaient l’air infects et notre table collait. On nous l’a offerte sur un plateau !

This was a disappointing experience. The first floor isn't a nice space; it's dark and crowded. The food was mediocre at best.

Having arrived early for our booking yesterday, we were kindly accommodated but the table was next to the drinks preparation area. Such a small table on top of our neighbour , I was constantly knocked by the server passing regularly. The server wasn’t a very happy welcoming member, all too much trouble. One of our dishes didn’t turn up, no apology. Upon seeking out the toilets the true state of the restaurant was visible. Shabby, dirty and so run down. Toilet was broken, flushing panel in the floor. Food ok but not outstanding. I would avoid this restaurant. I do like Rosa’s and our local branch in Guildford is brilliant but would never return to this one! To cap it all I received an email today to say I didn’t arrive for my booking! Hugely underwhelming

Disappointed to find the GF menu selection is dramatically reduced, and they didn't have it on paper, I needed to filter the online menu. Service was very slow, despite having long queues! Food was ok.

The food was super tasty, although I'd have preferred a better ratio of sauce to actual food in the curry. There was a huge amount of sauce, so when you added the rice, it felt ike you were having a curry soup, which wasn't to my liking. It would be much nicer if the curry was served in a bowl that you can help yourself from, rather than on the plate you eat from. The service was terrible. Very slow and inattentive. When we arrived, they were really busy, and I can empathise with that. However, by the time we finished our mains, most tables were empty. One of the staff came with a card with their name written on it asking for a good review mentioned them, then disappeared into the ether. We didn't get offered dessert or coffee. We sat for almost an hour waiting for the bill, which was fine s we were chatting, but that is just terrible service. I would not recommend unless you're looking for tasty, inexpensive food, and you're not fussed about service.

We went here for my daughter's birthday. Unfortunately they had a nose bleed for quite a long time. The staff were very understanding & offered lots of assistance. They also offered to redo the food which had gone cold. The food was delicious & we all enjoyed the variety of dishes we had. Would definitely recommend & will go again. Thank you Rosa's

I would say the food overall was poor. I ordered the “Crab Khao Pad Fried Rice” and it just tasted like overly salted rice. It had a only few small strands of crab meat and egg mixed in. I ordered an extra egg on top. I need to add several spoonfuls of the table side chili oil for some sort of taste. It came with a fried soft shell crab on the side, some bites were okay, a lot were tough to chew. Never had that happen with fried soft shells before… This overall seemed like an attempt at “western” style Thai food but unfortunately it doesn’t work. Service was quite slow but waitress was nice when she did eventually come to my table. I will say their “Thai Lemon Iced Tea” is delicious. But everything is crazily overpriced. A couple iced teas and a crab fried rice was 27£. Needless to say I won’t be returning.

Extremely underwhelming. Were put in a corner on the third floor with bad lighting and terrible mood. First no music, then blasted our ears out, then the waitress tried to adjust the music and switched the lights on and off several times. Room generally extremely loud. A group of girls came in and yelled around and it was room-filling. Absolute terrible atmosphere for a relaxing dinner. Food was ok but not great at all. Green curry didn‘t have the proper veggies. We can cook that better at home. Bit of a waste for the price. Disappointing. Don‘t go.

A lovely little Thai restaurant out of the way near Seven Dials. A simple menu but very nice indeed, plenty of spice if you want it. Mixed starter was really good but everything is of course London prices!!

I went to this restaurant on 31/10/2023 at 7:30 pm. Me and my gf walked in restaurant and asked for a Table for 2. He asked if we reserved in advance. We didn't. He rudely said that there are no table available and will not be available later on. At least next 1 hour nothing available. So we walked out the restaurant and I went on website to see if I can book table online. I found empty space at 8pm. Just after half an hour so I booked it. At 8 pm me and my gf again walked in restaurant and same guy was at front of house. My gf said to him that we booked table but He rudely said No! You didn't book table because you spoke to me and we fully booked. Then I told him that I booked table online in your restaurant at 8pm and you telling me there is nothing available. He said that we'll, you have to wait untill someone get up. My gf went upstairs to see if there is any space and she asked a girl working upstairs. There was a empty table for 2 but he didn't let us take that table. I felt he did not want us to sit in restaurant. he was very rude, unprofessional, bad manners and racist to us. I will never go back to this restaurant ever again.

Asked for a particular table but was refused because we were a party of two. Come 10 min later, a white couple came in and ask for that table and had gotten it. We are of south Asian descent. Why refused us but don’t hold the same standard to people with lighter skin tones? Horrible experience.

Used to be a favourite but for veggies they seem to have become obsessed with mushrooms and phased out tofu on most dishes. So it is now obligatory to have mushrooms - not really very Thai and not really very nice. bizarre way to run a business

Rosa’s was my favourite restaurant - especially as a tofu lover and a veggie. So why the recent menu change. Drastic change! Painful change! Why is it, that on every veggie dish other than the curries, the tofu had been swapped for mushrooms. Especially on the pad Thai - as it’s literally made in Thailand with tofu in its! It’s a bit odd to be honest, as it’s made every dish completely unappealing and we haven’t ordered or been since the menu change. It’s pretty inauthentic too. I’m not the greatest fan of mushrooms, but this seems a bit bizarre and over the top. Making matters worse they seem to have done a deal with the mushroom company, meaning that this menu change is probably going to last. Drastically disappointed as I have previously ordered from Rosa’s at least once a week. Please change the menu back to being tofu based!

Fantastic food, really good value for money. We had the express lunch and it was so delicious and the staff were super accommodating of allergies and preferences. Our waitress Tahlema was absolutely fantastic and so kind. Will definitely be back very soon!

My husband and I went to Rosa's Thai on the last day of our three week honeymoon through Ireland and the United Kingdom. We were lucky to get a table for 2 without a reservation, but Rosa's was VERY POPULAR and I would highly recommend getting a reservation whether it be just two of you, or a larger party. We ordered the green curry with tofu, Rosa's fried rice with chicken, and a side of rice noodles and everything was great. I like spice, and the green curry was the perfect amount that I could handle, but it did have a good kick to it. Service was great especially given how insanely busy it was during dinner. Would definitely recommend and stop by our next time in London.

Nice restaurant and food. Zyno, the server, is friendly and good giving nice recommendations. Pad Thai is a bit too sweet. But overall it’s a nice Thai food restaurant!

The first impression is good: it looks like Thai restaurant, the don't look at you, and there is a remote smell of Thai food. But it ended there. The food has nothing to do with the original. 1. Som Tam without dried shrimps, cashews intead of nuts and the souce don't even remind the original dish. 2. Tom Yum - funny. That's all. 3.
