Roqitoz in Birmingham

Shocking food and service. Fried chicken strips came out at fridge temperature. When asked the manager claimed they are cooked fresh. No temperature records or HACCP procedures. Rarely leave reviews but this really was dangerous to health. Avoid like COVID !!! I am sorry to be open and honest but guys you really really need to address your food Safety. I will not be reporting this to B’ham food Safety Team on this occasion. You really could harm someone. Also when questioned the catering staff were just laughing it off. Tip change that staff because they will destroy you as a business.

Decided to try this for the first time and it was one of the worst experiences ever. Ordered the likes of steaks, chicken, rice and none of these orders fulfilled our satisfaction. Once the food arrived, the chips came burnt also had no flavour, the steak was very dry and I was not offered the correct cutlery. The rice was all stuck together and seemed very old and not fresh. The chicken was also very hard and once again hardly any flavour alongside the chips. Hygiene was also very poor, asked for a jug of water and they gave us water bottles which fell on the floor and did not replace them. WOUD NOT RECCOMEND AND PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY. STAFF WERE ALSO USELESS!

I ordered food from Roqitos online and they delayed my order for two hours. I got the food cold and soggy and when i tried calling them back they didnt answer my fone. When i tried calling from a different number they picked and didn't give any response to my complain. Such a terrible experience in Ramadhan..! Won't recommend at all..!

Had a home delivery which firstly turned up 45mins late , food was cold and frankly horrible. £26 for 3 burgers and fries. Looked great on menu, don’t be fooled. 2 items of order missing. No answer when I attempted to contact them. Mcds next time lesson learnt

Decided to come with my family for my daughters birthday they were very lovely when we came in sat us down, Order a a few burgers and a family platter was absolutely Lucius would definitely come back, amazing service too I’m very picky with where I eat but they ticked all the boxes!

Fantastic food once I found here I haven't been anywhere else ,the burgers Are amazing .The salmon is a1 . Lamb chops are very tastful .All the food is seasoned and cooked to perfection .even the chips are banging

Called the restaurant before arriving to ask if they were doing the government eat out to help out scheme. They said they were. Once I arrived and ordered, they told me to worry about the bill and pat after I’ve eaten. Once I’d eaten they said they do not partake in the scheme. Extremely disappointed.

HI MYself and wife visited today after been recomomended by my brother Az and we was not disapointed at all the food was amazing we really enjoyed thoroughly and the service from staff (Amir) was excllent the staff are so comforting and very hospitable they add too yr experience we shall be visiting this gem again very soon ,,i am a punjabi lahorey and food is a passion for us ,iefood lover and live by food but this place has set an impression on me certainly with out doubt would reccomend anyday and certainly wil return again soon kind regards omar # LOVE FOOD#LIVE YOUR LIFE #LOVE ROQUTOZ XX BANNNNGGG

Takeaway order. Ordered 2 burger meals and they were cooked to perfection as always and didn't take long at all. The food was amazing just as good as eat in. This review is for the Alum Rock branch and i can see the page has been updated now as there were a lot of negative reviews for Ladypool Rd written here. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone but not the Ladypool rd branch unfortunately.

Ufff where do i start?? Since my visit to Roqitoz yesterday- I have made more trips to the toilet than i have in a week, not just me but my whole family!!! im kinda worried that we might run of out toilet tissue with this whole Coronavirus issue going on (im genuinely concerned for my gut!) Im putting it down to the pulled lamb/chicken.. we all had that and we all ended having potty problems... must be the spices or the oils they cook in. There was quite a lot of fat with the meat as well so i wouldn’t say it was worth the £15 or so. Spicy rice was basically pilau- it was “seasoned” not “spiced”. When we walked in the restaurant half the lights were off, we weren’t even sure if they were open as there was not a single customer in sight- this should have been our queue to go else where- plenty of decent options on Ladypool Road. Service was good, friendly guys who served us just a shame about the food. Only decent thing was the fries and nachos.

roqitoz had us firing rockets non stop the day after, all 4 of us made numerous trips to the loo, over priced food which sadly Was not nice .... My first bite in the pulled lamb had a bone fragment yuk yuk Staff were friendly and no issues there but food BIG let down no way coming back here

First time visiting and I must say, a very warm welcome received. Excellent customer service and the food was far better than I expected, delicious! Environment tastefully decorated to a rustic urban feel. Would definitely be visiting again and recommending to friends and family. Even received free drinks as first time customers :)

I wouldn’t recommend at all especially paying £23.00 pound for two meals what look like i could cook at home

Visited this restaurant with family members for a second time in a week, after initially visiting a week before as a couple. The food was great, staff were very professional, polite and helpful in making recommendations and both visits were a great experience. We ordered a selection of food from lamb chops, to Chicken Nambali and Fully loaded fries, cheesy fries and the signature Roqi Roqi fries. All family members complimented on how well the food was presented and tasted. If you want great food with a twist to the normal fries, burgers etc, definitely visit this place. Prices are also very reasonable compared to many places. Keep up the fantastic work. Two thumbs up!

I bought the chocolate milkshake... too expensive and the straw was made of paper. I didn't enjoy it at all and it was also hard to suck the shake. I wouldn't recommend to anyone

Very pleased with my over all experience, staff were friendly, helpful and efficient with serving food quickly. A great and clean place to eat with reasonable priced dishes. 100% recommend this place

Easily the best burger place in Birmingham. For anyone in Birmingham or visiting Birmingham this place needs to be visited. The food here is amazing and like no other. I would highly recommend this to everyone, the menu is vast and has loads of options...
