I wasn't even aware this small cafe existed outside of the Epsom annual book fair, which we visit every year and which is also held in the methodist church. I had always assumed it opened for special events only, until one of the helpers at the book fair told me it was open all week - though not, sadly, at weekends. My friend and I met here for lunch and enjoyed hot drinks and generously-filled jacket potatoes with a decent-sized side salad. The cost was surprisingly low, with plenty of change from a tenner each. Other savoury options are available: paninis, toasties, sandwiches, etc. We were too full, otherwise we would no doubt have succumbed to the cakes, made by someone local especially for the cafe, I was told. There were some tempting ones on offer but we had to leave those for another day. A friendly, cheery little community cafe, complete with children's play area (and lots of events and groups happening within the church every day of the week), this is a lovely respite from the bustle and noise of the nearby shopping centre. Why not give the ubiquitous chain coffee shops a miss and try this place instead?

Fantastic cafe. Manager, Wendy, is happy to do sandwiches and toasted sandwiches with GF bread. There was even a choice of GF cakes and the coffee and walnut was especially good. My very small companion was very happy with Pom Bear crisps and there is a range of box drinks available. A relaxed atmosphere and small children are welcome.

Lovely coffee. Sat outside as it was a nice day but, it was very uncomfortable. The chairs need replacing and the tables too. They are so old and heading for the dangerous stage. Come on Organico new tables and chairs for outside please!

Cute cafe with great menu. Food was delicious, coffee authentic and service was top class. We enjoyed brunch here and would be back. It does get very very busy at peak times and dogs are usually allowed

We came here at the end of a dog walk and wanted to see what the new manager had done with the place, and we were pleasantly impressed. We had a chat with the new landlord, sorry we didn’t ask your name, and he’s really trying to turn this bar into what it should be, a place where all can come and drink and relax in their community. Wanna play darts, pool and watch football there’s a bar for that, wanna sit and drink with family or in nice surroundings on your own? There’s a bar for that. Please whatever you thought of the bar before come down and try it out now, they’re really making the effort to make sure they cater for all whilst removing some of the stigma of yesteryear, it can only do this if we all do our bit and keep them thriving.

We held my 50th birthday here. The owners, Jodie and George, were fantastic and went above and beyond. They made my guest feel welcome and did a fantastic job making sure everything ran smoothly. The buffet food provided was lovely with plenty to go around . Quite a lot of my guests were locals who had not been here in years and really liked the recent refurb. Thank you for a wonderful night.
