Food absolutely terrible, ordered a large order for the family, the food made us all so ill just after eating it. We won't be going again..!!

Prices are way over the top for the quality of the food, to expensive for my pocket not enough food to fill you up ,won't be going there again for sure.

Ordered chicken fried rice, came quickly and was hot and tasty. Will definitely be coming back to this place.

Dont bother with this chinese takeaway it is awful. The Yuk Sung was all watery with no taste what so-ever...Even the lettuce leaves were yellow which we never eat. The sweet and sour chicken was awful, the dough was soggy and virtually no chicken in it.. The crispy beef wasnt beef it was just crispy batter in a sauce same as sweet and sour. We threw it all away..

Absolutely ridiculous that I had to wait an hour and 50 mins for delivery after they said 50 mins called twice and all he said was sorry no discount or sympathy just kept saying on way, when food arrived it was cold and burnt I will never eat from you again. The chicken looks like is has had a bite out of it. Just gross. Do not recommend

Popped in on the way home from work as couldn't be bothered to cook. I had a veg chow mein. It was hot and a good well cooked portion, but didn't have a lot of flavour. Generally the food is fair from this Chinese.

The food used to be good here but the food we ate tonight was burnt and inedible. The curry had too much curry powder in it and again was unpleasant. I’m going to try somewhere else next time. Sorry

Sad to say this used to be a top not h Chinese but it is drastically going downhill and the prices keep rising!!!

Sad to say had a horrible meal tonight, crispy chicken was bone dry, both the lemon chicken and the sweet chilli chiken, I suspect it was leftover from last night because we ordered at 4.30 and were the first ones to collect, and fresh cooked chicken, even if its cooked dry does not look like what we got, chips were overcooked and dry, as was the sessamee seed toast, fair play to therm though, I took it back and complained and got a full refund.

Coming up to my fourth month of weekly trips to the Rooster, no matter what food we order it’s always super high quality, really tasty and really fast service. Delivery is always quicker than expected delivery times, and the order is always still hot when delivered. 10/10 would recommend to everyone, best Chinese in the Halesowen area.

Special chow mein with only fatty bits of pork , Youk Sung that tasted very sweet. I only order two dishes and was disappointed with both. I used to go to the Rooster when it was a restaurant and was the best Chinese food around , I won't be rushing back if the quality remains the same .

I normally use another Chinese takeaway in Halesowen however it was late at night and I was on my way home so I thought I'd risk it. I close a set meal for one which was supposed to consist of prawn crackers, spring rolls, "three delicious" and fired rice. Cost £9.80. Now a really good chow mien at my usual Chinese is about £4.50 so I'm expecting my meal to be twice the quality of volume. The guy brought my carrier bag out, no prawn crackers. "It doesn't come with prawn crackers" he said. "Well it says prawn crackers here" I said, pointing to the menu. He then gave me a bag of PC. When I got home what I had got was four very, very small spring rolls, smaller than a fishfinger. I then had one carton of fried rice and one carton that appeared to be pork, chicken chop suey. Value for money? Really poor. Traditionally when you go for a set meal you save maybe a quid on the price of ordering the items separately. There was no saving here. The chow mien was full of fatty meat. So disappointing. I'll never go there again. Shockingly bad.

First time I had ordered food from Rooster and unfortunately it will be my last. Ordered Triple Roast and fried rice. Rice was OK but the main dish was uneatable. It consisted of char sui, ribs and chicken balls in BBQ sauce. The char sui was rubbery and had the texture of plastic, the ribs were really fatty and the chicken balls, I couldn't eat. The one I tried I had to spit it out plus the sause was greasy. Very very disappointed as the menu had a good variety of different dishes

ordered on the phone collected right on time no waiting ,the food was great and so was the price will 100 % use again.

food is not bad - use it often as near to home - tell them you will be back in 20 mins and go to the crafty pint!

Never ever again am I ordering online for it I'll go in not waiting 2 hours I'm heavily pregnant and haven a young child and we were starving I ordered from somewhere else and that came before this order did so not going to order online again

I have no idea who now runs this takeaway but I my advice would be to steer well clear. This used to be a well run tasty takeaway but unfortunately not anymore.

The food is always lovely but the bill isn't somehow every time I'm in there the prices are more expensive.

Mi hijo y yo hemos entregado comida china casi cada viernes de este llevar. Pedimos a las 19:00h, así que siempre viene rápidamente. Mi hijo tiene el mismo cada vez y no probar comida de cualquier otra llevar. Yo intercambiar y cambiar un poco, pero siempre es muy agradable.

Me abandonó el barco en el uso de la "China Garden" a media milla más allá de la carretera en ese lugar debido a Hasbury dando mi esposa y dosis de la ia podrá recurrirse en más de una ocasión. So. Como en Quinton no era Pak-Lok abierto, me vi obligado a probar el gallo frente a la Corona Pub como solía ser "o.k.". Pedí mi habitual, curry y patatas fritas y especiales dieron inicio. Las patatas fritas parecía que había sido monje momificado - puedes decir no, cuando el stock antiguo ha sido utilizada! Fueron prácticamente incomible a pesar de tratar de añadir algo de vida a ellos les sumerge la salsa curry - no funcionan. El Curry en sí? Bien, hay unos 75% de Curry Salsa vs 25% de los otros ingredientes que se supone que de cebolla, pollo, ternera y gambas. Ahora. La carne - lo que había era mal, pero ¿por qué tanta salsa curry? Fue nadar! Por desgracia, su salsa curry no probar cosas tan buenas como el de "fish and chips" por la carretera. Realmente triste. Solía frecuentar este particular para llevar Chino durante años antes de estos propietarios, ocupando - solía conocer y llegar con Sam al propietario y a su hijos, Truman y Steve y la comida siempre fue excepcional. Me gustaría que volver porque no parece ser una buena comida para llevar China en Halesowen ya! La única manera de disfrutar de la comida que sale de este lugar sería emborracharse en el Crown Pub enfrente hasta los ojos y el sentido del gusto está muerto. Para concluir, Queridos viajeros, no tires tu dinero ni tiempo de ir a este lugar. El personal es bastante agradable, pero la comida es horrible. Prueba de Johnny Wok en el centro de la ciudad o como se mencionó anteriormente, frente al Royal Oak Pak-Lok fuera Carters Lane. Estarás mucho más feliz. Tuvimos una comida para llevar en el gallo para celebrar el décimo aniversario de la mía y de mi novio. Ambos grandes amantes de la comida china y no nos decepcionó. Nos dieron tres platos principales, dos entradas y dos lados todo por 30 libras! La entrega fue rápida y la comida era deliciosa, sin duda me utilizando más a menudo. Si sólo nuestro aniversario llegó más de una vez al año!

The best part of our meal were the prawn crackers. The yuk song was so full of sugar my misses...

What a pile of rubbish spring rolls were cremated and had no filling they were recycled from previous day.chips not far behind burnt to a cinder. Sweet and sour chicken very bland !! Waste of money .oh well you live and learn.

Always good with a huge choice ; happy to make any tweaks / alterations I'v asked for with food and very friendly.I'm not a fan of many Chinese takeaways finding many greasy, salty or giving me a bit of a "fast food hangover" but after nagging from the MRS, we used the Rooster, six or seven times later over the last year it has ALWAYS been good.Particularly enjoy the vegetable dishes and the satay.

Very good food, the delivery drivers just need to carry change! We are always caught off guard with them not having the correct change!

Yes, do order a takeaway here, we do frequently. The service is always good and you can order on the just eat website too if you don't have the cash ready for home delivery
