Roost in Stockport

Refurb has really enhanced a delightful Heaton Moor eatery. Recommend.

We have eaten at El Cantina several times and had great food. Now merged with Roost and another. Food was awful roast dinner cold, beef stringy and the tapas prawns in dish water and chorizo greasy. We mentioned this to our waitress who said “oh well hopefully it’s better next time” there won’t be a next time. We questioned if the chef was the same and had a reply of nothing has changed well I am sorry I beg to differ the atmosphere then changed so how you paying cash ok took the money then we left without a bye come back soon in sight your loss it was such a nice place but not anymore.

Recently re-opened after a refurb I thought we’d give it another go. It has a new concept with a sort of merger with neighbouring La Cantina and also bringing in La Capilla. Roost used to offer a good family meal with decent menu choice at a reasonable price. At least it did for a couple of years but gradual deterioration of quality (who wants a soggy pizza!) meant we started going to the amazing Vino Buona and Cibus. However (according to the kids, I’m vegetarian) the chicken was over cooked and the chips were poor. And is it so hard to do a decent pizza with a high quality tomato base and mozzarella - so it seems. As an aside, part of a delivery to a house 200 metres away should not be cold and require re-heating. No-one expects a local restaurant targeted at families to offer Michelin type quality. But surely salad should be fresh and the bread not from Tescos.

We had a family meal. Main courses were good side dishes not so good ordered side salad received some letters and four tomatoes chopped in half we also ordered cheesy chips, frozen chips with melted cheese on top was more like an omelette than cheesy chips. So disappointed.

Didn’t book a table and it didn’t look like they had one then realised it was only 2 of us and a 2 year old, he took us to a table and put a chair on for her, very busy but service was excellent, and food was gorgeous. I had Roast beef, and my daughter had chicken wings & hot lips burger, and a kids meal pizza and chips.

The pizzas here are amazing. I have been a couple of times now and would thoroughly recommend. You can watch them being cooked in the wood fired pizza oven at the far end of the cafe. The food is fresh and well cooked. Utterly delicious.

Ordered a take out to be collected with firehouse chips, collected got home no such chips in the bag so I rang up and was told I hadn’t ordered them at all by a terse young female who then said I could come and collect but would have to pay extra as hadn’t charged ( as I had not ordered😳) checked with the kids who heard me on the phone 📞 who would not not hold back in telling me if I hadn’t ordered them 🤨…. My partner says the chicken is consistently over cooked so wont order chicken anymore hence the all singing all dancing chips were required anyway needless to say after years of going and waiting up to 30 mins when I land at the time specified we have had enough and will not be returning.

Always one of our top choices for eating in Heaton Moor. One for all the family. Everything on the menu is brilliant from the pizzas and burgers to the chicken. Definitely recommend the loaded firehouse fries too. Don't forget Wing Wednesday if you want a cracking deal.

We were there last week. Very pleasant inside. Food and service were very good. No complaints from any of us. Will visit again

We continue to come here for family meetups as the location is perfect for us. Was disappointed after our last visit as the pizza was overcooked and took a while to come. It was quite busy when we got there on late Saturday afternoon and surprised the pizzas still took 30 mins to arrive after ordering! However, they were perfectly cooked, very tasty toppings and really good lovely doughy edges. I know most people wouldn't complain about food taking a while to come as they're happy sitting at the table talking. But when you book it makes it clear you have the table for 1.5 hours. We wouldn't have had the time for a starter, main and dessert even if we wanted to due to the time the food takes to come. (Luckily their pizzas are so filling there's no room for anything else!) Amazing quality pizzas but it would be nice to be told in advance that the food will take a while to come (the best thing normally about pizza places is how quick food is served as they don't take long to cook) Will still be back for the great pizza. (The staff are all great as well)

It was our first time there last night (04.08.23) we had booked online of the just in case as yesterday. We can honestly say we will be going back. Our service was brilliant, the guys are friendly, very well mannered and organised, as well as working as a team. Seeing the chefs working as a team and how clean they are was just great. What we had (wings, nachos,burger and fries, chicken pizza, milkshake,Sunday and cheesecake) was really good, the flavours was really good. The atmosphere was very chilled and it was so nice to see our local restaurant being busy. If there was one thing I would pick on is there isn’t any pizza chilli oil if like me you like a bit more kick, but that’s really minor thing. Considering everything has gone up, we thought it was too pricey. Keep up the good job guys😊

Nice food and pleasant service but quite expensive for what you get. I really wanted to try their pizza so it was disappointing they were not serving any pizza on the night I went for dinner. Not sure why. So the remainder of the menu was 90% chicken.

First customers in at 4pm. Took 20mins for the starters to arrive even though no one else was in. The mains arrived 30mins after the starters. The Caesar salad was unbelievably salty. Obviously anchovies are salty but it wasn't just that. Something seemed even more salty. When I told the waitress that I thought it was the sauce, she asked if I wanted her to say anything to the manager. I said that I did want her to take it further. She never returned. When I asked for the bill and enquired what had been decided about the over salted salad, she said the chef said it's supposed to be like that. Sorry, I forgot to mention that salad was made up with 4 lettuce leaves. Perhaps if there were more lettuce leaves, it may have diluted the saltiness. I've had plenty of Caesar salads in my time and it's definitely not meant to be that salty! I'm still unbelievably thirsty 8hours later and I only ate a quarter of the salad. Worst restaurant and service I've experienced in years. And I've been to some bad ones! 😆 Won't be eating there again. I'd recommend that you don't either. If you must go, avoid the Caesar '4 leaf, 10%salt' salad.

Cold food and zero customer service was given no reply

This is the place I chose to meet up with family who are nearby as I've always enjoyed the pizzas here. We did have a good meal but again the pizzas were overcooked. The restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived at 5pm on Saturday, and there were 2 people working on pizzas. So not sure why they were overcooked, or why it took over 25 mins from ordering for the food to arrive? The service was good, and most of the pizza did taste really good. Bit of a shame they've gone away from the neopolitan style thick puffy edges they used to do (pre-pandemic) but the pizzas here still are very good. I've said this recently in my previous review but hopefully the overcooked pizza is a temporary thing, and I'll be back again next time I meet up with my family.

Not been for a while but came on Saturday early evening for a meal. Wasn't too busy while we were there and the service was good as always. I had the chicken chorizo and honey pizza. As always the dough was very good although I'd say that the pizza was overcooked and could have done with a minute less in the oven (the base was very very hard and crispy, and the edges were not as puffy soft as on previous visits). My wife had the chicken tenders with fries (upgraded to the roast loaded fries). The chicken tenders were very good. The chicken on my pizza as well as the chicken on top of the fries was quite dry and we expected better from a place that has a lot of chicken on the menu. I would choose the goats cheese and chorizo pizza next time as I've had that before and it was really good. And no point paying more for a pizza that has chicken on if it's going to be dry. We will come back again and I hope that the pizza isn't as well cooked next time. Hopefully it was just a one off. I recognise that there's a fine line between perfectly cooked and over cooked when it comes to pizza ovens, but the chef should be on top of it. Thanks for a good meal overall.

I took my wife and kids on Mothers Day. There were pro's and cons, the cons unfortunately won My wife ordered the Beef Roast Dinner. The Beef was cooked really well. lovely and pink. I ordered the chicken, and got 1/2 a chicken, which was OK. nothing to write home about, dispite these guys having chicken based menu What we got With the meats was pretty poor. The cauliflower was cold, the potatoes were nothing special, and the amount of gravy offered was really small. I admit I could probably have asked for some more, so partly that's on me. The main part of the plate was a huge helping of leek, and peas. loads of it. and it wasn't great. The highlight of the meal came with a double edged sword. I'd ask you to have a look at the menu, it appears that there is a wide pizza section, detailing costs, and confirms cost for additional items. Below this however is what appears to be a separate menu for build your own. £9.50 - upto 6 items. the price didn't make sense considering the cost of the pizza above, but "additional items" cost appeared to be linked to the section above - and this £9.50 was a flat fee with upto 6 items. We were wrong to think this. My daughter ordered a pizza with BBQ sauce, chicken, feta and olives. it was, to be fair blooming lovely. *its worth stressing, it really was a good pizza!* However when the bill came it had cost us over £20!! we discussed with staff at the time of paying, and they disagreed that the menu was misleading - they did however remove the cost of these items from the bill as a good-will gesture. they were clearly not happy about it though. Before we got the bill, we were saying we would defo come back, but stick to the pizza, give the roast a wide-birth. after we got the bill, (and although the dispute was resolved) - I really don't think i'll be going back. Its a shame, nice looking place, good pizza. just very overpriced, and not clear menu.

Another amazing meal in from Roost take out tonight. It’s a lovely little place that also offers the menu on a home delivery for those nights you want the meal but don’t want to go out. Pizzas and chicken are absolutely fantastic. Delivery staff always great too. Highly recommend visiting or ordering in! Easy to get a table in the week day evenings but would definitely book for Friday evenings and weekends. Thanks guys for another great meal

I am a semi-regular at Roost as the Staff make you feel comfortable and at home and the food and refreshments are always excellent.

Kids enjoyed watching their pizza cook. Not outstanding but the char grilled halloumi and salad was very good, apparently.

Chicken tenders were to die for! Went with a group of 4 and tried almost everything on the menu. Much better than Yard and Coop and other fried chicken restaurants in Manchester city centre - definitely a hidden gem in Stockport!

Came for the rotisserie roast and was not dissapointed! They have a great menu here including rotisserie chicken, pizza 🍕 (they have a wood-fired pizza oven, so pizzas are really good) Children's menu was also very good. Service worth a mention as well - staff ard I formal, friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back!

We called in to Roost on Friday night, 16.09.2022, as a spontaneous, post-cinema, treat as both my wife and I just fancied a pizza and what a treat. We hadn't booked but after a very short, less than 5 mins, wait we were shown to our table toward the back of the restaurant and menus were provided and orders taken by the extremely courteous, two young lady waitresses. Food arrived, piping hot, and was absolutely delicious - meat feast pizza and lovely house fries - from the wood fired oven and made to order whilst we watched/waited We will definitely return as Roost has easily become our future, post-cinema, treat venue and we would highly recommend

Really enjoyed our family meal here tonight. The food was delicious and well presented as were the drinks we ordered. The lady who served us was friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back

Really disappointing that you charge almost £3 for a small glass of Diet Coke or other soft drinks . Very overpriced. You might want to reconsider this charge or double the size of the drink Especially when you could walk across to Tesco and get a bottle for £1.

Get takeaway from here regularly. Very diverse menu, tasty and always delivered hot and on time. Recommend highly.

Our waitress Harriet was very professional and friendly and made us feel very welcome. Our pizzas were tasty and good value for money. The Vega Piedra Rioja was excellent. Would recommend this restaurant.

Had a really sad, inexcusable experience at Roost on Saturday evening. My partner, son and I came here for an "early bird tea". Deliberately booked early (5pm) to avoid the evening rush and knowing we had a teething toddler in tow! We decided to order little'uns food first as he was hungry and we fancied a glass of wine before eating. Bambino had a minor tantrum, as they do when hungry and teething, but thankfully nothing that wasn't solved with a couple of toys and his delicious food then arriving. Sadly, the latter didn't happen before I was put on the brink of tears by the snooty barman/acting manager throwing a bunch of disapproving looks and raised eyebrows my way, and underbreath comments to his colleagues before turning the music on and up, presumably to drown out "the little devils" short protest. Let's just say, we were made to feel very unwelcome very quickly, decided not to order food and let our toddler finish his meal before swiftly leaving. We actually took the time to raise our grievance with the manager upon leaving - his nearby staff quickly jumped in to defend his attitude, and whilst he was quick to insist we must have got the wrong end of the stick, he made his feelings pretty clear by protesting that our little boy was "nowhere near as bad/loud" as some of the kids they have in. I think his efforts to redeem the situation backfired pretty quickly in one passing comment. I'd also mentioned the fact that upon ordering the kids pizza I asked which 3 toppings were included (assuming the more expensive ones on the menu would be excluded). The waitress responded we could choose any... after the meal were hit with an extra £5.50 for 3 toppings. All in all - a pretty dire evening. 25 quid for a couple of drinks, a kids pizza, and being made to feel like sh*t by a bartender who frankly should re-evalauate his choice to work in the ("child friendly venue") hospitality sector. Bartender concluded with a quick "sorry toy misunderstood and hope you'll be back soon then". My partner and I used to come here lots when we lived round the corner - food and service never disappointed. We won't be back again, the experience ruined our evening and tarnished our memories of what was once a fab little local restaurant.

Arrived on a Sunday later afternoon. Told it could be 40 minutes which we said fine. Order included two roast chicken dinners. Told after an hour they didn’t have them and we had to order something else. Reluctantly ordered a burger each and was told it would be 20 minutes. 40 minutes later it arrived. Was offered a discount on food but no free drink, no apology and no goodbye when we left. Had been regulars before this; seriously considering if they value customers at all

We went to Roost specifically for their ice cream sundae. We had been before and had a chocolate brownie which was fab We ordered the waffle sundae expecting the same fabulous indulgence What we got was a waffle with a blob of ice cream on top and some fudge pieces scattered !!!

Dry tasteless overpriced chicken dishes.Very disappointing. Very nice attentive table service, spoilt by surly bar tender.

We just picked up a takeaway from here and it was delicious! The pizza dough was unreal, you can’t get better much than pizza from a wood fired oven. You could tell that the ingredients were fresh and high quality! We also ordered the loaded fries with chicken, cheese and gravy (would recommend). Definitely head in if you’re in the local area

Really bad experience, won’t return. Chicken was dry .. food was cold and the service was really poor, had to wait nearly 50 mins to get the. Main (we didn’t even have starters) my drink was empty for what seemed a life time. I could Understand it if they were busy, but the staff were just stood at the bar wandering into space. No situational awareness at all. When the food finally arrived, he asked did we need anything else I said yes please a gin and tonic, so off he went to get it. Never arrived. Then the waitress came over for the usual how’s the food question and do you want anymore drinks. I said, I ordered a gin and tonic 15 mins ago, off she went to check and it had not even been ordered. I just wanted to leave at this point. Then to top it all of the take away service they offer from the back of the restaurant but move out from the from front of the restaurant means the delivery guys are in an out of the restaurant in between customers eating with giant red food bags holding them above their heads and the customers as they squeeze though the tightly packed tables and chairs. They need to do something and send the food out the back way. Felt like I was in a truck stop and the seat we were sat in it looked like the food had been flicked off the table onto the pews and not cleaned before the next person sat down! To top it off a big fluffy can tan in from the back of the shop (lovely cat) however the waitress who was serving food picked it up and held it against her apron, put it outside and didn’t even change the apron or wash her hands !! Couldn’t make it up Disappointing, would not return based on this experience

Had a lovely family meal here on a busy Saturday night. The staff were very attentive and all requests were delivered upon promptly. Also, thanks also to the chefs, the food was awesome and prepared perfectly.

Food good. Service less so. Like 50% of the time I've been here I've left annoyed by the experience. We've decided that we wont be going back for a while.

Booked a table for 5.30 Sunday. Arrived sat at the table with menus. Ordered drinks and then was told it would be an hour before we would be served as they were busy with takeaways. Everyone else apart from one table were eating their mains. We said we could have ordered 3 courses each plus drinks and coffee but they were adamant it would still be an hour. We stood up and walked out. Never again

Food is great, can’t fault it. If you value service though, well that leaves a lot to be desired. Make sure you request to sit near the front of the restaurant as the back resembles a takeaway in full operation as they work around your table packaging pizzas for delivery. The temperament of some staff sadly wasn’t suited to a ‘service’ role either

The meal was £35 for two mains with sides and drinks so great value. The service was also great, and came really quickly. Would recommend if you are in the area, as the portions are huge and tasty.

Tasty nachos and hallomi bites! Only niggle was the tall chairs outside, personally I find them a bit uncomfortable but appreciate that they're okay for others!

Lovely food as always, but this time I tried one of the pizzas as it had been recommended by a friend. I will now be ordering the chicken pizza all the time it’s the most delicious pizza I’ve ever tasted. I had the sauce on the side because I was told it was very hot and I also didn’t have the spicy sausage so it’s a plain chicken pizza with chilli sweet peppers.. delicious Defiantly recommend and is now my favourite dish.

Service excellent, smiles never faltered, even when one of our party spilt a full pint! Food was delicious, 3 of us had the nacho burger 1 had roast chicken dinner. £80 for 4 adults and 1 child inc 2 milkshakes 2 soft drinks and a beer. Reasonable price.

Really tasty food and relaxed atmosphere. Table service was attentive, but without pressure, and the team members were lovely. We really enjoyed our meal here, would go again!

Had a drink in The Moor Top pub and you can order from Roost to your table in the pub. Great Wood Fired pizza, tasty wings and the firehouse sauce is crazy good.

The food was absolutely lovely and everything was so well organised. It was a fantastic surprise finding it. I moved around here recently and found this gem.

No word of a lie. Hands down thee nicest food. Tried for the first time today whilst having a pint in the moor top. Had the hunters chicken burger and with fries which was evenly priced at £11.00 and would recommend this. Definitely will visit again!

The best pizza you eat even better then real Italian one!!

I had the Caesar salad then chocolate brownie, my friend had a tandoori pizza on the specials menu then ice cream. We both enjoyed our food, my friend said it was one of the best pizzas she had eaten, as we waited a bit longer for desserts they didn’t charge us for them which they didn’t have to do but it was a nice gesture, all of the staff were lovely. I would like to visit again and try one of the rotisserie chickens!

Unfortunately quite dissapointing first order for us! Ordered a delivery from Roost for the first time last night. The sides and salad were very tasty, really enjoyed them. However, the main portion of the meal was the whole rotisserie chicken was dry. I emailed, as I was unable to ring, the manager and have recieved an option of a full refund or a free replacement on our next visit. Can't fault the management's response offering to refund the chicken or have a free one on our next visit, and I am sure we will try again. If the sides are that good you would have to think the chicken was a just a one of mistake.

This is a nice restaurant with well trained and attentive staff, a homely feel and a proper wood fire oven. It's just a shame I wasn't impressed by what I thought was going to be their best dish. I ordered a whole chicken and I literally got just a whole chicken with some spicy mayo sauce. The chicken meat itself was dry. I was at least expecting it to come with chips or a choice of sides, but sides are an extra. I love chicken and for a place called "Roost", especially for the price, this was disappointing. The pizza however was lovely thin crust and tasty. Hot dog and burger were spot on. I'd come back again for the service and pizza, but not for the chicken.

Very friendly staff and always quite busy. Got a pre cinema table without booking.Good range of pizza toppings which offer something different from the more boring ‘traditional’ toppings. Opted for putunesca and greek, both great.Good range of the new canned ales and some draught lagers but again local. Chose a Rioja which was worth the extra £3 over the Tempranillo

Ivr been to this venue twice. Om both occasions I've been served by friendly staff and had beautifully cooked and presented food. BUT on this most recent occasion the price of drinks was a hit in the happy sacks. £4 For a large diet coke, 4.75 for a glass of beer and 5.75 for a standard glass of wine is 5aling the Michael. Such a shame

Really gone downhill , the Rudy's Manchester style pizza has become pizza express style. The fact they served me an overdone dry pizza adds to the disappointment. The guy who cooked knew it was overdone , the waiter who placed it in front of me knew it was overdone , but they were not bothered it seems.This used to be brilliant , what a shame.

I had been recommended Roost for its takeaway pizzas that it does but I called in to eat in the restaurant with friends last night.It was very busy with a lively atmosphere but we were quickly seated with drinks and menus provided. The menu had a choice of starters and then mainly pizzas, chicken and some burgers with a couple of specials on the night. All of our group enjoyed the variety of dishes that we ordered and a couple managed desserts which were generous portions. Good choice of beers, wine and other drinks to and the waitresses were very quick, organised and willing to help in any way. It was busy but there was no delay with food and the pizzas are really good. I would recommend it (but probably not if you like it too quiet) as good good and a lively atmosphere.

Their chicken burger is amazing!

We went for a meal with the family before Xmas. Staff were polite and friendly. The food was nice and hot. We found it quite expensive. The carvery was a big piece of chicken and Yorkshire pudding which was also big. There wasn't alot of veg as they bring it to you. It was diced carrot and swede. For £13.00 I thought that was quite expensive really. We've been to other places where they serve a carvery and we've got a full plate for less than that. I had a turkey sandwich with with chips. The turkey sandwich was nice apart from the cranberry sauce and stuffing on it but other than that it was really nice. Wasn't over keen on the chips but they were eatable. That was only £9 which was quite reasonable.

Food was fantastic. Most of the staff were amazing. The only thing that totally wrecked our trip here were the horrible people on the opposite table. (And we were sitting in the bar) They made a complaint to the staff that our dog was eating some chicken we had ordered for her a bowl on the floor. (Let me add, they had hound children running around at gone 8:30 at night.)From there ownwards we had to deal with comments being passed from this table. It’s not often our family get to go out with my health these days, and this person totally wrecked our night. It had been the first night I had been out since being in the Christie again. I can’t be over positive with the restaurant as they did make a ‘meal’ about it after the table complained. And we had messaged them earlier that night to check if it was ok to bring our dog, of which we were welcomed with open arms to sit in the bar area and eat. Including our dog eating too. It seems some customers must be wort more net value than others, and that was after spending quite a considerable amount of money. As I say, food and service was good. But after being asked loudly by the waitress to not let our dog eat food we had just bought in their restaurant.... we may never return. Really was quite embarrassing. My husband brushed it off, I don’t think I can. Don’t advertise dog friendly if other customers hold you to ransom,

We phoned ahead to see how long the wait would be for a table since we were a larger group with a baby. They said they had a table available so we walked there asap! Thankfully the table was available along with a highchair. The restaurant soon got busy once we'd sat down and we did have to wait a little for the food but the staff kept us well informed and let us know when it was almost ready, which was thoughtful. We all enjoyed the Sunday roast with Christmas sides of extra roast potatoes, stuffing and pigs in blankets. The portion size was impressive- it was half a chicken and plenty of everything else. The Yorkshire pudding was particularly delicious. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I think we were told the table was available for 1.5hours but actually we didn't feel rushed or aware of this in slightest once sat down! Will most definitely visit here again!!

Well, isn't this a nice little place in Heaton Moor. Really good service and really good food. The only slight niggle was that I found the food to be quite slow in being served. When it did come, it was amazing. I had the Scampi with Sweet Potato fries and it was lovely. I finished up with a Moorteaser milkshake, wow. Just wow. I totally recommend Roost. You won't be disappointed!

Great delivery service! Best halloumi fries I've had in a long time, good wine and tasty pizza with plenty of toppings. Only downside was the pizza wasn't sliced, but no matter really. Will 100% order again.

We have visited before and really enjoyed the Sunday lunch, however the same can’t be said this time around. Couldn’t believe it when we got the bill and they had charged us £2 extra gravy ( a thimbles worth.......really!!! So instead of the meal costing £13 it cost £15. This is not about the money but the principle of the fact. We questioned a member of staff about this and they just shrugged their shoulders. In addition, We also asked if they did gluten free beer and the waiter response was I don’t think so but didn’t check!

We’ve been coming here for a year and it started out as our favourite place but I’m sad to say we won’t be coming back again. I’ve complained before tonight but we decided to give the takeaway another go... That was my margherita pizza with spinach and onion. £9.50 and it’s tomato sauce, hardly any cheese and I can’t taste any basil. I think the picture says everything, the ones in the co-op are better value.

There is nothing we like more than to go to the savoy cinema a few doors away and then on to roost.

Ordered a rotisserie chicken, due to oven not working. The chicken was absolutely tiny and it also smelt and tasted a bit odd. Also, at £18 for a chicken, it was hugely expensive- I expected a lot more. Delivery was spot on time though.

We've been here a few times now and have always been impressed with their food.

Busy but fast turnover of tables so be prepared to have a pre drink at bar or outside. Known for chicken and pizzas which are very good. Pizza toppings from standard through to unusual, opted for the Greek and the Spicy Sausage, enjoyed them. Another had fish goujons which were fairly substantial. Coleslaw and salad fine.

Unless your eyes are bigger than your stomach only choose a half chicken, not a whole chicken.

We ate here after finding ourselves in the area. The atmosphere inside was great, visually great and the staff were extremely friendly. The food was really nice and exactly as described on the menu. A good selection of drinks were available to accompany our meals

We went for lunch and the restaurant was relatively empty, so, no stress there. Chicken wings were fine, although we did not realise that that they would be breaded. OK, maybe our fault. But the pizzas really could have done with a few more minutes in the stone oven. The base was quite soggy, not what you would expect from a good restaurant.

We were visiting my son in Stockport who lives in Heaton moor. Great location walking distance from his apartment. Didn't have a reservation but manage to get a table just by walking off the street. Front of house lady very friendly and polite and assisted us from start to finish. Customer service was first class. Great family environment providing books and toys for young ones. Good menu lots to choose from. What I liked about it was the open kitchen/pizza style service. Good value for money. Would definitely revisit.

Revamped damson with in its previous form Rather expensive and minimal portions. Chicken ok I suppose theres not much you can do to chicken. Pizza fine would give 6/10

Stopping in so decided to have a takeaway from Roost Online ordering is easy to use and gives you a delivery time Food arrived spot on time and was piping hot and delicious Great service!

We often go in to Roost for just drinks by the bar, they are always happy with this. They serve a few beers on tap, like Shindigger, as well as having an assortment of wines and gins. Always pleasant inside, as well as out the front. The staff are friendly and the loos are clean.

Friendly staff, good service considering they were very busy. Well priced. Will come back.
