Awful food. The onion rings were over cooked with hash browns in the box with them that we didn't order. The garlic bread was awful as was the nan bread and chicken. Don't bother going here had to go to mcdonalds instead

The customer service was really good, they are extremely well mannered and kind, and the food was even better we loved Charlie’s takeaway and will definitely be coming again.

Food is fantastic and very friendly staff

As soon as delivered I had to open my doors due to the smell of old oil used to cook the chips. The barms were hard and the filling sub standard. Will not order again!

Friendly staff. However the two large chicken kebabs were truly terrible.

Excellent Kebab with freshly made nan

I ordered a mixed kebab and a ham and pineapple pizza, paid cash and even gave a tip, food was absolutely horrid! Kebab was the sweatiest thing I’ve ever seen and the pizza was just dough, shocking

Chicken kebab I ordered a few weeks ago smelled foul like a rabbit cage 🤢, thought there was a rancid smell when they put it on the grill, wasn't until I actually cut into the kebab I realised it was the meat. Unsure how it's actually possible to make meat smell like that Pizza was OK but totally put off by the kebab Have bought kebabs here for years, had good kebabs here before, seems to have gone downhill though

Awful! Mine and my brothers milkshake had small bits of foil in the drink. Never been more disgusted, had to throw it all away. Also took a while to make and wasnt full.

I have been to charlies last night and food was lovely,specially kobideh kebab was very delicious and staff are very friendly and nice.

I’ve had some good kebabs from here before, but the mixed kebab tonight really wasn’t great. The lettuce wasn’t fresh and the kobedeh had a very funny taste to it like the meat wasn’t fully fresh, but part of it didn’t seem Cooked at the end’s. The chicken was way over done and dry I’m not sure I’d be back after this it was disappointing for £13.

Shocking, guy put the phone down. Give us pure dough as a nan bread, then left the phone off so I couldn't get through. His attitude when I told him of our complaint was beyond dreadful. Never ever use this place. Everytime I ring them to sort they put the phone down on me. Doner was freezing cold. Honestly never ever use them. When I say dough I mean dough, and when I day cold I mean freezing cold.

It was a very nice place to have a food,specially the kobideh kebab, burgers and pizza.They have got a car park at the back of the shop as well and this is very good.

Shocking... Chicken kebab had three small pieces of chicken, cucumber & tomatoes were larger in size & quantity. As for the price... Cash only?? Sorry i'd advise you to keep your money in your pocket. The guy behind the counter, not very welcoming.

Not ordered from here for a while. It has definitely gone down hill . The kebab Calzone was greasier than my grandads bril creamed hair..it was overpowered with garlic and hardly any meat or onions, and no tomatoe sauce that you would expect on a pizza base..i threw the lot in the bin. The chips were like warmed up not fresh. The kebab doner meat was again way too greasy . My son liked his 1/2 lb cheese burger so that is something , but the rest was inedible . The free garlic bread was the best thing. So in all 29 quid down the drain I will never order from here again .The staff are friendly so they got 1 star for that and 1 star for my sons burger . I actually feel sick from the grease . Maybe all the good reviews are from drunk people from the pub over the way, or they have never eaten decent takaway food before.

Charlie's food is prepared and cooked from the freshest and best ingredients and arrived in a healthy and completely warm package. Charlie's atmosphere is so good that I think it is my personal kitchen. Thanks to Charlie for a memorable night for It created me and my family

Meat and salad fresh. The chicken is nice but they should really change the wording of the ‘fresh Naan’. This is 100% packet Nan warmed up. I’ve seen the guy take it out of the packet and warm it up on the top. Considering the price I would expect fresh naan as it is quite expensive for what you get.

Ordered Kebabs, pizza and chips. All arrived within a really good time considering it was New Years Eve and they were busy. Food arrived hot and was really tasty. Very friendly staff and great service.

Ordered for the first time at 17:02. I can understand it can be busy or whatever it is. But I’m supposed to wait 45-50 minutes for soggy chips, soggy garlic bread and chicken pita and none of it is hot? At least deliver my food hot, if I have to wait that long. We’re able to heat up the garlic bread in the oven and the rest wasn’t edible. All for the bin. Never ordering ordering food online again. Just so disappointed...

My word! Never again. Chicken and donner kebab: donner meat pale/underdone, the chicken was passable and the naan disintegrated when I tried to pick it up, it was so thin and also poorly cooked and had almost certainly never seen a tandoor.

I'm sure they've been better, but last time out the kebabs were mediocre. But it's the only late kebab shop in the area, so if you want some late night food, it'll do a job

If you need something after a good drink Charlie's will soak it up,never had a problem,quick and you get what you ask for.double cheeseburger and fries.

Unfortunately Charlie's take away cannot be be trusted. There delivery expectation is a joke, I was told 50 mins and after 1 hour and 30 mins I called them and I was told to wait 20 mins longer.

The charlie's takeaway appears simple, but the flavors have remarkable depth. Charlie's is known best for its range of Kebab with Fresh Naan, and the reputation is well deserved.The shop is both clean and tidy all the staff members there greeted my companions and me with smiles as warm as the Fresh Naan they serve there. I would thoroughly recommend Charlie's Takeaway to anyone with a good Appetite. I know I'll certainly be returning soon.

Lovely serving team and absolutely gorgeous pizzas. Even the margherita is delish' with no skimping on the tomato sauce and nice and herby. The donner pizza (with salad) is also incredibly yummy. Haven't tried the kebabs or burgers so much but the donner meat and chips is pretty good. :-)

As a lorry driver this is without a doubt best kebab in the country. I had the king kebab. Loads of meat and chillie sauce is to die for.

Been using Charlie's for a long time now always deliver to our house around the corner grange ave , the workers are always polite and always throw a freebie in ! Good food excellent value which helps as my wife can eat she's a big woman lol

Fast delivery Food was slightly cold however warm enough to eat, kebab's and onion rings were spot on and got free hash browns so I'm happy. I'd give it a 5* if it was a bit warmer

Great food, staff very friendly. If you want your kebab done in a certain way they are very accommodating, nothing is too much trouble.

We live quite close by and it's one of our favourite places to buy a great pizza and get a second one free of charge. The toppings are wonderful and varied and they are always happy to let us change the toppings. The salad boxes are great as well. They sell kebabs and we see many people buying them but we have not tasted those. We often buy when our grandsons visit as they are all growing boys and the sizes and prices are great value for money.

Worst kebab ever! Popped in for a kebab last Saturday after a fireworks display, I presume they thought I had been drinking and therefore an easy target! However I was completely lucid. I ordered a chicken kebab which was prepared in a timely manner but after paying the chap was unbelievably dishonest, I should have received £1.80 change, I checked and was only given 80p, I questioned the vendor who had the £1 ready in his hand and handed it over! When I got home the kebab was inedible and went straight in the bin, the naan bread was rock hard and snapped into pieces when attempting to pick up, I tried a piece of chicken which was too salty to eat, I rarely eat fast food but do love a kebab from time to time, I will never darken their door again. 0 stars.
