A good dessert parkour serving a good variety of desserts and lovely tea. Not a big coffee lover but the tea is on point. Staff could do with better training on service, speed, cleanliness, customer service etc but maybe they were new and still getting up to speed so can be forgiven. I will be coming back here again. Lovely setting for a quick meeting and a quick dessert and tea. Thank you

Clean sort of American diner design. Friendly, helpful staff. Food on a couple of tables looked good. I just fancied an ice cream sundae. Ordered the Oreo with choc & vanilla ice cream. It looked OK. But it was a dessert that just kept giving. Superb & a reasonable price.

This is mine and my partner’s favourite dessert place, I found out about this little gem around a year ago and I will still travel from Bury to get hold of their delicious cheesecakes and the peanut butter stacks are to die for! So yummy! The girls serving are always lovely with smiles on their faces, very attentive. Love this little place! :)

It's a nice little place. Your average dessert place. Nice desserts, nothing AMAZING but it's definitely worth going in.

I came with my friends to celebrate birthday. I've been a few times before and always enjoy it . Coffee is delicious and cakes are really good! I like that it's open till late so you can go evening time. Staff is very friendly and they always help with the choice. Highly recommend this place. The food was amazing so tasty the breakfast was really big and everyone at the place was so friendly and accommodating. The chef Asma made the food which was absolutely delicious and all staff were so great. Would recommend a visit.

We had chocolate cake and a waffle to take out , both were amazing although we did wait quite a while, I will definitely be visiting again :)

Went today with family ordere a masala chai and a simply Nutella waffle and a crepe....... Tea tasted of masala but awfully weak looked liked milk! Simply Nutella waffle for my 6 year old son came wrong with white chocolate so clearly explained to the lady that my son wanted Nutella only... came second time with nuts so sent it back.... few minutes later a young lad who took the order came out & said manager will not make again!!! So I said fine I’ll get a refund, which I did. On my way out spoke to the youndlad & said I want to talk to the manager he disappeared for a bit then came out with some petty excuse can’t find manager & that’s he’s probably downstairs on a break but could clearly tell he was lying!! Explained to the lad both times wasn’t our fault and no apology nothing and the fact my son who was so looking forward to his waffle went home disappointed!! Absolutely awful day disgraceful customer service.Will not be returning!! Will take custom elsewhere!!!

Really lovely relaxed evening with 4 small children at this little place. The staff were very accommodating and attentive. The desserts were very good. Value for money. Would visit again.

Thought I'd give Room Four Dessert a try today as I've seen posts & how amazing it is. I do believe everyone is entitled to their opinion. They are currently doing refurbishment so did not get to see the full capacity of the shop. They serve a small selection of food as well as a large selection of desserts. They have a display cake fridge full of various desserts. We ordered: peanut butter stack - which is the same stack you find in every dessert shop so you know it's going to taste fine. Banoffee waffle: fresh egg waffle comes in four quarters, drizzled with sauce, a side of banana and a scoop of ice cream on the side. Reece's peanut butter cheesecake: has to be the worst thing I've tasted. There was no peanut butter taste at all except for the Reece's cup on top and the server recommended that. Ice cream: you can't really go wrong as it's movenpick. Espresso: if a place is going to do coffee they need to at least be able to do it right. Very little crema on top and the coffee was really bitter. It's a nice little place but it's just your average dessert shop there is no wow factor.

A fully halal dessert cafe, they do some really nice desserts you won't see elsewhere, nice and clean, good atmosphere. Went in there to see what kind of desserts they serve and was quite impressed at the variety and prices (quite reasonable). It was quite busy (which is not a bad thing), but worth the trip. Went back for breakfast a week later which was also very good, they do a variety of different latte's, chai's etc as well, would recommend and will be returning.

Came in after a hospital appointment, brilliant dessert, they also do breakfast and have a lunch, evening menu. Very friendly staff member who served us.👍

9 of us came here including kids. We had a fab experience and the food was lovely. Reasonable prices. The place is not that big but we were lucky there werent that many visitors. Maybe book a large number b4 u go.

My husband and I came for dessert and I have to say it was the worst dessert experience we've had. The waffles were mediocre, tasted average, looked a bit messier than their usual presentation. and I ordered a peanut butter stack. I asked for it to be warm to which the staff member said that's fine. It came out half warm, half cold. I asked them to reheat it and when it came out it tasted off. Both cake and peanut butter were one big splodge because it was over-heated. And truthfully after two bites I wanted to heave. My husband also felt sick and he loves rich desserts. There was definitely something not right with it. We left it and told the lady as we were paying we weren't happy with it. She said 'because it be's cold it's not supposed to be warm so the peanut butter must have curdled ' quite casually, and did not hesitate to charge us. The members of staff were constantly in the back giggling, nobody was on the counter, had to keep waiting for a member of staff to come out. Absolutely rubbish service. It was quite empty for a Saturday night at 10pm and after the level of service and quality of food I'm really not surprised.

Not all that very basic desserts will not recommend it to anyone who is a gelato lover but a time out thing

I visited at lunch with colleagues and was really disappointed with the service and food. We had to wait for 40 minutes to place our order, at which point 2 of our party had to leave to get back to work on time. They were out of some things on the menu which is poor when they only have very limited choice anyway. The food was acceptable but cold. I ordered tea but got the wrong one, sent it back and got the wrong one again. I just drank it. It wasn't particularly busy, there were people in but not so many that it should take an hour to get one sandwich and a potato. Poor, I won't go back.

I have visited room four desserts before a while back and really enjoyed the desserts however I will never return to this establishment again after the disgusting customer service. Honestly feel sorry for the owner/managers of this place as a particular staff really let us down. We ordered the loaded chips with chicken and it was extremely dry we requested drinks before the meal and the waiter just didn't bring them out we called out excuse me numerous times and we were ignored over and over again. I was disgusted and humiliated by this as if he had a personal vendetta to ignore us repeatedly we know he heard but simply chose to ignore us as he looked at us. Honestly really rude and disgusting service and the chips and chicken was so dry it was honestly inedible. I'm sorry room four I used to be a fan but not anymore. Should've gone to cube instead.

was very excited to visit as the food looks delicious. As we arrived we had no greeting , we had to ask 2 member of staff could we be seated after 10 minutes of standing around. We eventfully got seated and 5 minutes passed and we had to ask a member of staff for a menu. we then ordered and soon later we got given our knifes and forks however the table was dirty and had ice cream all over it from the previous customers and the staff didn't do anything about it . I had to ask them to clean the table which took them a while until they did so . the service was terrible and disappointing I enjoyed the food however had cramps when I got home so not sure how the food is prepared.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon and were excited to see what all the hype was about. The cookie dough was nice but ice cream sundae didn't contain what is said on the menu. The service was very slow and staff where no where to be seen on entering. Was really disappointed it was nothing special and we will not be visiting again.

We ate in and it took ages to look through the dessert menu! Opted for the amazing cookie dough ice cream dessert. It arrived fairly quickly and was presented really well. The customer service was really good. I would definitely return. No card machine though so take cash before you go as the cash machine down the road charges £1.99 to withdraw!

Visiting Manchester area and after our meal fancied some hot drinks and dessert. We were first offered seats which felt like you were on the floor and opted for the normal chairs and tables. We were told someone would come to you but after waiting a while I got bored and joined the queue at the front. They were clearly rushed of their feet with the few customers they had in and I ended up waiting a fair bit just to order.

one word Amazing.... waffles and milkshakes each and couldn't fault it at all.... highly recommended

I am a massive waffle and chocolate addict. Over the past year I've had over 60 waffles from 3 different places which I would rate all over 7/10.

I'm not much of a desert person but i can defiantly say i was impressed by the dessert shots they serve. Its was the perfect size for me and defiantly worth the money. Helpful staff and overall good family atmosphere. Try it!

First time ever I went and ordered custard and cake. Custard was cold, and before even eating it I had to get the women to get me a clean spoon 3 Times as all of them was dirty. And to top it up the 4th spoon i got was even more dirty than the others, so I went to the sink and washed it myself. Poor service, never going there again.

I visited with my mum and niece we were seated straight away we order 2 pancakes and 2 waffles we order 4 drinks 1 drink showed up and then 1 of the waffles which had the wrong things on then 2 more waffles came the person apologies and said the person was new then are other drinks came by this time I'm still sat there waiting of my pancakes which came when everyone had finished

What a disappointment! If your planning on having breakfast here make sure you set aside the whole day because that's how long you will need to be served. Service was absolutely shocking!! Although portions were large the food was tasteless!! Maybe you should change your phone status to 'Out for breakfast, gone a while'. Waiting for breakfast, see picture below

Love the selection of deserts. Cookie dough is the ultimate favour (not the dark choc one). However, service was not great, slow which was strange considering the place was quiet. Plus staff were not exactly attentive, was effort attempting to get attention!

I've been a few times before and it just feels average. The atmosphere ect is normal and the desserts is standard. Nothing special or out of the ordinary

Visited here after a friends bbq and drove 15 miles just too get there after hearing some great things....there was 7 of us craving our sugar fix and when we arrived it was busy considering it was 830 pm but the staff was very welcoming and sat us down although it was in the hotter than a auschwitz oven with no air conditioning at all but we sweated it.....finally our order was taken but there was a list longer than a sunbed of ingredients they didn't have....I was shocked when they said no malteasers or mint aero considering there was a supermarket facing the shop....we waited at least 20 mins for our milkshakes and desserts too arrive which was very good but you had too eat faster than Usain bolt cause they was melting like a chocolate fireguard....we came here too put weight on but definitely lost a few pounds due too the sauna like conditions even so it was still ok and would visit again probably in winter

Went for brekki it was really good and lots of variety however only one staff member making the food and there was 6 of us so each plate came out one at a time so no one really are with another person and the drinks came right at the end instead doc at the beginning or with the food. A lot walked in and walked back out as they hadn't been seated or served for a while. But very accommodating they should leave sauces out on the tables as that was a mission to keep asking for. But on the whole I would go again as the food and staff were nice.

Visited here this evening after hearing rave reviews from friends. I was assured it was worth the 35 minute drive from Wigan...it was not. Entered the establishment to be greeted by a seemingly uninterested member of staff who clearly couldn't handle the amount of customers waiting around the till. Finally got to the till and felt as though it was a real chore for him to take our orders. Eating-in was clearly a taboo subject as he regularly told people entering the place that there would be a lengthy wait for a table, despite the dining side of the shop being practically deserted. Waited for our orders on a bench down a corridor that may aswell have been in the toilets we was that close. The food was average and nothing special. It took us 3 requests to 2 members of staff to have a dessert boxed for take-away. Just felt as though we was a massive inconvenience.

Room Four is amazing, so long as you don't mind walking out looking six months pregnant.

Soooo slow. Slightly busy but should not have to wait nearly an hour for 3 milkshakes a choc cake and some melted choc " fondue". Made worse by the fact the next table sat down at the same time and were done by the time we got served. OK taste but not good value for money

Very poor customer service, especially lady at the reception...not friendly, not courteous, no welcoming smiles etc Not very clean, and sitting arrangement is not great either. No help with options available if you are visiting for the first time.

I have been to this place several times. I go to this place with my two little ones and is local to me, we all enjoyed ourselves every time we been. Desserts are really good, service can be abit slow at times but you can understand as it does get busy sometimes. Kids absolutely love the hot Nutella and white chocolate waffles and they do have some amazing shot deserts.

The food looks good, the desserts however weren't anything awe inspiring. Pretty basic; ice creams, cake, waffles etc. This was our 2nd visit and both times we found it pleasant but nothing too spectacular. The service was a little lacking first time around.

Went for the Belgian waffles which everyone raves about, and came away thinking that the reviews are fully justified. Delicious buttery melt in your mouth yumminess :) Wholeheartedly recommend.

Visited Room Four for lunch with 3 workmates. Had heard about the great food they offered but were apprehensive about visiting because of some of the negative reviews read on here about service standards.

I recently visited with a few friends and we ordered the sticky toffee pudding. I have to say it was very good. The staff were courteous and helpful. But as we paid and we were leaving the lady at the counter was taking some glasses for some customers, she took the ice from the freezer with her hand and cause she had quite a few she held it close to her clothes with her hand so the ice was touching her clothes. She then used her hands to put the ice in the glasses. I found it disgusting and on top of that she then scratched her head and carried on using the same hand to put the ice in the glass.

Went for lunch today. Our party ordered waffles, poached egg and desserts. The food was great..and the two young kids we had with us loved it.

I Visited room 4 desserts tonight for the second time with a friend. The first time, the service was slow and poor, yet I appreciate that all businesses have bad days and it may have just been a one off exception, how I was so wrong!! I have never been as appalled by such service in all my life. Majority of the staff are very rude and inexperienced with the exception of one friendly older blonde lady who took our payment, however, the only positive thing I have to say about this Restaraunt I'm afraid. Moving on...

Been here twice at different times of day once late at night and lunch time, both really quiet but the service it shocking. They put us on a dirty table , brought our food before our drinks and we ordered two sandwiches the same but they only brought one and then tried to charge us for 2. They didn't bring any cutlery or napkins over at any course. It's such a shame because the food is lovely but the service is the worst I have ever had!! I'd go if you aren't bothered about the service!

Generally the desserts here are very appealing, tasty and varied. I have visited on several occasions having tested their breakfast, lunch and dessert options. Enjoyed it all.

Desserts were nice overall very filling. Staff were friendly and helpful although when we arrived we had to wait ten minutes to be seated although the place was very quiet. I would consider it expensive in comparison to other dessert bars

The desserts were very tasty, were presented differently to the takeaway versions we got a few weeks earlier... but were equally tasty. Waffles were very light and the toppings were the perfect amount.

I recently visited Room Four at their second location based in All Souls Church in Bolton. I was there for a business meeting and decided to have some lunch. The menu looked well thought out and extremely good value. I opted for the fish and chips which arrived promptly and was really well presented with goujons of lemon sole and breaded king prawns as a bonus. Priced at £5.95 presented excellent value. The 70 cover restaurant in the brilliantly renovated All Souls Church (now a business centre and events space) is a great find and ideal for business meetings, lunches and events (makes a change from the usual venues). Definitely will be returning soon.

Service was average food ok milkshake not available due to equipment broke very disappointed.been to better with better service they need to improve on this

This is the second time I have visited Room Four Desert and this time I was greatly disappointed. The staff were young women who lacked pro activity and just wanted to gossip, the mugs and jugs given to us were deeply chipped all the way down and a huge hazzard for scolds. All in all I am not planning on returning again!

Everytime we have been there, service is fab. The waffles are just divine!! Can't wait to go again!!! Their crepe is really delish too!!! The best is the Nutella milk shake though!! Making my mouth water just writing about it!

i am a regular visitor of this establishment for coffee and deserts and have not once ever been let down by the quality of its products or the quality of customer service they provide. i highly recommend this establishment for anyone looking somewhere local for deserts and well worth the price you pay vs quality of the products.

I've been here a few times now, for breakfast , lunch and dessert , on separate occasions. Easily the best dessert place in Bolton. Warm, friendly service. Always have a wide selection of desserts and drinks to choose from.

I went to Room 4 for breakfast with my husband and daughter as a treat we ordered and the food arrived about 15-20 minutes later. The plates were chipped, they forgot to bring the toast we had to go back to the till to enquire where it was it took them another 10 minutes to bring that out. The smiley faces i ordered my toddler were FRIED!! and all hard and drenched in oil. Very poor service, and seriously need new dinner sets serving in chipped plates!!

I visited room 4 with my sister and niece. My sister ordered the chocolate fudge cake and I ordered a waffle dessert. The choc fudge cake arrived and was just an average, standard cake and over priced for what it was. The waffle didn't arrive, after I asked where it was I was told there has been a confusion with our order! We waited, my sister finished her cake, and the waffle still had not arrived so I cancelled it & got a refund.

My husband and i decided to go for a dessert on the bank holiday with our baby. We have been a few times when it had first opened and thought the service was of a good standard, but this visit has totally put us off the place and we will not be visiting again. We came in sat down and got comfortable with our 8 month old baby. We took a while deciding what to have and once decided i went to the til to place our order which was not very difficult as it was a regular chai, sticky toffee pudding and a jam sponge with custard. The young lady at the til mentioned it was her first day so was just getting used to using the ordering system. We sat down and were told the tea would take 10 mins as they need to boil it which was fine as it came out within 5 mins instead of 10. We were then expecting the desserts to follow shortly. We waited.... and waited at this point our baby was getting restless. So i went upto the til to ask how long it was going to take as we had been waiting for 40mins and had finished our chai. The young lady said she will check if its done yet?! We had been waiting 40mins how long does a pudding take to warm up? She came to us after another 5 mins to tell us the sticky toffee pudding was out of stock and if i wanted anything else instead!!! I was so dissapointed at the fact that i hadn't been told this upon placing the order and was told after a 45min wait! And if my choice of dessert was out of stock where was my husbands? At this point we were tired of waiting and it was nearing to the time of our sons bedtime so I asked for a refund instead. I was given the refund for the puddings but was charged for a large chai instead of the regular which we had ordered but only realised this once we got home as we were in abit of a rush to get out of there. One of the girls did come to us whilst we were getting ready to go to ask if we wanted a complimentary drink but it was too late and if that was the case they could have apologised and given a full refund instead of cutting money off for the chai.

I have just had a great meal served in unusual but lovely surroundings by friendly and attentive staff x theres parking on site and lots to look at x All Souls Bolton is a magnificent new venue x

Room Four Desserts has chosen a fab location for it's second branch - All Souls Church has been beautifully renovated and is a wonderful community resource. We only had coffee this time, but it was good coffee served by a very pleasant and chatty waitress. We'll be back to sample the gorgeous looking desserts next time.

Came here with my wife heard a few good things about how. Wrong was I its dirty ,walls need decorating paint peeling off walls milk jug and sugar pot both chipped

This is one of the best dessert places I have been to. Their menu is amazing, their desserts are spectacular, their customer service is excellent.

Heard a lot about this place and to be honest everyone was giving me mix reviews. So I decided to go down with some friends to simply find out what all the fuss is about.

Went for lunch today for the first time after reading good reviews about this place. Limited but interesting selection of hot savoury food, and we really enjoyed our spinach and mushroom filo pastry pie and the pasta bake with chicken and sweetcorn. Nicely presented with salad and a bread roll. Fantastic selection of cakes and desserts, I was hard pushed to choose! The red velvet cake was a winner. I couldn't finish it all and the helpful and friendly staff wrapped it up beautifully for me to bring home. Nice modern, fresh interior.

This is definitely the place to visit if you've got a sweet tooth... Great service, lovely desserts & coffees... YUMMY

This has been the talk of the town for a few months, the new, hip place for desserts and people seem to come far and wide to try it out.

It's long overdue I write a review for RoomFourDessert, after going atleast 4 times a month I can easily say it's the best dessert place I've ever been to!

Dunno why but was expecting more... Seating not comfortable, staff mega slow. Food was ok nothing to write home about.

Went in for a dessert which was very nice had waffle.. But service was very slow on receiving the deserts and a long wait to order too. Also small mistake with the drink other wise nice place, friendly and nice locals

Made a visit here after a trip to the Steakout Bus, and was not disappointed!

Have passed Room Four an number of times and it's always busy. Eventually got round to visiting this week and it certainly won't be our last visit. Greeted by a really friendly member of staff who helped us choose a suitable dessert. We opted for the chocolate fondue to share with cappuccinos. Food and drinks arrived quickly, the fondue was great and really reasonable considering what we got for our money. Lovely coffee and great service. All the staff appeared very young, however they all came across as being very helpful and professional. We were asked at least three times by passing staff if the dessert was OK and was there anything else we wanted.The waitress with the red hair mentioned in a previous review could not have been more helpful, she cleared our table when we had finished eating and she chatted to my two children. This business is clearly doing extremely well as it is always busy whenever I drive past. The desserts are amazing but the greatest asset has to be the staff, unfortunately its rare these days for a whole team of staff to be so helpful and enthusiastic. Room Four need to be very proud of the staff they have working for them. We will definitely be returning, in fact my children wanted to go back the next day!

From breakfast,lunch and dessert top food quality lovely staff and overall good servive. Extremely friendly staff who come over and ask if everything is ok and appologise for delays.

As the title suggests, this place is pretty much what a dessert lover needs in their life. I'm a lover of all things sweet, and having sampled the delights of the numerous dessert parlours in Birmingham and London, I always wished that there was something similar "up north"! Well fellow dessert aficionados, that place has arrived, and what a bang it's made. Room Four Dessert rocks!

Upon entering the premises I was looking forward to the experience as both my boys had been and had been raving about it . As I was greeted by a young server with red locks who took the order of my wife then in the interim commenced to make fun off me and my son about our similar jackets we had on , I never realised I would need approval nor my son on what we ware , this instantly upset me and I never ordered a dessert

Great place right next to the steak out bus. Had amazing dessert here, was super eAsy to find as it was on a main rd.
