I came here with my family as I haven't had Persian food in a long time and I was in two minds going because of what some people told me so I thought what's the worst could happen so the food is absolutely vile and disgusting the rice wasn't even cooked and the meat is hands down the worst meat iver ever tasted it seemed like it's been hidden in corner of the fridge for months had a off taste and made me throw up when I got in not just me all of us and yet they decided to serve this horrible crap to the paying costumers and the toilets are just vile with skid marks everywhere

Bad service and awful food. £20 for 2 bowls of soup and 1 bread! I waited an hour and no delivery. Rang up and was told they are too busy and the food would take another 30 minutes. Soup was delivered and it was the worst Persian soup I’ve ever tasted. It tasted like tinned tomato soup with lemon juice and coriander leaves added. The flatbread was supermarket packet bread that was chewy and tasteless. I recommend avoiding this restaurant.

Went with some people and they enjoyed the food! Big portions for a good price! Very attentive to our needs. Thank you! We will be coming back again!

We were invited to a get together at the Braza so I looked it up on the web. I was not impressed by what I saw as the menu choice, but the die was cast and the Braza was the venue. When we got there we found that the place sits in a sea of car parks all alone and distant from other properties. In fact at night it was the only building lit up. The nearest car park that would take payment was the Casino - £3.50 for over two hours - pay by card. On entering the Braza at seven thirty on a Saturday night, we were the only party there - alarm bells rang. Saturday evening is peak time - where were the, any, customers???? The place had all the ambiece and welcome of a 60s Wimpy bar but none of the appeal. We attempted to place orders - between misunderstandings, ommissions and the simple inability to find anything I was prepared to eat we got the order in. The starter arrived - I had chosen to skip them - humous and pitta bread, warmed on a hot plate so tha the underside was as black as charcoal, the wrong garlic mushrooms order - not a great start. The main course - the Braza obviously has an arrangement with Uncle Ben's. An upturned pot of herb rice with every order and iceberg and tomatoes with something pink drizzled over it and your selection of meats. I had the salmon - bredcrumbed and grilled to within an inch of its life - truly uneatable! My wife had a lamb kebab -I tried a slice and spat it out - more salt than lamb and again grilled crisp. I could not face what they might do to a sweet although I like a nice faludah so we paid and left Do yourself a favour and avoid this place at all costs. If this persian food I'll stick with my western, asian, italian preferences

The Food is really nice. Order dish no 27 from the menu. It is a delight to eat and is so succulent. Chicken and lamb both are delicious

I would give my honest experience. My order was the mix grill for two & hot starter Kash bademjon. I would give 5 star if the bread was baked freshly with proper raised dough. Kash Bademjan was served in acceptable quality. Main course: the rice was cooked in perfection. Koobideh kebab had a great taste, but the size was small due to over fatty meat the size got shrank once it grilled. Barg kebab was good but not fresh. Joojeh kebab was salty and spicy. Also there were black spots on all kebabs which indicates the grill is gass not charcoal. All in all, considering the location and services it was great experience. Thanks

Always go here before a visit to the Octagon Theatre so early about 5.30pm as location is perfect. Food delicious as usual, quiet at this time, background music traditional and perfect volume. Owner and staff always polite and pleasant.

The chicken kebab in the mixed kebab option we chose was definitely the best the kabidah was also very nice the lamb was just ok a big portion is give for three people to share we took the leftovers back home with us

Not kind of person who writes bad reviews but today’s experience has been awful! We have been many times to this restaurant and it was amazing (food was amazing and great customer service). Firstly, we come in order and everything and we over heard the lady telling someone else that the only accept cash! Not until we asked her if they would accept card (she said no)! Ive always been in restaurants and we’ve always been informed as soon as we got in if we are happy to pay cash which is not a problem. We were fine at the point just little bit disappointed as it was heavily raining. Secondly, a little stone was found in the food which we reported it and after a while the lady came and said (this dessert from the owner and she apologise as this never happened) clearly not as from the below comments someone reported it 4 months ago! Last but not least the TOILET was in such a horrible state (deadly insects around the basin and smelling disgusting) it made us think how clean was the food and how hygienic the kitchen is)! Bear in mind that we sat and never complained. Lastly, we asked for the bill and said we will go to the cash machine which was at Morrisons opposite the restaurant. The rude lady said i cant let you both leave! Not even politely! If she asked politely, it would’ve been a different story! My husband argued with her because of her attitude. We didn't expect that a customer at a restaurant would be treated that way. If the new owner will continue in this approach definitely you wont have a business in few months! Customer service is zero not even a smile Food was good but can be better as in taste. We will never return.

Im not the type to give 1 star to a fellow iranian business however the food we got tonight was simply horrible and lacked any quality. Maybe its the fact we ordered late 🙄 but wow im not feeding the kids any of these stuff

Food was decent and owner was good. We found a scourer metal piece in the rice that my Mrs quickly saw and we reported it to the owner (hence the 3 stars). He replaced the rice and gave us a slight discount on the bill whilst apologising for that error. They need to make sure there are no issues like these in the future in the food but overall good place.

Came here on Valentines day at around 6pm. Nice and quiet. Food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Really good quality food and really enjoyed it all.

I came to this Resturant with my family but the staff in side very rood and not kind and the food quality is very bad and restaurant dosn't accept me .never again come back to this restaurant.

Lovely atmosphere and the food is great

Been visiting Braza for years. Some of the best grilled meats in town with lovely rice and salad olivieh and kashk e badamjam. Sad to see that they are no longer doing fresh naans which were amaaaaaazing on previous visits hence only three stars. Please bring these back!

I hate leaving bad reviews, however if you can't deliver food within a 5 mile radius in under 1 hour and 30 minutes, something is terribly wrong with your business. You decided to not use Uber eats driver and still can't logistically get orders on time. Won't be returning.

Pros: The food tasted delicious, the flavour was good overall (especially the lamb shanks). It’s a nice environment, family place. The NCP car park opposite the restaurant is free if you reserve a table before going (just talk to the host/hostess inside). Cons: The lamb kebab was too oily, the chicken was a bit overcooked hence dry, the naan were not fresh hence went solid after a couple of minutes of being reheated. The toilet does not have warm water and the hand dryer does not work.

Easily one of the best if not the best place to eat in bolton, especially in the centre, the food is always fresh and tasty with really good portion sizes. The starters are always full of flavour and the chicken wings are amazing! The meata for the mains have always been tender and just deliciou. Cant fault the food or the staff for anything!

We used to visit regularly until we moved out of the area around three years ago and it was always good food & service. We decided to return & we weren’t disappointed. We shared a couple of starters which don’t look much but, along with the breads, are very moorish & we had to make sure we didn’t fill up on them. I ordered the lamb shank as it was always my favourite & it was as good as ever. The others all had kebabs & every plate was cleaned up. The spices they use are not hot and they just taste delicious. The young lady serving, who we remembered from our past visits, was really nice & helpful. The menu wasn’t big but the food was very tasty & we plan to go back soon.

We've had many many lovely takeaway meals from this restaurant. Cannot say I've ever had a dish we didn't like. The meat is packed full of flavour, and so tender you could cut it with a spoon. We will definitely be along to eat in at some point. Will definitely be returning for many years to come.

I couldn't beleive how good was the food... you should try it. one of the best Persian kebab I had in all UK... specially try chicken Kebab (Juje) that was amazing. also traditional koobide kebab was taste likeresturants in Iran. the price very reasonable...and menu was good. resturant was claen also. the waiters also very polite and professional.

Excellent persian food. The food quality was just heavenly. The chicken🍗 was very aromatic and soft. The lamb🐑 kebab was cooked to perfection, not dry or undercooked. The accompanied salads and sauces were fresh and minty. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Hello This was a major mistake going here. We were very hungry and really looking forward to a good meal.after reading the reviews we thought it looked good, but wrong.The customer services was good But the food was really really bad. If this restaurant wants to keep its customers, I suggest it radically changes its current approach.

Absolutely excellent 👏. Such unexpected but perfect flavors. The olives were so delicious that even my husband, who doesn't like olives, loved them. Hummus is slightly chunky and so full of flavor. The meat dishes are very tender and again so flavorful. The restaurant also makes its own naan and you can witness the process and maybe even try the bread right out of tandoori

Been going to this restaurant for many years and experienced changes of chef and management. Today was the first dining experience with the present new management and chefs and can quite honestly say the very best food we have had. They have also updated the decor which give the restaurant a more warm chic look. We will be returning soon.

Food is best Iranian food you ever eat in and around Greater Manchester. Most of the staff are outstanding but the owner is a rude person. I have been there at least 5 times in 3 months. Everything my experience is outstanding and relaxing when owner is not around. He is non courteous, no etiquette, no mannerism, receives you with no smile. He is very strict and rude in behaviour. Rest of female staff are brilliant. They make you feel comfortable and adjust your order with minute changes from menu. Once I was in restaurant and the owner was on his own. He mixed up orders and the lady was waiting on counter going for work was told that her order had gone to someone else. She had to go without her food to work. Than he rang the other person asking him to pay more as he delivered the wrong order. He was very rude with them as well. I think due to his behaviour no one comes to dine in. Out of 5 times I went 4 times it was me alone for dine in at peak hours on weekends. My recommendation is to call them before you go and check if the owner is not around. Otherwise get a delivery...but that can be messed up too.. Food is delicious, fresh and outstanding..no doubt

My partner had been here before she was raving about how great this place was for fresh food. So made a special trip to visit. However when we arrived we were the only ppl in the restaurant and no one arrived while we were there. We ordered starters and mains when the starters arrived if was reheated naan with reheated aubergine and tomato sauce. After being told by my partner the naan is always fresh we were both disappointed. I called over the waiter he even felt the naan which was soggy. Which they replaced with freshly cooked naan which was very kind of them. For mains the meat was really well cooked and tasted amazing however the saffron rice was a few sprinkles of saffron rice over normal rice. The salad was mostly lettuce cut with a sprinkle of two slices of tomato three slice of cucumber and a few slices of red onion. The chilli sauce was not fresh and tasted like the kebab shop. Disappointed as was not what we were expecting from previous visits. However not the worst places I’ve eaten at.

Probably the best takeaway in Bolton. We order from here at least twice a week. Fantastic flavours, freshly cooked and healthy Makes a great change from your standard Chinese, curry or pizza.

Excellent service and delicious meal. Very warm and welcoming.We enjoyed the Braza Mix kebab for 2ppl. Comes with 2 sides off your choice. And a freshly made Naan bread. We'll be definitely back.
