Room 43 Bar & Kitchen in Wandsworth

I visited as a solo traveler but a lover of jazz and cocktails. The bartender was very welcoming and chatty, made me feel at home despite being on my own. Also makes fantastic cocktails, he’s an artist - didn’t catch his name unfortunately. Would recommend +++

We wanted to try here as a little different, but we were weren’t overly impressed for started the main bar man seemed a bit rude and not overly friendly, there was no one really in there either. We felt the band played loudly for the space, we were going to eat but as it was a bit empty and a bit overbearing we decided not to and headed down to Clapham junction instead.

Brought our 83 year old mum to listen to the jazz and have a meal. They were so attentive and gave her freebie extras. She had a grand old time. Delicious food and wonderful music.

I spent the evening at Room 43 for my friends' wedding reception. We had the best time... Andrey the bartender and Zac the waiter couldn't have been more helpful and charming. The food was absolutely delicious and we had some of the best cocktails I've ever tasted. I really hope I have time to visit when I'm back in London this weekend. A friend and I hosted our 30th at Room43 on a Saturday night, and I cannot recommend it enough! We had the whole bar, and were able to decorate with balloons and photos, and have a cake brought out. We hired a jazz band for a few hours which was lovely, and afterwards played music from Spotify. The selection of nibbles was delicious! The staff were super helpful and friendly, and really helped us to have the best night. It’s a great space, both inside and out. Thanks very much to all the team for helping us have a fab 30th birthday and look forward to returning for dinner sometime!

Me and my fiancé went to Room43 for food and drinks. It was absolutely amazing. Couldn’t fault one thing. The food and drinks were great, so fresh! Definitely recommend the rose cocktail! It also had the nicest staff members working there, they couldn’t of done any more for us, so friendly and really easy to talk to. We wasn’t rushed into ordering or anything. To top of off while we were sat outside, they had life jazz playing in the background which was perfect! Highly highly recommend! Great night!

We had an amazing time! Lovely food, proper Iranian, great relaxed atmosphere, great location. We got the platters, really good quality, and the halloumi which was 4 big delicious pieces. We’re going there again for sure.

Thoroughly enjoyed the comedy night on Wednesday evenings. All 6/7 acts were very funny, particularly the female comedians. Middle Eastern food was delicious and service was impeccable. Will definitely be returning and trying the jazz evenings

We’re local and wish we’d tried this place sooner! Went on a Saturday night for dinner, which was lovely. It was fully booked, but tables are limited, which created a great atmosphere, especially with the jazz trio playing in the background (would be great if they played a little longer!). The starters were absolutely amazing and full of flavour. We had the chicken skewers (delicious) and salmon (pretty good) for mains. The cocktails… are absolutely incredible. Finally, the service, so great! Recommend!

Our waiter was extremely friendly and looked after us very well. The overall atmosphere was just what we were looking for - relaxed, ambient and cosy with a soothing live jazz band in the background. The food was also incredible and reasonably priced.
