Ronnies desserts in Solihull

I've been here quite a few times, staff are very polite and all desserts have been spot on every time, especially the chocolate cake 😋. The kids love it as well.

Ordered online went to collect at specified time 40 minutes later still waiting. Waffle machine wasn’t working correctly waffles kept sticking offered a crepe instead. Service was slow good job they weren’t busy. I’m all for local businesses but sadly this one isn’t for me

Went in tonight for the first time after a bad experience there a fair few months ago so we were sceptical but needn't have been. The menu has changed with the additional of soup and toasties and the tea is now in a mug. We had 2 cheese toasties and 2 cookie doughs. All our plates were cleared and the food was yummy. Staff were lovely too.

Ordered cookie dough came solid and burned. Seemed like they smothered it in chocolate sauce to cover the burnt bits. Only wanted some cookie dough and had to reach a limit which I understand so I asked for a can to reach it. But I don’t get I’ve paid for can but didn’t receive it. Delivery driver 5/5 so friendly. But back to it don’t understand if I order cookie dough why do I get a cookie?.

Took my 12yr old twins for a treat after school. Brilliant food, great service and fantastic prices. £11 for a waffle with ice cream and 2 toppings and a chocolate brownie sundae... Will definitely return next week

Ordered online, sent the wrong order because what I ordered was out of stock?! and expected me to take it, claimed they called me to discuss which they did not, first and last time I will order from here. Got a full refund thankfully. Why would you send someone something different to what they’ve ordered??

This is our favourite dessert shop by miles! We sometimes get it delivered and sometimes we eat in. The desserts are top quality, good size and cheaper than some other desserts shops i have been to previously. They dont charge ridiculous prices for delivery either which is a bonus when you cant be bothered to eat in.

Ordered Pancakes. More like bread than pancakes.

Lovely place, bigger than it looks. Very friendly staff. Portion size very good, nice selection of homemade cakes. The cookie and creps are very nice.

I went in to order milkshakes and a couple of desserts. The quality of the milkshakes was poor, they were really runny and tasted just like milk no other flavourings. The cookie dough was also poor and it just seemed like the staff were rushing because it was close to closing time. Comments were being made about “getting out of work on time” but I was still within the opening times of the store. These comments made me feel awkward about being there and had they not been made I might have felt more comfortable raising an issue with the quality of the milkshakes whilst I was there. It was a complete waste of money.

I ring up for my orders and every single time I am spoken to in a friendly and respectful manner. My orders are always spot on, super pleased with my orders every time. I will never ever go to another dessert place since having Ronnie's.

Had a wonderful afternoon tea with a choice of sandwiches, cakes, 2 scones with jam & cream + tea bags. My husband collected it. Delivery was available. Would recommend to family and friends.

Really poor food portion size small and most things are premade and not fresh.

Desert place slaps no question asked. Fav dessert is dream lover.

Can't rate food as the service declines to serve. Second time in about 2 months TURNED DOWN for service. First time couple months ago went in about 7pm from collecting order in Pepe's only wanted a shake told 'not open' despite door being open and staff working behing till. Second time today went in at 8:30pm told 'not taking orders' business says open till 11pm...not an issue because lots of competitors in the area so we had choice.

Good place for deserts/ milkshakes well priced does get busy at times but worth the wait i regularly grab something from here

Ordered from here today absolutely shocking service waited 2 hours for our order after a hour and half they rang to say there waffle machine wasnt working and offer a crep instead, when the food was delivered it was vile crep was chewy and the cookie dough is so thin its unbelievable and also only just cooked and not only that the ice cream they sent was wrong!! Waste of £16 will not be ordering from here again!

Food was okay. I didn't like that the sausages are deep fat fried. And there was little maple syrup on my order, I was expecting more because I asked for maple syrup.

Absolutely fantastic. I had a bubblegum sundae, chocolate concrete and custard and jaffa cake. Wow! It was delivered within time. I expected the sundae to be like milk shake but was perfect. Everything tasted great. I will definitely be going again. Thank you.

Amazing 🌟 After travelling down from Minehead, the service we received here was lovely and the desserts we ordered were amazing and well prepared. I left Ronnie's with a massive smile on my face.

It's almost there and has the potential to be a very cool place. There were 2 copies of the menu on our table with different prices on each. They're a little unclear on what is included in each option too

If you love puddings this is the place to go ,the place is decked out in 1960s . Good portion size but very sickly but really lovely..

Excellent customer service going out of there way to encourage my autistic grandson to interact &enjoy meeting Santa, I would highly recommend them &that is without their delicious cakes !

Lovely little cafe with plenty of seating front and back. Staff are friendly and really helpful! We went for lunch and had panini's served with crisps and salad which only cast £4 great lunch break food! They offer a wide range of desserts including waffles and cookie doughs you can choose your own toppings or go for their own recipes. We had the biscoff cheesecake and the red devil cheesecake, both were delicious. The ladies also let us know they serve classic school style desserts so we took home some servings of chocolate concrete! We noticed they had signs for Santa's grotto and cooking with Mrs Claus for the kids. This little cafe is lovely for lunch, snacks and definitely desserts! The only suggestion I would make is to have waffle prices on the wall menus but that's about it as you can easily ask for a menu.

Ordered everything kinder cookie dough to take away, opened the box when I got home and saw it was just chocolate cookie dough which is less money then what I paid. Disappointed to say the least

My grandchildren loved there waffles and crepes. I had cheese, ham toastie. Halloween decks was awsome. Even told the kids to press all the buttons on animated decorations. Beautiful friendly staff. Grandkids nagging to go back .

How poor is this place order delivery forgot parts of the order but was told sorry were now closed and the cookie Dow was terrible soggy and stuck to the grease paper shocking food

really like this place not as dear as most desert shops and they are really tasty

Service at ronnies is great good selection of things on the menu and reasonably priced Only 1 small gripe is that some of the ice creams lack any taste , the candy floss has virtually no taste at all. Could do with a few more flavours but on the whole it's a good place to go, can't say I've ever had a bad experience.

Biscoff cheesecake was great, same with the shake we had too.

excellent brunch & dessert. we had a (rather filling) english breakfast on waffles with maple syrup; stunning 📰. you are spoilt for choice, but for dessert i eventually selected the peanut butter stack with ice cream & syrup, alongside a well-balanced americano. service with smiles and a few laughs. the american theme is fun & something a little different 🗽🇵🇷 pleasant little garden with seating at the back. def worth a visit & probs the best al fresco dining on the manor. plenty of lights so one imagines it's great in the evenings too 😎🌃👉🏾

I travelled all the way from Cambridgeshire to visit my sisters house and she took me to Ronnies as she knew I have a sweet tooth. The staff were amazing and the food was out of this sweet world. Sensational service and it really felt like I was in an American style diner from the 90s.

Lovely to have Ronnie's back open and food still as good as ever.

A lovely family run business. Ronnies Desserts is a cozy rock ‘n’ roll, USA themed diner. It sells a range of desserts, ice creams, smoothies and hot drinks. From 17:30 they cook street food in the back yard including: butter chicken burgers, hot dogs, chicken wings. Now open from 10:00 Tuesday - Saturday and from 17:00 on Sunday and Monday. Pop in, put your favourite classic rock ‘n’ roll track on and tuck into some American Pie.

Would give more stars if I could. Definitely the best gelato place in Birmingham. Lovely friendly staff and great variety of flavours. Definitely be back.

Cracking place, food is gorgeous esp waffles, cookie dough and crepes with all sorts of toppings, all the named chocolates, strawberrys, raspberries, banana, etc, create your own!! and it's all very well presented. Loved the Milkshakes too. Fresh, Clean, lively place, a really good atmosphere and a nice place for a meet and a coffee and cake or with a party for a desert treat.Very good value for what you get too, not like other desert shops I've been to where you pay over the top prices and get a tiny little waffle with hardly any toppings etc. Owners have obviously thought it all through from a customers point of view, Well done Ronnie's. A+++
